“Rotchdale? As in the city? Are you sure you saw right?” Quinn asked shocked, Emma nodded and Cooper sighed, putting his head in his hands. “Well we’d better go if we want to make it there before dawn.”
Quinn got up and near enough ran out of the house as Cooper got up to leave, Emma reached out for his arm.
“Feed now or there will be severe consequences.” she warned.
Cooper followed Quinn to the car and jumped in.
“You okay to drive?” Quinn asked, concerned about the very little blood intake that Cooper had had.
“Yeah course, you sleep we won’t be there until one at the earliest. I’ll wake you when we get there promise.” Cooper smiled as he sped off. Quinn lay down stretched on all the back seats with one seat belt on.

Cooper was normally very good at driving but tonight he felt different. He had been driving now for about an hour and a half when Cooper began to feel tired. His eyes began to close and his body felt weak, he kept trying to force his eyes open but his eyes wouldn’t allow it. There was a smash and Cooper awoke startled. He face was covered in glass; he gently pulled each piece out with a wince, and saw that the car had crashed. He climbed out of the broken window as the door had jammed and saw the car squashed together. He examined himself to make sure there was no wood inside of him at all. Then he remembered.
“Quinn!” he shouted running to what was left of the back of the car, he peered through the window and saw her underneath the front seats. “Oh my god! Quinn!”
He ripped the door of the front off and then the back, he couldn’t get to her as he saw the seats were crushing her. He managed to grab her hands and check for a pulse, he found a very faint one. He tried to pull the seats off Quinn but he was too weak, he needed to feed. He saw smoke coming from the other side of the trees, he decided to follow it and see where it was coming from. It wasn’t far so he didn’t need to run, but he found a small house, cabin like and inside was a man who looked middle aged sleeping in a chair. Cooper opened the door and snuck in, he crept up to the man and with his fangs that were already out he lunged in to the man. He bit and sucked the neck, blood trickled down the mans neck and his eyes shot open. Cooper had finished and he grabbed the man’s head and looked into his eyes.
“You were attacked by an animal.” Cooper said.
“I was attacked by an animal.” the man repeated.

Cooper ran back to Quinn, it only took a couple of seconds as he was now fed and full so his powers were back. He threw the car seats out of the car with ease; he grabbed Quinn gently and pulled her out of the car. Cooper examined her; he found a couple of broken ribs and suspected she probably was bleeding internally.
“Quinn, can you hear me?” Cooper said as he freaked out, he bit his arm until it trickled blood and held it to her mouth. Blood began to drip into her mouth until she began to suck on his arm then blood flowed like a river. “That’s enough now Quinn.”
Quinn’s eyes opened and she sat up wincing for a minute then the pain stopped.
“What the bloody hell happened?” Quinn croaked.
“We crashed.” Cooper muttered.
“I can see that you fool, what happened? How did we crash?” Quinn snapped.
“You and Emma were right i should have fed, i got weak and fell asleep at the wheel.” Cooper said shamefully.
“You fell asleep?! You complete ass, you're so stupid!” Quinn shouted as she slapped his face hard. “If you were weak you should have told me and i would have taken over, i could have died!”
“I know that, you don’t know how bad i feel, i almost lost you and i knew i had to save you.” Cooper said quietly.
“Yes i am grateful you saved me but you are a damn fool you know.” Quinn said turning and walking away.
“Where are you going?” Cooper called after her.
“Somewhere where i can sort myself out” Quinn shouted back.
“Well you need to wipe the blood from your mouth first.”
Quinn used her sleeve to mop the blood away as Cooper ripped open the crushed boot of the car. He pulled out the bags and threw them over his shoulder.
“Look come here, i can get you to the next town faster.” Cooper said walking to Quinn.
“I thought you were weak?” Quinn asked curiously.
“I was when we crashed and when i wasn’t strong enough to lift the seat off you i went to feed”
“But there isn’t anything to feed from round here”
“That’s where you’re wrong Quinn, there was a cabin over there and i fed from the man in that. I’m faster come on hold on to me and I’ll take you to the next town, we’ll get you cleaned up and we’ll get a new car.”
Quinn rolled her eyes and took the bags off Cooper’s back and put them on her own, she climbed onto his back and held on tight. He ran at an unbelievable speed and they were at the next town within minutes.
