Relief washed through Blaine, his heart slowing from the speed it was previously beating. He was incredibly confused, why on earth would Karofsky be in the house? He knew he set it but he had plenty of time to go. But he was so happy that Kurt wasn't dead. He hated it so much that they both had spent so much time in hospital since they had met. How on earth did they graduate? Right from now on, they were going to be safe and move to New York and be happy. Blaine was going to do everything in his power to make sure of it.
"What happened?" Blaine asked. "How did he die?"
"Kurt is resting right now, he hasn't told the whole story. He inhaled a lot of smoke and could've died if he stayed in that building much longer." Burt told him. "What i want to know is, what happened with Karofsky and you?"
"I came home to get Kurt the new overalls and i was only going to be a minute, so i went inside. Karofsky was there and he pushed me to the ground. He had alcohol and he set the place on fire, so i couldn't get up the stairs to escape. He somehow got out and left me down there. Next thing i knew, Kurt was screaming for me and leapt down the stairs to get to me."
"Kurt told me that you two put off getting married for a while." Burt said.
"Yeah, what's that got to do with anything?"
"Don't you see? So many bad things have happened to the pair of you and you got through it, you made it and you're still together. You've survived a car accident, a fire among other things. Don't you think that now is the time to think about getting married?"

Kurt woke up a little while later from his sleep, he yawned and looked around the room. There was no one there, his dad might've been with Blaine and Carole was visiting Finn. It took a minute to remember what happened and that Karofsky was dead. David Karofsky was dead because of him. He felt so guilty for it. He looked over at the door where someone stood. He recognised him. Karofsky's dad.
"Mr. Karofsky?" Kurt said, his voice was rough from the smoke inhalation.
"It's Kurt, isn't it?"
"Yes it is sir." Kurt tried to sit up. "I'm so sorry about David."
"I just don't understand." The older man was crying. "What happened? Why was he at your house?"
"He set the fire sir, he was stalking me and my boyfriend. He... He was gay sir and he was in love with me.He tried to kill my boyfriend." Kurt explained. "I tried to save Blaine but the basement exploded and i hurt my leg. Karofsky came in and saved Blaine, he then came back for me and then the stairs collapsed and he fell through. He managed to get me out of there just in time, otherwise i'd be dead too. He saved me sir."
Mr. Karofsky stood in silence for a few minutes, trying to get his head around everything. His son tried to kill someone, he stalked Kurt and his boyfriend He lost his boy because of his bad ways.
"I'm so sorry Kurt!" Mr. Karofsky continued to cry.
"He was a person in love, i don't think he was a bad person. He just needed help." Kurt pulled his oxygen mask back up, taking a few breaths from it.
"Thank you." Mr. Karofsky left the room.

Burt got Blaine into a wheelchair (since it was hospital policy) and wheeled him to Kurt's room. Both of them smiled widely at the sight of Kurt awake and safe. Blaine grabbed Kurt's hands and kissed them and buried his face in them.
"I'm so glad you're okay, i've been so worried. I thought..." Blaine said.
"Honey, i'm okay. I just inhaled a lot of smoke and i twisted my ankle, i'm okay. Are you okay?" Kurt asked, squeezing Blaine's hands.
"I'm okay, just a little concussion. They want to keep me in over night to make sure i'm okay." Blaine kept kissing Kurt's hands.
"They want to keep me in over night too."
"I'm going to get some coffee, i'll get you boys some too." Burt said before he left the room.
"Karofsky's dad came to see me."
"What did he want?" Blaine asked.
"He wanted to apologise and understand what happened."
"What did happen?"
"Karofsky came back, he found out i was inside and he came back for me. I told him to get you out and he did, he came back to get me and the stairs caved in and he..." Tears slid down Kurt's face.
"You and I are okay, lets just focus on that. Okay baby?" Blaine smiled, he got up and kissed him.
"I love you." Kurt said after kissing back.
"I love you." Blaine smiled more. "I want to marry you, as soon as possible."
"But i thought..."
"Your dad helped me to see. Baby, we've been through so much crap and we survived so isn't that a sign that we should get married as soon as possible?"
"Yeah it is a sign." Kurt smiled. "So we can plan the wedding again?"
"Yeah we can plan the wedding again. No backing out this time, i promise."
Kurt's face lit up and he kissed Blaine deeply, incredibly happy to hear that their wedding was going to happen sooner than they both had thought. Hopefully by this time next year, they will be married and living in New York, finally happy.

Mrs. Anderson arrived at the hospital after hearing that once again, her son had been hurt along with Kurt. Now, it wasn't that she didn't like Kurt. It was the fact that she knew Blaine could do better. Blaine was smart, handsome and incredibly talented. Kurt, however, was very feminine, had a voice of a girl and always seemed to be getting Blaine into danger. Also Kurt took Blaine from her, he came into his life and stole him away. If Kurt had never come into his life, things would be okay. Blaine wouldn't be constantly at the the hospital, he'd be safe. She saw Kurt's dad getting coffee and being Mrs. Anderson, she couldn't help but go over and have words.
"Mr. Hummel?" She said, tapping his shoulder.
"Oh hi Mrs. Anderson," He smiled at her. "Please call me Burt."
"I'd rather not." She said coldly. "What the hell happened to my son?"
"Some kid started stalking them, he put Blaine in the basement and set fire to my house. Kurt and Blaine are okay, the kid that did it is dead."
"Look, i am tired of Blaine ending up in this hospital because of your son. I want Blaine to stay away from Kurt, he deserves to much better. I need you to help me to keep them apart."
