“What are you doing here?” Kurt asked, practically spitting at him.
“I came to apologise. I am so sorry for what I said. You’re my best friend and you being gay doesn’t change who you are. It’s not like you’re in love with me.”
Kurt bit his lip and tried to hide his blush. He was so in love with Blaine but to hear Blaine talk like that, told him that Blaine was straight. That Blaine would never be interested in him like that and he would have to watch Blaine kissing girls. “I’m not quitting glee. It’s the only thing that makes me happy when you’re off with the football guys.”
“I’m trying to stop you from being bullied but if you want to be in glee, I might not be able to stop it.”
“Then don’t. I can take care of myself. Cone on, let’s get to school.”
Blaine knew that Kurt wasn’t fully able to take care of himself but if Kurt wasn’t going to leave glee then he would have to put up with it. He couldn’t defend himself against someone beating him up, Kurt was so skinny and defenceless that Blaine had no idea how he hadn’t broken a bone yet.
“Yo! Blaine!” Blaine turned round and saw Puck and some of the football guys coming towards him. Next to him, Kurt tensed up and gripped onto the strap of his bag.
“Oh hey guys!” Blaine smiled. “I’ll see you later Kurt.” He said before walking away, making Kurt sigh and walk in the opposite direction.
“Why do you hang out with that loser anyway?” Azimio asked with a laugh, looking back at Kurt.
“He’s not a loser.”
“He’s in glee. Only fags join glee and he, my friend, is a fag. I feel uncomfortable even sharing a locker room with him, I always feel like he’s going to stare at my junk.” Karofsky shuddered.
“He’s... He’s not like that.” Blaine mumbled.
“I know you’re trying to protect him dude but come on, he being in glee isn’t good. You have to either cut him off or you can’t be friends with us.” Puck gave Blaine a tough ultimatum. Blaine didn’t know what to do.
“We need to talk, it’s important. Meet me after school at my house.” Kurt read that text over and over for what felt like hours but what was in fact a few minutes. He didn’t know what Blaine wanted to talk about and he was scared. Blaine was his best friend in the whole world and despite being crazy in love with him, he was willing to shove his feelings aside and just be the best friend’s that they were. After school, Kurt walked home since he couldn’t find Blaine to drive him. Blaine had taken him in his car so he had no ride. He was thinking about what Blaine could possibly want to talk to him about that it had to be at home. When he got home, he went straight to Blaine’s like he was asked to. Kurt knocked on the door and waited for an answer, which happened almost straight away.
“Kurt, come in.” Blaine said with no smile on his face. Kurt stepped inside and followed Blaine up to his room. Kurt loved Blaine’s room; it was green and well decorated with polo pictures and cameras that Blaine was given because of his love of photography. Blaine sat on the chair and pointed for Kurt to sit on the bed. “Thanks for coming.”
“No problem. So, what’s this about?”
“We can’t be friends an...” Blaine started but was cut off by Kurt.
“What do you mean we can’t be friends anymore? We’ve been friends since we were born! We’ve always been best friends. From cradle to grave you said!” Kurt’s eyes were filled with angry tears; he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
“If you had waited instead of shouting your mouth off, you would’ve heard me say at school we can’t be friends. I don’t want to stop being friends with you but at school, when people see you with me, it’s like a joke. I can’t have my new rep being brought down and defend you time and time again, but it’s not helping me!”
“You... I can’t believe this. You don’t want to be seen with me because I bring your new status down? You’re ashamed to be seen with me. What happened to you? You used to be so sweet and kind and you never cared about who your friends were. Those “friends” you have now, were the ones you defended me from several times in middle school.” Kurt shouted. “I hardly recognise you anymore.”
“You’re still my best friend. You will always be my best friend, Kurt. We can hang out after school and we can do all the fun stuff we usually do, here in the house.”
“So this home friends thing only extends to our houses?! We can’t be seen anywhere in public together? Before this year, we’d never fought and you had never hurt me but this year, you’ve hurt me so bad.” Kurt stood up and walked to Blaine’s door. “Bye Blaine.”
Kurt and Blaine did exactly what Blaine had suggested for the rest of their sophomore year. They just couldn’t be parted and their secret love for each other didn’t help either of them. Kurt thought that the next year things couldn’t get worse, only better. How wrong was he going to be?

Awws... poor Kurt. =( No offence to Blaine but I woulda said screw you and enjoy your new friends. =P
He really should but he's in love with him, he's known him since birth and they're neighbours so he kinda doesn't want to let him go
