Author's Notes: And here is Finn, finally showing his lazy ass :P
Finn had decided against the army in the end and just hung out with Puck for a while, they both were cleaning pools together and chatting up the ladies like they used to. He had noticed that Rachel had been calling him a lot but he was getting over their break up so he ignored her calls. His mum had called too but he always forgot to call her back. He guessed it wasn’t anything important other than wanting to check in and see how Finn was so he always waited until the next call, which he always ended up missing.
“Hey dude, what’s up?” Puck said, throwing a basketball at Finn to get his attention. “You’re not thinking about Rachel are you?”
“A bit, i mean she keeps calling me and leaving voice messages but we’re over.” He sighed.
“Give me your phone,” Finn gave over the phone before Puck finished his sentence. “So i can hear the sappy messages.” Puck held the phone to his hear and listened as both Carole and Rachel told him about Kurt and Blaine’s accident. “Shit!”
“What is it?” Finn asked.
“You should’ve answered these calls or listened to these messages.” Puck handed back the phone and let Finn listen to the messages.
Finn you really need to call me, please! Kurt and Blaine have had an accident and it’s looking really bad. Please Finn, I know we broke up but your mum can’t get hold of you so I’m trying. Kurt’s in surgery and he could die, Blaine’s heart stopped and they had to restart it. Please Finn, call me or your mum and get your ass to New York
Finn looked at Puck who hugged him. Finn didn’t know what to think, he felt like crap for ignoring the calls and messages because they were really serious.
“I have to go dude. I’ll call you.” Finn told his bro before running off.

Carole kept trying to get in contact with Finn but little did she know, he was on the plane coming to see them so she couldn’t get through to him. She and Burt were trying to work out how to tell Kurt that Mrs. Anderson had planned for Blaine to go back to Ohio with her. This already meant that Blaine couldn’t go to NYADA this year; he’d have to try again the next year. Kurt might not be able to go to NYADA either, he might not be healed enough and get straight into vigorous training. But Kurt couldn’t lose both Blaine and NYADA, that’d be too much for him. No one had been in to see Blaine since he kicked everyone out, Kurt was very quiet too and that worried both Carole and Burt.
“Kurt?” Burt said as he walked back into the room, Carole following him. “There’s something we need to tell you.”
“Oh god what now?” Kurt wiped his eyes and looked at his dad. “Is it Blaine? What’s wrong?”
“Blaine’s mum wants to take him back to Ohio and get him some private help.” Burt said, patting his son’s shoulder.
“She’s taking him away from me? No! She can’t do that! Please don’t let her take him from me. I need him and he needs me, please. I love him so much.” Kurt began crying again.
“We’re trying really hard to stop her but I don’t think she’ll let up. I’m sorry buddy. It also all depends on what he wants.” Burt leaned down and hugged his son, not noticing Carole slip out of the room and head towards Blaine’s room.

“Did you like Ohio?” Carole asked, walking into Blaine’s room making him look up at her and shook his head. “Would you go back and live there?” Another shake. “Then you need to tell your mum because she wants to take you back there. She wants to give you private treatment. I think she’s very sweet wanting private treatment but why can’t she do that in New York? You need to be with Kurt and he needs you. Don’t let her part you two, you’ve been through too much together.”
“She wants me to leave Kurt here? I can’t do that. I know it’ll be hard but I still want to be with Kurt, if he wants to be with me. I love Kurt and I want to stay with him. If he wants to go back to Ohio then I’ll go with him and then it’ll be easier but if he wants to stay here then I will. He’s worked so hard to get here and I don’t want him giving up on his dreams for me.”
“As long as he has you, he’ll have what he wants. Just don’t let your mother tear you two apart, please. You can go back to Ohio if you want, but talk to Kurt about it before you do. He might not even be able to go to NYADA this year because he won’t be able to get right in and do the nitty gritty stuff. Please don’t let him lose you too; he wouldn’t be able to take losing you.” Carole smiled and leaned over Blaine, kissing his head.

Finn arrived at the hospital hours later and asked the receptionist where he’d find Kurt Hummel, once he was told where to go he ran all the away there. He got to the ward and looked around.
“Mum!” He shouted, looking in the rooms for her. “Carole Hummel-Hudson!”
Carole popped her head out of one of the rooms and saw Finn, her face lit up and she hugged him tight. “Finally! What took you so long to get here?”
“I didn’t get yours or Rachel’s messages until a few hours ago. Is he okay? How’d the surgery go? He is alive?”
“Yeah he’s alive and the surgery went well thankfully, it saved his life. He has a few stitches on his face and on other parts of his body, he had a piece of glass in his side that they had to remove but other than that, he’s doing well. Blaine on the other hand has had a few more problems, he has a fractured spine and will need to be in a wheelchair for a while until it heels and then he’ll have to learn to walk again.”
“Oh sh- man! I’m so sorry that I wasn’t here earlier.”

This was really good. I am so glad that Carole went to talk to Blaine so he wouldn't be surprised when his mom tried to take him away. It was also nice to see Blaine say that he wanted to stay with Kurt no matter what. I can't wait to see what happens next.
