Kurt and Blaine got ready for Karofsky's funeral, they both felt like they had to go so they could say goodbye and move on from the events that had happened. Well Blaine wanted to go to support Kurt, even though he hated Karofsky with a passion for what he had put them both through. He almost killed Blaine and he risked Kurt's life. Blaine was slightly relieved that he was gone, so he couldn't hurt them anymore. He was also a little grateful because if it wasn't for Karofsky and Burt, then Blaine might not have realised how ready he was for this wedding. God, he wanted to marry Kurt so badly. He and Kurt forever. He and Kurt had been through so much together and now they were getting a chance to be happy and free. With their second NYADA audition just weeks away, they could finally move to New York and get their life started.
Blaine had his hand on Kurt's leg as Kurt drove, they were silent but it wasn't an awkward one. What would they say to Paul Karofsky? "I'm sorry for your loss"? How on earth could Blaine say that about a guy who tried to kill him?
"You don't have to come today if you'd rather not." Kurt said when the reached a red light. He turned to look at Blaine. "I do understand, he wanted to kill you and he could've. I know you want to come to support me but i'll be okay."
"I don't want to leave you baby, i will be with you all the way. I will hold you hand and support you." Blaine smiled.
"You're the best." Kurt smiled.

The funeral itself was really upsetting, well not for Blaine but for everyone else. There were many people there and there were a lot of tears. These people didn't know what he was like, they didn't know the David Karofsky that he and Kurt knew. He heard people say that David was such a sweet boy and that he'd never hurt a fly, that it was a tragedy that he died in such a horrible way. People didn't know what he did, they just thought that he died in a fire, not knowing that he had caused it. Kurt was crying. He felt bad for not helping Karofsky when he needed it, when he was forced to come out. Blaine had been told by Kurt that he could've helped, despite the fact that Karofsky had been torturing him. Blaine had a tight hold on Kurt's hand, his thumb stroking Kurt's skin in heart shaped patterns.
Blaine really didn't want to stay for the wake but Kurt did, he didn't want to stay for long, just a little while. There were pictures of David everywhere. Relatives were crying non stop and Blaine just wanted to shout out what he did, he wanted everyone to know what the boy was really like. He wasn't as sweet as everyone thought of him as, he was horrible and cruel, he was murderous and a stalker.
"Oh dear, my Grandson really liked you." An elderly woman said to Kurt.
"He did?" Kurt was shocked, Blaine could see it clearly on his face.
"Yes, he always said that you were so good, that he wanted to be like you and that he was proud to be your friend." The woman smiled slightly.
"David was not his friend." Blaine said through gritted teeth.
"Excuse me, dear?" The woman said. "My hearing isn't very good, can you repeat it?"
"I said David Karofsky was not our friend!" Blaine said louder.
"Blaine, what are you doing?" Kurt asked.
"Look Kurt, i came here to support you but i can't sit around hearing how the sun shines out of Karofsky's ass! It didn't. He was crazy, there was something seriously wrong with him. He tried to kill you, he tried to kill me. He bullied you through school, made your life hell and he wanted you gone. Then all of a sudden he's in love with you and he wants me out of the way so he can have you. Does that sound like your boy, Mrs. Karofsky?" Blaine shouted.
The elderly woman went pale, there were tears in her eyes and she gripped onto a younger woman. She shook her head in disbelief. "No, that's not my David. It can't have been my David."
"Oh it was your David, ma'am. He was the one who set the fire that killed him. He tried to kill me but ended up killing himself. I hate to destroy the illusion of your perfect Grandson, but he wasn't. He was a very cruel person." Blaine said before leaving the room.
Kurt looked around at the guests who had been staring at them. Paul Karofsky had his head down, Kurt knew that was because he was the only one who knew the truth. "I'm sorry!" Kurt said as he chased after Blaine.

Blaine had walked off towards the car, he was angry and he had let off a lot of steam. He didn't need to hide his feelings about David Karofsky anymore.
"Blaine!" Kurt shouted as he ran up to Blaine. "Are you okay?"
"Just fine, Kurt!" Blaine replied.
"No you're not. Blaine, you didn't have to go. Baby, i understand that you're angry and you hate Karofsky but those people loved David. How would you like it if someone came to my funeral and said things about me that were mean?"
"They would have to think of something mean to say about you first." Blaine smiled a little. "You're impossible to say something bad about, you're actually perfect."
"Oh come on Blaine, i'm totally fabulous but i'm hardly perfect." Kurt blushed.
"You are fabulous and perfect." Blaine's arms wrapped around Kurt's waist. "I'm sorry for exploding like that in there. I just didn't like hearing how "perfect" everyone thought he was."
"Blaine, i do understand. Just next time, try not to yell at the grieving Grandma, okay?" Kurt smiled and wrapped his arms around Blaine's neck.
"Next time a crazy person tries to kill us, i promise not to yell at the grieving Grandma." Blaine smiled.
