Eventually the word got around about Kurt’s concert and the New Directions and the Warblers both got together in the McKinley auditorium to plan. No one, not even Blaine or Burt, had told Kurt about what they were planning because it was going to be a surprise. Blaine knew that Kurt would be mad at the thought of being charity; he’d also be touched by the thought of it. There were so many times that Rachel tried to take over and Mercedes, Blaine and a few others kept having to remind her that she wasn’t in charge. Rachel demanded certain things, certain lighting and spots in the show and “being the best, I have to sing more than one song. Oh and I also have to have the finale piece.” Which made every person in the room, except Finn, roll their eyes.
“Actually Rachel, I’m having the finale piece. I’m going to sing something to Kurt, to show him how much I love him. And this show, isn’t about you. In case you weren’t aware, my boyfriend and your friend is blind and his family doesn’t have the money to buy the things he needs. Unless you are willing to cough up the thousands of dollars then shut up, Rachel.” Blaine snapped, looking back at his clipboard and writing down a few notes. “Okay, everyone is going to sing at least once and you are going to invite everyone, your parents, their friends, your friends, your family, just everyone. We need as many people as we can to show up to support Kurt.”
“Can we duet and sing solos?” Rachel asked, looking at Finn and then swishing her hair over her shoulder.
“I’ll consider it, it all depends on the songs that you pick. We will have rehearsals together so we can make this the best goddamn show ever.”

Blaine had to rush off early from the meeting to go to the hospital, Kurt was coming home today and he was so excited. He linked arms with Kurt and led him to his car because Burt was working, so he offered to take Kurt home and look after him. Kurt was so happy to be going home and he was telling Blaine everything he could smell and how fascinating it was to have heightened senses.
“Do you want to know what I overheard today?” Kurt asked Blaine excitedly, gripping onto him as if his life depended on it as they walked to the house.
“What did you hear, my love?” Blaine asked with a smile, holding Kurt the same way.
“I heard that the nurse Nina is sleeping with the doctor Ian who is sleeping with the other doctor Caroline who thinks she might be pregnant. Nina is in love with Ian but Ian loves Katherine but she’s getting married to doctor Paul. It’s this great love whatever it is.”
“Wow! That is totally messed up, I’d hate to be in that mess. I love our bubble, Kurt loves Blaine and Blaine really, really, really loves Kurt.” Blaine kissed Kurt’s cheek after speaking, loving the feel of Kurt’s smiling face under his lips.
“But Kurt really, really, really loves Blaine too.” Kurt grinned at Blaine.
“How much is really, really, really?”
“Like a whole lot! Possibly more than I love shopping.”
“That is a lot, not more than fashion or Broadway?” Blaine teased.
“How could I love anything more than Broadway and fashion?” Kurt giggled that adorable giggle that made Blaine melt into the biggest puddle.
“That’s okay then because I don’t think it’s possible for me to love Harry Potter, bow ties and Broadway less. Glad we’re on the same page.” Blaine teased again, still hearing Kurt’s musical giggle that made everything seem so much better.
“Blaine?” Kurt stopped just before the step outside the door.
“Yes, Kurt?”
“I love you.” Kurt smiled, his face showing so much love that he didn’t think it was possible to show more in it.
“I love you so much.” Blaine smiled back, leaning in slowly to kiss Kurt’s red, plumb lips. They kissed for a few seconds before Blaine broke away. “Come on, let’s get you inside and show you the bedroom that we’re made up for you downstairs.” He paused and realised what he said. “Sorry!”

Blaine led Kurt inside carefully, making sure that he didn’t trip over anything or hurt himself because Burt would kill him for that.
“Right, your bed is over by the kitchen door, so you can just get out of it and walk round the corner. Your clothes are in the dresser that Finn and I brought down, it’s a few steps away from the bed and we’ve sorted everything else out so it’s easier for you.” Blaine led Kurt to the couch, sitting him down on it.
“Thank you Blaine. I really mean it, thank you so much. Can you lead me to my bed and can you lie with me?” Kurt asked in a voice that came out so much like a child, Blaine thought. He took Kurt’s hands and led him over to the bed, helping Kurt get his shoes off and taking his own off before sitting down. Kurt laid down and Blaine lay behind him with his arms tight around his boyfriend, spooning with him. “I’m not going back to Dalton, am I?”
“No honey, you’re not. But, I did have an idea that I wanted to talk to you about.” Blaine kissed Kurt’s head and held him closer.
“What idea?”
“Your dad is going to send you back to McKinley, the jocks aren’t going to hurt you because they’ve been punished and Karofsky transferred to another school. I thought that maybe, I could transfer to McKinley too. I could help you get around and you and I can be together so much more, we can do glee together and just be like we are at Dalton but at McKinley.”
“You would do that, for me?” Kurt was shocked and moved, he turned around in Blaine’s arms and kissed him. He actually missed Blaine’s lips and kissed Blaine’s chin instead but he didn’t care, he was so happy.
“Baby, if the sun wasn’t right in the sky I would move it for you.” Blaine grinned and kissed Kurt’s lips.
“You really are the best boyfriend in the entire world.” Kurt’s grin was so big that it made Blaine want to cry, he hadn’t seen Kurt smile like this in a while.
“No, you are. I have the best boyfriend in the world and that’s never going to change.”
