Author's Notes: Contains two flashbacks
Blaine had a really good day hanging out with Finn, Puck and Mike, especially at lunch when he was with Kurt and all the glee people. Rachel was being her annoying self but it was tolerable and it was better than having to sit by himself and have people make comments at him. He sat quietly for a minute just thinking about what it would’ve been like if he didn’t choose popularity over his best friend, if he had joined glee with him. He might’ve got bullied like Kurt but he would’ve had Kurt and he wouldn’t have broken his loves heart. He remembered everything that Kurt had gone through, especially the Karofsky stuff which then reminded him that nothing got sorted out with that. It also made him wonder if Karofsky had tried anything else with Kurt, he would have to ask later.
“Are you okay?” Kurt asked, noticing his boyfriend had gone off into his own world.
Blaine shook out of his thoughts and smiled at his boyfriend, leaning over and kissing his cheek. “I’m great thanks.”
“I know you’re great, I was asking because you’re quiet.” Kurt smiled.
“I was just thinking about things.” Blaine said honestly.
“What things?” Kurt asked, not sure whether to be worried or not.
“I can’t really talk about it here in front of them, it’s something private.”
“Are you breaking up with me? If you are then just do it now because I won’t be able to wait the rest of the day to find out.” Kurt said quietly.
Blaine saw Kurt’s eyes glaze over and took his hand; he had no plans to ever break up with Kurt. “I’m not breaking up with you, I promise. I just have something I need to ask you regarding a certain person and situation, I am not breaking up with you and I never have any plans to ever do that.”
Kurt wiped his teary eyes and smiled, incredibly relieved to hear that Blaine wasn’t breaking up with him. “I don’t ever want to break up with you either.”
“I have loved you for as long as I can remember so I am going to keep you for as long as I can; I am going to fight so hard to keep this relationship going and make it strong.” Blaine intertwined his fingers with Kurt’s, his other hand stroking Kurt’s cheek. “Come on, let’s go and sit in one of the classrooms so we can have a little quiet time.”

Blaine stood up, still holding Kurt’s hand and led him away from the New Directions and to an empty classroom. He pulled out a chair for Kurt to sit in before sitting in a chair next to him.
“So if you’re not breaking up with me, what is it?” Kurt asked nervously.
“I wanted to talk to you about Karofsky.” Blaine said, feeling and watching Kurt tense up at the name. “I wanted to make sure that he hadn’t been doing anything to you.”

“Hey fag!” Karofsky said as he pushed Kurt up against the lockers in the hallway. “So you haven’t opened your mouth yet, that’s good to know. You know that if you do, then I’ll kill you. I mean it faggot, one word and you’re done.”

Kurt swallowed hard and shook his head, but Blaine could tell that he was lying. He didn’t want Kurt to lie to him but he couldn’t force him to tell him what happened. He just needed Kurt to know that he could talk to him whenever he wanted.
“Kurt, you know you can tell me anything that’s what I’m here for. You can trust me and I just want you to talk to me when you need to.”
“He threatened me.” Kurt whispered, hoping that Blaine didn’t hear him.
“He threatened you? When? What did he say?”
“It was after he tried to... he wanted me to keep quiet and not tell anyone. He said if I did then...” He paused.
“Go on.”
“He said he’d kill me.”
Blaine got up off of his chair and began marching out of the room; Kurt jumped up and ran after him, going in front and blocking his way. “Please Blaine; if you confront him then he’ll know I said something. I don’t want to die, please Blaine.” He gripped onto Blaine’s shirt, looking at Blaine with scared, tear filled eyes.
“What do you expect me to do Kurt? Let him scare you and continue to win? He tried to rape you and I knew about it but I didn’t stop him or confront him. I can’t watch him terrify you and not do anything. I won’t let him kill you and neither will the school.”
“The school? You want me to report him!? Blaine, are you joking? They won’t take me seriously and they won’t do anything because it was months ago. There is nothing I can do about him because he’ll hurt me and no one will believe me. I’m scared Blaine and every time he walks past me; i’m terrified he’ll hit me as well as pushing me into the lockers.”

“FAG!” Karofsky came up behind Kurt and pushed him face first into the lockers before grabbing his waist and forcing him round. Their faces were close together and Kurt shook, he thought his legs were going to buckle. Kurt felt Karofsky’s nose along his neck and into his hair before he inhaled sharply. “I almost fucked you once Hummel, I will try again. You have no one; you might as well give in to me.”

“Why do I think there’s something else you’re not telling me?” Blaine asked with a lot of concern in his voice. “Kurt! You need to tell me.”
“He said that he failed once and that he’ll do it again. He said that I have no one so I might as well give into him.” Kurt said quietly, looking down and releasing Blaine’s shirt. After hearing that Blaine walked away.
