With Cooper’s harsh words in mind Blaine goes home with the beautiful Luke and at the end of the night both boys are filled with regret.
Blaine realised what he was doing before he tore off his and Luke’s clothes. He stopped and looked around and then at Luke. “What am I doing? I’m so sorry, I’m so stupid.” Blaine said shocked and disgusted with himself, stumbling to the door.
“What is it? Did I do something wrong?” Luke asked confused and hurt that Blaine didn’t seem to want him now. He thought this guy was nice and hot and he was hoping that this might lead to something more for them. A relationship, maybe.
“No it wasn’t you; it was me. I shouldn’t be here. I’m sorry!” Blaine called running out of the house as fast he could, trying not to knock anything over. He had promised himself he wouldn’t touch another guy after Kurt and he was just rowing with Cooper about it. How could he be so stupid? He thought to himself. Blaine heard a voice calling him which made him stop and turn around, he saw Luke running after him. He would’ve used vampire speed but he couldn’t blow it, he couldn’t risk being caught because that way, he’d never get to save his beloved Kurt.
“Blaine, wait!” Luke shouted, concerned about this guy and partly wondering why Blaine didn’t want him.
“Look, I’m sorry Luke, you’re a lovely guy but I have to go really, I’m sorry.” Blaine shouted back about to start running again since he didn’t want to discuss why he couldn’t go through with sleeping with him, losing his virginity to him. A vampire sleeping with a human was different from human to human sex, it was a lot more rougher and there was a lot of biting as Cooper had proven with his previous encounters. Blaine felt a hand on his shoulder and he stopped.
“Blaine, what’s going on?” Luke asked, he wasn’t angry or snapping, he seemed calm and comforting.
“Nothing, I’m sorry I realised that I was late to something.” Blaine tried to convince him.
“No you weren’t late to something, come back with me and talk about it, no sex I promise.” Luke said kindly. He took Blaine's arm and pulled him back to the house. He sat him down on the sofa where they just were.
“What’s going on Blaine? No guy has ever looked so guilty to me” Luke asked, He took his hand and held it so softly. His hand was so warm and his was so cold so he tried to warm them with his own. “Your hand is so cold.”
“Sorry for running out earlier for you see I have fiance.” Blaine said softly, guilty running through him like a flood bursting through a door.
“A fiance? Why were you here if you have a fiance?” Luke was confused, why would someone be there if they were getting married? He was cold and sad and there was something strange about him.
“Well he was kidnapped and I was trying to find him, I’ve been looking for a long time actually and not a clue. I saw you and you were just a moment of weakness, I’m sorry.” Blaine tried not to cry, he was close but he refused to let some stranger see him cry.
“Hey don’t apologise, what’s his name?”
“Kurt, Kurt Hummel.”
“Nice name, what did he look like?”
“He was the most beautiful thing on this earth, with the face of an angel. His hair was the softest thing I had ever touched, it was a nice brown and you could just run your hand through it. He is like a delicate angel; his eyes were like a lake that just hypnotise you when you look into them.” He smiled without realising it, just by describing him and picturing him in his head. He was the most beautiful person in the entire world to Blaine and no person or view could ever change that.
“He sounds beautiful, how long has he been gone?”
“100 years.” Blaine said without thinking.
“Feels that long when some goes missing, every day is like a year to you, he’ll be back to you in no time. Blaine good luck” Luke said thoughtfully, giving Blaine a hug and let him leave.
It was late in the night when Blaine returned to the bed and breakfast. He had been gone for 4 hours and Cooper was worried.
“Where the bloody hell have you been?” Cooper shouted. “I’ve been worried about you”
“Why should you be worried about me? After all you’ve given up on my fiance, so why should you still hang with me?” Blaine snapped.
“Blaine just think about what you’ve just said, I don’t think you meant it.”
“I’m sorry Cooper; i just did something i regret. I went home with a boy from the town and almost had sex with him.” Blaine sighed and slumped down on the bed, a hand on his face and berating himself in his head.
“Well mate that’s good, you’re moving on...”
“No I’m not it was a moment of weakness, i was hurt by what you said and he was there i guess.”
“I am sorry for saying it, i regret it. i know how much it hurt you, but you do realise he’s not alive Blaine. He’s dead.”
“I know Cooper i know; i just don’t want to accept it.”
“I know you don’t, mate.”
“If i just knew what happened to him then i can settle, but I’m still going to find out what happened to him with or without you.” Blaine said, getting up off the bed grabbing his stuff.
“You’re not going anyway without me, we made a deal.”
“Yes the deal was i turned you so we both could go and find him, but he’s dead so you’re going to stop looki...” Blaine stopped what he was saying and thought of something he should have thought of 100 years ago. “What if he’s a vampire? Why haven’t we thought of this before?” Blaine began laughing. “He could be alive, and then we could find him.”
“He could be, but he might not be.”
“Yes but it still gives us hope, i know you think why would they kidnap him just to turn him but it’s just a possibility.” Blaine was excited about this new thought, so excited that it kept him up a little while longer after Cooper fell asleep.
