Kurt hadn’t expected to be splashed with his coffee, he looked up at Blaine in shock and horror, the coffee thankfully wasn’t all that hot but this was one of his favourite jackets.
“Kurt... I’m so sorry. I’m sorry. I’ll get that cleaned for you. Please don’t yell.” Blaine pulled his puppy face hoping that Kurt wouldn’t yell, Kurt was too in shock to yell, he just nodded his head and slowly walked into his room.
“I’m sorry, I was just heading out. I have a date.” Blaine said honestly as he leaned into the door frame.
Kurt’s head shot up, that he hadn’t expected, his heart ached but he pretended to look interested and happy for Blaine. He unbuttoned his jacket and took it off, ever so grateful that it hadn’t gone through onto anything or he really would freak. “ A-A date?” He said just to make sure he’d heard right.
“Yeah, with Daniel. So... how do I look? Reckon I’ll get laid by the end of the day?” Blaine joked, Kurt’s face was horrified, he couldn’t believe Blaine said that. Blaine just laughed. “Kurt, I’m joking. I’m at least hoping for a kiss, that’s it.”
“Oh right, yeah I knew that. I hope you get that kiss you want, he’ll be an idiot not to want to.” Kurt smiled a little, he was really hoping that he wouldn’t be kissed but then he did want Blaine to be happy.
“Oh? So does that mean you want to kiss me?” Blaine teased.
“What? No, what?” Kurt was shocked and tried to come up with some kind of response so that Blaine didn’t know that he really did want to kiss him.
“Joke, Kurt. Honestly Kurt, you’re usually the one to send back awesome come backs. You seem distant and you seem to be avoiding me, is everything okay?” Blaine asked seriously as he looked at his best friend with great concern.
“I’m fine, if there was something wrong you’d be the first person I’d go to. I’m fine, Blaine now go on your date. You don’t want to keep Daniel waiting.” Kurt forced a wide smile and practically pushed Blaine out of his room and closed the door. Blaine smiled and nodded, he sped down to the front of the school where Daniel was waiting for him.

Kurt picked up the bag that was under his bed and resumed packing, his secret was that he was transferring back to McKinley, he had to, he missed it so much. He was scared though, scared of what Karofsky could do to him since he probably was furious with Kurt for getting him expelled. He picked up a picture of him and Blaine on the night stand and looked at it with a sad smile, it wouldn’t be long before he was gone. Of course Blaine would still see him and they could hang out and have slumber parties but it wouldn’t be the same. Blaine and Daniel will most likely start dating and Kurt will either be the third wheel or forgotten, he certainly didn’t want that. He heard a knock at his door and went to go and answer it, there stood Oliver, his bright happy face smiling at him.
“Kurt, hi.” Oliver saw the bag over Kurt’s shoulder. “Are you going somewhere?”
“No, no. I’m not going anywhere. Just putting some clothes in there so when I go home I can change them, I don’t fancy wearing the same outfit next weekend.” Kurt laughed a little.
“Is something wrong Kurt? You’ve been avoiding Blaine and he’s really worried.” Oliver let himself in and looked inside Kurt’s bag. “You’re going aren’t you? Leaving?”
Kurt decided that that he could trust Oliver, he was one of his friends. “I am. I’m going back to McKinley.” He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, he knew what was going to come next , Oliver was going to ask why he hadn’t told Blaine yet. “I can’t tell Blaine because he’ll be mad at me, he’ll be mad that I’m going back after what happened.”
“He will be mad, he’ll be furious. He’ll probably not want anything to do with you if you go back whether you tell him or not.” Oliver lied, he knew that wouldn’t happen, he knew that there was no way that Blaine would hate Kurt.
“He’ll hate me? That’s a bit extreme, I can’t lose him but I have to go back. I... I love him Oliver.” Kurt looked Oliver in the eye when he spoke, he had to show him that he was telling the truth.
“I know you do, its so obvious. I know it, Wes knows it, David knows it, all the Warblers know it but Blaine doesn’t feel the same way. He told me he never will.” Kurt’s heart broke a little, Blaine had said that? Well then, no point trying to impress and woo him anymore if he’s going to date Daniel. Oliver was lying, he loved Blaine and he knew that Blaine felt something for Kurt even if he didn’t know it himself yet. Oliver saw the broken hearted look in Kurt’s eyes and felt incredibly satisfied.
“So when are you leaving?” He asked curiously, he wanted Kurt out of the way before Blaine realised his feelings and declared them.
“Soon, I think since you said that Blaine will hate me anyway, I should tell him how I feel.” Kurt played with his hands nervously. “If I don’t tell him then I’ll regret it. If he doesn’t feel the same way then it’ll push me towards moving on.”

Blaine returned from his day out with Daniel, both of them having the best time and just like Blaine wanted, he got a kiss at the end of his date. What he didn’t know was that Kurt was watching, Kurt was going to tell Blaine how he felt but now... now it was pointless. Daniel smiled into the kiss, not feeling Blaine completely and one hundred percent kiss back.
“I really really like you.” Daniel smiled as he kissed his lips again.
“I really really like you too.” Blaine replied with an incredibly large smile. “So does this mean we’re boyfriends?”
“Are you asking?”
“Yes, Daniel will you be my boyfriend?”
“Yes, yes I will.” He smiled and kissed his new boyfriend deeply as Kurt watched them. He didn’t want to watch anymore so he went back to his room. Blaine thought he saw someone, he looked up and saw a person running inside but he couldn’t tell who it was. “Someone was watching us...”
