The screeches of the brakes in the night were like some TV dream. The kidnappers sped up when they got into the road behind the woods. What were they planning on doing to this girl? Blaine thought to himself. If they were planning on a murder out in the woods then they’d be wrong, Blaine was going to save her. Cooper followed the car’s every move, he too sped up but with a vampires vision he could see very clearly, unlike a human in the night everything is dark. The kidnapper’s car stopped outside a building, Blaine wasn’t sure what it was, it looked like some kind of asylum. The place had an eerie feel to it. The building was being held up by scaffolding and the painted white walls were chipped and cracked. One of the kidnappers got out of the car he was very large, scary large like he had played some kind of sport. The boys weren't sure whether it was fat or muscle, maybe more muscle. When Cooper was human, he was strong but this man was double the size. He had a full head of hair and it was a hazel colour. He opened the boot of the car and looked inside he called for his friend to come over, but Blaine didn’t catch his name. The second man was shorter than the other, he wasn't a lot slimmer. This man had a good set of muscles, he was black and looked quite scary. His hair was much shorter than the other mans, he didn't really have any hair. They lifted the girl out of the car who had woken up, her head had been bleeding, and Blaine and Cooper could smell it. The girl was kicking and trying to scream. Blaine and Cooper parked their car on the outskirts of the building so they weren’t seen. They took a long route round to the house by running through the woods.
Lucky for Blaine and Cooper, the men had left the door open so they could get in without being heard or seen. The wallpaper had been torn off and the floor boards had great holes in, something bad happened here, Blaine could sense it. They stood outside the door where the men and girl were, they weren’t so lucky this time, the men locked it and bolted it from the inside.
“What’s the plan?” Blaine whispered.
“Improvise?” Cooper said unsure.
“Good plan.” Blaine said.
“That’s your plan? That sucks” said a voice from behind them.
It was a girl; she was small with blonde hair which came halfway down her neck, her face was kind and very, very beautiful.
“Who are you?” Cooper asked dazed.
“I’m Quinn, who are you and what are you doing here?” Quinn asked coldly.
“I’m Cooper and this is Blaine. We saw this girl get kidnapped and we’re trying to save her.” Cooper said.
“You’re trying to save her even though you don’t know her?” Quinn asked surprised.
“Yes.” Blaine replied.
“Why?”
“Because we hate kidnaps? Why would we just leave her here?” Blaine said confused. “Do you know her?”
“Yes as a matter of fact, she’s my sister.” Quinn revealed.
Cooper and Blaine looked at each other in shock. That made sense. Blaine liked Quinn as he realised they were both trying to accomplish the same thing, save their kidnapped loved one. Quinn pushed Blaine out of the way.
“Apriam!” She whispered to the door handle.
The door clicked, it was unlocked. Cooper’s mouth fell open, Blaine knocked it shut.
“You-Your-You’re a witch?” Cooper stuttered.
“Yes.” Quinn smiled.
Blaine remembered the witches that they were following. “We were following some witches earlier, maybe you could tell us about them.”
Just as he asked they heard a petrified scream coming from one of the back rooms.
Quinn ran through the open door to the next door which again was locked but they had to be careful for the kidnappers were right on the other side of the door.
“Well we can help you know since you’re a witch we can tell you our secret, we’re vampires.” Cooper revealed.
“You know it was kind of obvious. Well other vampires can tell who is a vampire and who isn’t.” Quinn said as she examined the door.
“Other vampires? You’re a vampire? No you’re not, you’re a witch.” Blaine was even more confused that he had been a minute ago.
“I’m a half vampire, they never finished turning, so i have half the strength of the abilities you have. I’m not a blood witch I’m trained, i was specially chosen. I’m on a mission, well first i have to save my sister and then continue on my mission.” Quinn said in strain as she was using her powers to figure out what was on the other side of the door.
Quinn looked through the key hole of the door and saw the two men inside. On the floor was her sister, all dirty and covered in dry blood. She saw the men ask about her something and when her sister didn’t answer they beat her.
“Where is he?” of the men shouted.
“I don’t know who you’re talking about.” she cried.
The bigger of the two men grabbed a wooden stake and stick it through her left hand. The girl screamed and cried in agony, blood poured from her hand.
“We have to do something now! They are torturing her, sticking stakes into her limbs when she doesn’t give them the answer they want.” Quinn panicked.
“Where is Karl Henderson?” the other man shouted.
“I don’t know, please i don’t know anything.” the girl cried.
A thud came from the room, sounded like a punch. Blaine looked through the keyhole and saw blood pour from her mouth. The girl looked awful, her eyes were blackened and so were her arms. Quinn pushed Blaine out of the way and shouted “Apriam!” at the door. They ran through the door as they were sticking a second stake into her, this time it was her right hand and they were licking the blood, savouring every taste. The girl took one look at her sister and fell unconscious.
