The time had come now for them to audition for NYADA, they had practised hard and they did it every day. They both were incredible but they were still worried about their chances. They sat in the seats of the auditorium and waited for their names to be called.
"Kurt Hummel." She called. Kurt looked at Blaine with a terrified look before getting up.
"Good luck!" Blaine whispered to him. "I love you."
Kurt walked up to the stage and got on it, standing in its centre. He made a speech to Carmen Tibideaux before getting himself ready. He began his number, tearing off his pants and winking at Blaine. His singing voice was just so damn sexy, Blaine thought. Blaine shifted uncomfortably in his seat, thinking about what he wanted to do to Kurt before realising that he had to stop because he was performing next. If he didn't stop, he'd go on stage with a huge boner which would amuse Kurt but not Carmen Tibideaux. He focused on Kurt's amazing performance and was so proud of him, even more so when he heard Carmen praise his love. Blaine knew that Kurt's performance was so much better, he had a lot more in his but Blaine's was just him standing on the stage and singing. He had no dancing but it was an emotional piece so he didn't need dancing. When his turn came, he sang a song about love and kept his eyes on Kurt and telling him that it was for him. He could see Kurt's eyes were full of love, pride and happiness. He didn't get the impressive comments that Kurt had done but he could just tell that Carmen liked it. He couldn't explain how he knew, but he just did. When Rachel performed, both he and Kurt were completely shocked when she choked. It was so un-Rachel of her and they were both worried that she would not get it because of this.

After school, Blaine took Kurt to the Lima Bean where they could just relax after their stressful day. They held hands over the table and just talked, which they loved to do. They had plans to watch their tv shows together that evening and study together. Everything was great until Blaine had to use the bathroom, leaving Kurt alone.
"Hey Kurt." Kurt looked up to see Blade standing behind him.
"Oh hi." Kurt replied. "How are you?"
"Honestly? A bit pissed that you didn't call. I really wanted you too, pretty boy." Blade said as he started stroking Kurt's hair, but Kurt moved his head to stop him.
"I have a boyfriend." Kurt told him, this guy was really annoying him.
"So? You still could've called. Boyfriends mean nothing to me." Blade told him.
"But they mean everything to me. Look, i love my boyfriend and i honestly don't want you. I don't want a thing that means nothing and that's purely sex. I'd really hate that. Now leave me alone." Kurt got up and went to find Blaine in the bathroom but Blade caught his arm.
"You aren't going anywhere, you took my number so you owe me a date." Blade said.
"I owe you nothing!" Kurt snapped back. "Now let me go, you jerk!"
"Pretty boy has a temper. Come on gorgeous, lets party back at my place. I can show you what you're missing."
"Leave me alone!"
"Leave him alone, asshole!" Blaine came up behind Blade, his fists clenched.
Blade turned round and saw Blaine, he burst out laughing when he looked at him. "Look who's come to help pretty boy, its Mighty Mouse."
"I said, leave him alone." Blaine repeated. "He's mine."
"Oooh possessive, aren't we?"
"He is my boyfriend and you are going to let him go now."
What happened next was so fast, that Kurt couldn't quite understand what was going on. Blade punched Blaine and then Blaine punched back. Kurt stood between the boys and looked at Blaine's cut lip, he leaned forward and kissed it gently.
"Thank you for coming to my rescue." Kurt said quietly. He got their stuff together and the two of them left.
"Who the hell was that?" Blaine asked, holding his handkerchief to his lip.
"The guy i told you about, the one that asked me out on a date and gave me his number."
"That was the guy that reminded you of me?"
"Only his name and looks." Kurt opened the passenger side door so Blaine could climb in. "You're sweeter, kinder and just more amazing."
"So what was his name then?"
"Blade."
Blaine laughed then wince at his split lip. "Blade? Seriously?!"
"I know right?" Kurt laughed with him.

They got home and got something for Blaine's lip, Kurt sat and held it there while they had a silent conversation. Kurt's spare hand held Blaine's and stroked it. Kurt lifted the hand that punched Blade and kissed his knuckles, knowing that the hand must've hurt from the punch.
"Are you okay?" Kurt asked Blaine.
"I'm fine, my lip will heal and i have you." Blaine smiled but winced. "Did he hurt you?"
"Just grabbing my arm but i'm okay, i don't think i'll bruise and i have you." Kurt smiled back. "My poor baby, look at your lip. Do you want me to kiss it better?"
Blaine nodded so Kurt pulled the cloth down and kissed Blaine's lips. He hated that Blaine got punched because he was defending Kurt, but he also thought it was heroic and awesome.
"You were so brave." Kurt told Blaine.
"I just wanted to protect you from that asshole. I hated that he was upsetting you. I also hate that he asked you out."
"I never called him." Kurt said. "I didn't want to. The only person i wanted to call was you. So i came to see you."
"I love you, Kurt."
"I love you too."
"You are so going to get into NYADA." Blaine smiled.
"Well you were so incredibly, i think you will."
"Lets hope that we both will." Blaine squeezed Kurt's hand. "But we need to make a plan in case we don't."
"That's a good idea."
