Author's Notes: Contains flashbacks!
Blaine lay staring at the ceiling with Mandy on his chest. She was staring at him and swirling her fingers in hearts. He felt so sick and so guilty and he couldn’t stop thinking about Kurt. What would Kurt say if he found out that he was here with a girl? He wanted to be sick because he felt so bad.
“It’s okay baby, it happens. We’ll try again some other time.” Mandy smiled and kissed Blaine.
They never had sex. They got down to their underwear, touched each other and Mandy was trying to get Little Blaine up but it didn’t work. Blaine wasn’t turned on in any way. He didn’t want this, he would rather do this with Kurt but he knew he couldn’t for two reasons: His dad and his popularity. But this girl in the bed took one thing from him. His first kiss. The kiss that he wanted so badly to share with Kurt, well in all fairness, he kind of did. His remembered one night not that long ago when he was sleeping round Kurt’s.

“Blaine! You can’t sleep in my bed. It’s my bed!” Kurt giggled as Blaine tried to fight him for the bed. Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt and picked him up, putting him gently on the floor before jumping into Kurt’s bed. He looked down at Kurt with a grin to see Kurt with a pout on his kissable lips. He thought it was so adorable. He pulled back the covers and Kurt quickly jumped in beside him.
Kurt snuggled down against the pillow and smiled up at Blaine. “Thank you for letting me back in my bed. I suppose because you were kind, I should let you stay here with me.”
“Yay!” Blaine cheered, snuggling down too.
“Goodnight Blaine.”Kurt’s eyes closed and within minutes he fell asleep.
“Goodnight Kurt. I love you.” Blaine whispered the last three words but knew that Kurt didn’t hear him because he was asleep. He leaned forward and kissed Kurt’s lips softly. Times like this would be the only times when he could kiss Kurt. He would never be able to kiss him while awake. Kurt was the first person and boy that he had ever kissed.

Kurt lay in his bed, dressed in the pajamas that Blaine had left behind from the last time he slept over. He missed Blaine so much. His heart hurt to think that Blaine was happier without him being his friend. He thought about what Blaine was doing now and felt a tear run down his cheek. He stopped thinking about it and started thinking about the last time Blaine slept round.

Blaine was so cute when he picked Kurt up and put him on the floor. It was something cute and what he’d love to do with a boyfriend. If he did that with a boyfriend, he’d lean over and kiss him before doing something silly for a punishment. But Blaine was his best friend, he’d never want to be anything more. Ever. Once Blaine had let him back in his bed, Kurt snuggled down and smiled at Blaine before getting sleepy. After he said goodnight, Kurt fell asleep after hearing Blaine say goodnight back, he heard a whisper but not quite hearing what he said.
A few hours later, Kurt awoke and saw Blaine sleeping close beside him, one arm draped over Kurt and holding onto his waist and his head close to Kurt’s. Kurt smiled sleepily. He leaned forward and kissed Blaine’s lips softly.
“I love you.” He whispered before falling back to sleep.

“I should go.” Blaine said, getting out of bed and picked up his clothes. He put them on quickly and grabbed his bag.
“Okay, sweetie. Oh Blaine?” Mandy asked, getting up and slipping a robe on.
“Yeah?”
“This does make you my boyfriend, right?” She asked, leaning against his firm, sexy chest.
“Yeah of course.” Blaine forced a large smile and kissed her deeply, the way he would with Kurt.
“Great! I’ll update my facebook and I’ll see you tomorrow. You can let yourself out.”

Kurt had moved to the window because he couldn’t sleep, he was looking out of it so he could try and see Blaine through the window. They usually opened the windows and just talked to each other but Blaine’s light was off and curtains were open. Just as he was about to move, he saw Blaine getting out of his car, he looked scruffy. His shirt was untucked and he was sure that he saw Blaine doing up the zip to his pants. His heart raced and he leaned forward to see Blaine looking around nervously before looking up at Kurt’s window. He could’ve sworn he saw a flash of heartbreak across Blaine’s face but it was gone in a second. Where had Blaine been? Who had Blaine been with? All Kurt knew was that this person was so important to Blaine, more important than a best friend. If Blaine would even still call Kurt his best friend.

“Blaine? Is that you?” Blaine heard as soon as he walked in the door. It was his mother, calling from the living room where she was sat with a glass of wine while watching cookery shows. “Oh hi, darling!”
“Hey mum.” Blaine smiled back, sitting down next to her.
“Where’ve you been?”
“With... With my new girlfriend.” Blaine said. He saw a look across his mothers face but couldn’t quite place it.
“Girlfriend? That’s great, honey!” His mother smiled widely, kissing his cheek. Dianna and Elizabeth had talked about Blaine years ago, they had a feeling that he was gay and they could both see how Kurt felt about Blaine. Even today, Dianna knew that Kurt was in love with Blaine but she thought that Blaine loved him too. She was happy that Blaine had a girlfriend, she was happy as long as her son was. It was just that she thought Kurt and Blaine would get together. “What’s her name?”
“Mandy. She’s a cheerleader. She’s pretty, smart and blonde.”
“You should invite her to dinner. Oh and you should invite Kurt was well, he is your best friend after all.”
“Invite Kurt? Why?”
“You don’t see much of him anymore because you’re so busy. You should spend more time with him. He is your best friend.”
“Mum, me and Kurt, we’re drifting apart. I’m with the football guys and he’s with the glee kids. The football guys hate the glee kids and as much as I love Kurt, I can’t constantly protect him. I had to make a choice between him and my football and friends.”
Dianna smiled when she heard Blaine say that he loved Kurt, she wasn’t sure which kind he meant though. Loved him as a friend or love as in romantic love. But her smile faded when she heard what he said next, unable to believe that Blaine did such a thing. “You chose between the boy you’ve known since you were born and the guys you’ve known for a couple of years? That’s not the boy I raised.”
“Well the boy you raised has gone, he grew up!” Blaine shouted before standing up and leaving room, shouting down to say goodnight.
