“Well this is it.” Blaine said looking down at the grave that belonged to Mrs. Hummel. “But he’s not here.” He sorted out the flowers that were laid there, obviously from one of the Hummel men. He took note of what the flower was, it was a tulip, the flowers were from Kurt. Kurt had a fondness for tulips. Red ones in particular.
“He doesn’t really talk about his mum.” Rachel said looking down at the grave too.
“He does with me, he talks about her a lot and quite openingly.” Blaine said whilst staring down at the old grave.
“Really? So you know how he feels about you?” Rachel looked up at Blaine, hoping he knew, really knew.
“I know he has feelings for me.” Blaine said honestly. “I think...”
“He loves you. Not having you around makes him sad, he misses you.”
“I miss him too.”
“Stop playing him around, he loves you and he wants to be with you but you need to decide who you want to be with.”
“I know who I want to be with, I have done for a while. I’m not playing him around, I do love Kurt.”
“Then why were you on a date with that big haired guy?”
“Big haired... No! That wasn’t a date!”
“It sure looked like it, you were holding hands and it looked very cosy.”
“He held my hand and he was trying to help me with Kurt. I didn’t know you guys were there until you left.”
“He was devastated when he saw you two; he was trying not to cry in the car. He tried to make it seem like he wasn’t bothered but he really was. You need to fix this.”
Blaine felt so bad hearing about Kurt, he really did need to fix it. His heart ached and he nodded in response to what Rachel was saying. “L-lets go. He’s obviously not here. Where else could he be?”
“We could always go back to the school, have a look around.”
Blaine nodded and the pair went back to the car.

Kurt hugged himself and cried, he was so alone and he doubted that anyone was looking for him. He was surprised with how much he wanted Blaine to find him. He was so hungry and he desperately needed the toilet but he couldn’t go. He knew that eventually his dad would get worried but that probably wouldn’t be for another few hours.

Blaine and Rachel arrived at the school, Rachel had called Finn and the guys to see if they found anything but they hadn’t do they all decided to meet at the school. Blaine went off to look for Kurt while Rachel waited for the boys.
“Hey Rachel.” The boys jumped out of Finn and Puck’s cars.
“Hey guys, Blaine’s here, he’s inside looking for Kurt.”
“You know we’ve searched the school and we’ve found nothing. We didn’t tell Burt because we didn’t want to worry him but if Kurt isn’t back soon then I’ll have to.” Finn told her.
“Blaine’s just double checking, he’s really worried.”
“We all are, Rachel. Karofsky was alone and he didn’t have anything on him that showed that had hurt anything or anyone.”
Finn took Rachel’s hand and they went into the school to try to find Blaine.

“Kurt!” Blaine shouted, desperate to find Kurt.
Kurt heard someone shouting for him, it sounded like Blaine. “Blaine!”
Blaine called for Kurt again and then heard someone say his name back. He turned and saw Rachel and the others coming over; he figured that it was them who was calling him. He stopped and waited for them.
“Blaine! Blaine please! In here, Blaine!” Kurt cried desperately, banging on the door, he slid down the door and screamed Blaine’s name one more time.
“Kurt?” Blaine heard the scream and looked in the direction of the room. “Did you hear that? That was Kurt.” He began running towards the room, he pushed the handle down but it didn’t open. “It’s locked. Kurt!”
“Back up dude, I can picklock.” Puck gently pushed Blaine out of the way.
“Picklock? Why don’t you just knock the door down?” Blaine said desperately.
“I’m in enough trouble at the moment, I don’t want to get into trouble for vandalism.” Puck said honestly, picking the lock and pushing the door open.
Blaine ran into the room and looked around, he couldn’t see Kurt but he did see a cupboard door. “Puck, in there!” And just like the other door it was locked, so Puck unlocked it. Blaine opened the door slowly and saw Kurt lying on the floor in a ball, looking so small and vulnerable. Kurt’s little head looked up at Blaine.
“Blaine?”
Blaine went onto his knees and scooped Kurt up in his arms and hugged him tight. “It’s me, it’s okay, you’re safe now. You’re out, you’re okay.” He said quietly, saying soothing things in Kurt’s ear as Kurt cried in his arms. Finn and the others left the room just leaving them two. “I’m so sorry for hurting you. I never wanted to hurt you, I love you.”
Kurt looked up at Blaine with tear filled eyes, he never expected him to say that and he really sounded like he meant it. “You love me?”
Blaine nodded and smiled a little. “Yeah, I love you.”
“I love you too.” Kurt said back, hugging Blaine and burying his face in Blaine’s chest. He had been in there for many hours and now he was out, he was okay and he had Blaine by his side. Blaine who loved him for him and was there, he came to find him and was now holding him in the way that he had always wanted to be held. “I’m so...”
Blaine put a finger to Kurt’s lips. “No, don’t apologise. I’m really sorry. I know how badly I’ve hurt you and just so you know, that big haired guy who was holding my hand, that was my friend and it wasn’t a date. In fact he was helping me to decide what I should do about you.”
“Me?”
“Yes, you. I knew I loved you, I just keep screwing up.”
“You’re doing pretty well so far, you saved me and you told me you love me. That’s not screwing up.” Kurt smiled a little.
“Would asking you to be my boyfriend screw things up?” Blaine asked hopefully.
“Definitely not, I want to be your boyfriend so badly.” Kurt smiled more, he was so happy now, he and Blaine were together.
Blaine’s smile was huge as he leaned down and kissed his new boyfriend.
