Blaine could never be able to remove the smile from his face. “Dang hot blondes…..” he laughed and let Kurt pull him in, kissing him uncontrollably. Kurt’s warm hand on Blaine’s neck gave him butterflies, and he ran his hands through Kurt’s hair, mimicking his boyfriend. Every time Kurt said Blaine would be the only one, his heart soared.
Kurt gently pulled Blaine back towards the bed; they both fell upon it, Blaine on top of Kurt. Kurt wrapped his arms around Blaine’s neck rubbing up and down his bare back. The kissing was getting more passionate and uncontrollable but Kurt didn’t care, he was rather enjoying it.
Blaine was surprised when Kurt pulled him towards the bed; he didn’t know how mad Kurt still was. He didn’t protest and fell down on top of Kurt, never removing his lips from those of Kurt. Kurt’s hand on his back sent shivers through his spine, and in response his hand lightly moved down to rest on Kurt’s chest. The other hand was still in Kurt’s hair, his thumb twirling a small section of it.
Kurt began kissing down Blaine’s neck slowly moving to his chest. His hands moved further and further down Blaine’s back until he reached his ass, which he gave a light squeeze. He loved the feel of Blaine’s hand on his chest and the feel of his hand in his hair. He slowly began kissing back up his chest, up his neck to his lips.
Blaine bit his lip to keep from giggling when Kurt gave him a squeeze. He kissed Kurt back slowly but with passion mixed right in. He didn’t know how far Kurt wanted to go. His time, Blaine, his time. His time. These words ran through his mind as Kurt kissed him. Blaine could feel Kurt move his hands back up to Blaine’s back, and his own hands stayed where they were, in Kurt’s hair and on his chest.
Kurt continued to kiss Blaine until he heard the front door slam. “Hey guys we’re back!” Burt shouted as footsteps started coming up the stairs. Kurt looked at Blaine. “What do we do?”
Blaine looked around, and then down at Kurt. “Our shirts!” he exclaimed and jumped up. He reached for both their shirts and handed Kurt his before putting on his own quickly. They paused to listen, and heard footsteps coming up the staircase. Blaine sat down on the bed next to Kurt and Burt knocked on the door.
Kurt quickly threw his shirt on; he was trying not to laugh. He pulled himself back onto the bed properly, jumping under the covers. Blaine was sat at his feet looking from him to the door. The footsteps got louder and then stopped, there was a knock at Kurt’s door, and he assumed it was Burt so he closed his eyes pretending to be asleep.
“Come in.” Burt walked in and looked from Kurt to Blaine. “Is he still asleep?” Burt asked Blaine. Blaine turned towards Kurt and noticed he was pretending to be asleep. “Yeah, he is.” He said, trying his best not to laugh. Burt asked to talk to him. “Sure.” Blaine followed Burt out of the room so they didn’t “wake” Kurt.

Kurt did his best not to laugh as Burt stood in the doorway. Once Blaine and Burt left, Kurt sat up. He looked towards the door to see it shut. Kurt sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, “what am I doing?” he thought to himself. “I’m not ready for this; I’m only doing this for Blaine.”
Blaine stood outside the door, talking to Burt. He was being asked how Kurt was, and he responded to every question quickly. Blaine was worried that Kurt might crash again while he was pretending to be asleep. Burt left Blaine, and be slipped back into the room and leaned against the closed door.
Kurt was getting tired, he lay back down when the door opened and Blaine came back in, he leaned against the door. “What happened? Is everything ok?”
“Everything’s fine, he was just asking how you were.” Blaine ran his hands through his messy curls and looked over at Kurt. The buttons on his shirt were all buttoned in the wrong places, making Blaine smile to himself. He probably looked just as frazzled, he thought to himself. His eyes locked with Kurt’s and Blaine flashed him a re-assuring smile.
He nodded to show Blaine that he was listening. Kurt’s eyes were locked with Blaine’s; he did his best to smile. He didn’t know how to tell Blaine that he wasn’t ready. Kurt patted the space beside him as he laid his head back onto his pillow.

Blaine walked over to the bed and lay where Kurt had patted. He noticed Kurt was looking troubled about something. Blaine put his arm around Kurt and pulled him towards him. “We have to finish our wedding plans!” He said with a laugh. “Let’s see….. So if we are inviting some of our loser friends, which of the loser friends should we invite?”
Kurt felt Blaine put his arm around him pulling him towards Blaine. “Well Mercedes of course, Rachel and Finn, some of the Warblers, any I’ve missed?”
“Well, I don’t know people from New Directions, so that’s up to you.” Blaine couldn’t help but laugh. “So it’s going to be in New York with the total of about ten people. That’s all we’ve got so far…” Blaine remembered how Kurt said he planned Burt and Carole’s wedding all by himself. “I’m not the best wedding planner….. I’m not quite sure what else we need.” Blaine looked down at Kurt with an apologetic smile.
Kurt smiled. “It’s okay; let’s talk about something else now yeah?” Kurt asked hoping that Blaine would agree.
Blaine thought for a moment. “I don’t know if you remember, but we did have plans about a road trip that we never finished.” Blaine looked around Kurt’s room as he spoke before his eyes settled back on Kurt, who was looking up at him. “That is, if Vermont still pleases you.” he teased.
Kurt looked up at Blaine, who was looking around his room then back at him. “I remember them; I brought some stuff over there. I’ve been reading up on Vermont,” he smiled. “Vermont pleases me very much.”
“Did you now?” Blaine said, surprised. He looked at the stack of books near the door about Vermont that Kurt had bought. “Well, I’m glad it pleases you. I’ve been there a few times with my family and it’s gorgeous.” He attempted a smile, remembering the last time his family went to Vermont.
Kurt looked at Blaine who was attempting to smile, Kurt could see through him. “What’s wrong?” he asked concerned taking the hand that was wrapped round him.
“Nothing. It’s just….” he took in a breath and closed his eyes. “You know about the whole thing with my dad. The… on the last trip to Vermont with them, his insanity over me peaked.” It was all he could say without breaking down.
Kurt looked at Blaine who looked upset. “I’m sorry Blaine, what happened?” Kurt hugged Blaine tighter, letting him know he had Kurt there for support.
“We were at a party our friend was throwing,” Blaine began slowly. “I was watching football when my dad pulled me aside into an empty room. Apparently someone had mentioned that Vermont was one of the states that legalized gay marriage, which made him think of me and get really, really angry. We got into this heated argument and….” he paused. He hadn’t told anyone about this. “…… and he ended up slapping me. Then he went out into the party and acted like nothing happened. I had to tell people my face was red because I fell.” His eyes were still closed and he held his breath.

Kurt was shocked, he pulled Blaine in for a hug, and he heard him on the verge of tears. He could tell that it was hard for him to talk about. “Oh god Blaine, I’m so sorry baby, I know that it was hard for you to tell them that and I’m glad you did, you know you can tell me anything. I can’t believe he hit you, has he done it since?”
Blaine held on to Kurt, keeping his eyes closed. “He hasn’t. I think he’s afraid that I’d tell my mom if he did again.” His voice was shaking, but he thought to himself how it was nothing compared to what Kurt went through. “He’s been basically avoiding me, acting like I don’t exist, or get me to do things that might convert me.”
“That’s horrible! How could he do that to you?” Kurt asked putting his hands on Blaine’s face kissing his forehead. “You deserve so much better.”
Blaine smiled half-heartedly and put his hand over Kurt’s. “Thanks” was all he could mutter. “That’s why Burt’s so cool in my eyes. You guys’ relationship is so… amazing. He pulled me out to talk to me just to see how you were. That blows my mind that he cares so much.” Blaine’s eyes met Kurt’s and he held the gaze, trying to resume normal breathing.
Kurt couldn’t help but feel guilty, he had a loving dad who cares and loves him and Blaine didn’t have that. He didn’t know what to say except “maybe Vermont isn’t such a good idea.”
“Now why would you say that?” Blaine lightly teased, mood improving. “I love Vermont. It’s not Vermont’s fault that happened.” He smiled for real this time. “Plus, I’ll be with you, which automatically makes the trip a million times better than the last one.” He lowered his hand, bringing one of Kurt’s along with it. The fingers belonging to the two hands intertwined, and looked back up at Kurt. “Unless you’ve changed your mind.”

Their fingers intertwined and Blaine smiled at Kurt. “Of course I haven’t changed my mind! I’m just worried about you.” he gave Blaine a light kiss. “Wherever we go as long as we’re together it’ll be amazing.”
“No need to worry about me.” Blaine said, giving Kurt’s hand a squeeze. “I’d go to the scariest place in the world if you wanted me to.” He smiled and tapped Kurt’s nose with his index finger. “What would you like to do now, Mr. Hummel?”
“I’d never want you to go to the scariest place in the world.” Kurt’s nose scrunched up when Blaine tapped it; he stuck his tongue out at Blaine afterwards. “Hmmm what can we do? We could watch a movie and snuggle for a bit or we could talk or do something completely different.”
“What movies do we have?” Blaine said, looking around Kurt’s room. He didn’t see any movies; they were either downstairs or just plain hiding from him. He looked back at Kurt. “If you want to watch a movie, we could do something else if you want.” Blaine suggested, hoping he’d choose to watch a movie.
Kurt didn’t want to do anything else; he just wanted to lie there with Blaine. He didn’t want to get up but he had to, to get the movies. He kissed Blaine’s head and got up off the bed and walked over the TV. Underneath the TV was a cupboard, Kurt unlocked it and moved his journal out of the way to get to the selection of movies on the shelf. “Here are my movies, if you want something more action or horror then they’re in the living room. I don’t mind what we watch.”
“Dealer’s choice.” Blaine said with a smile. He glanced down at the movies Kurt had, not caring which one they watched. There were a lot of musicals, which made Blaine’s smile wide. How Kurt-esque.
“I want you to choose” Kurt said clutching his journal. Blaine was looking at the movies so Kurt went and hid his journal somewhere else. When he came back Blaine was still looking. He stood behind Blaine and wrapped his arms around him. “Any idea what you want to watch?”
“I’ve narrowed it down to three.” Blaine put his hand on Kurt’s arm and leaned his head back on Kurt’s chest. “Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, and When Harry Met Sally.” He pointed at the three movies he had laying side by side away from the rest of the movies. “I don’t know which I’m in the mood for.” Blaine looked up at Kurt and smiled. “You choose.”
Kurt smiled and kissed the top of Blaine’s head, “Hmm let’s go When Harry Met Sally.” he said, and he wasn’t in the mood for a musical shockingly. He took the movie and set up the DVD player, he put the disk in before turning off the light and made his way back to Blaine with the remote.
Blaine was relieved with Kurt’s choice: he didn’t really want to watch a musical. He knew how much Kurt loved them though, and he added them to the pile. His eyes took a moment to adjust to the darkness, and when they did Kurt was walking back to the bed with the remote. “Remember that time when you compared us to this movie?” He said with a grin, not sure if Kurt could see it or not.
“How could I forget?” he smiled when he saw Blaine’s grin and it made him smile wider. Kurt jumped back onto his bed, making sure he was comfortable. He waited for Blaine.
Blaine leaned his head against the pillow and sighed as the movie came on. He noticed Kurt sitting there, waiting for something, and he smiled. Blaine held his arms out towards Kurt and motioned with his head and hands, saying “Come here”. He waited for a few seconds for Kurt to accept his offer.
Kurt pressed play on the remote to start the movie. He smiled softly and lay down next to Blaine. “This is a good movie, haven’t seen it many times though.”
“It’s my mom’s favorite movie of all time. Meaning I’ve probably seen it more than the average human should.” Blaine rolled his eyes thinking about his mom’s obsession with that movie. He’d been happy to watch it recently though after Kurt mentioned the connection between them and the movie. He reached down and grabbed Kurt’s hand.
“If you’ve seen it so many times we don’t have to watch it.” Kurt said as Blaine took his hand, he looked down and gave it a squeeze.
“No no, don’t let me spoil all the fun.” Blaine said with laughter in his voice. “Just because I’ve seen it a lot doesn’t mean I don’t wanna watch it now.” The first scene came and Blaine snuggled closer to Kurt.
Kurt smiled as Blaine snuggled closer to him; he put his spare arm around Blaine. “That’s good then, just don’t recite the words.” he joked.
“I’ll try.” Blaine looked up at Kurt and smiled. “Only because it’s you. If anyone else asked me not to I’d basically yell them annoyingly.” He reached his head up to plant a kiss on Kurt’s cheek and ended up missing and kissing his jawbone near his chin. “Oops. Guess I have bad lip-eye coordination.” He said, shrugging his shoulders.
Kurt laughed as Blaine missed his cheek. “Let’s try that again” Kurt said leaning down to kiss Blaine’s cheek, deliberately missing so he kissed his lips.
“Would you look at that…. looks like you suffer from the same thing I do!” Blaine teased and returned Kurt’s kiss. He couldn’t help but smile like an idiot when they pulled apart. His stomach grumbled, and he looked down at it as to silence it. “Shhhhhh.” Blaine commanded, but his stomach didn’t listen.
Kurt smiled at Blaine, and then looked down at his stomach when it growled. “I’m such a bad host I never offered you anything to eat, would you like me to go and get you something?”
“You’re not a bad host.” Blaine said with a smile. He thought for a moment, deciding whether or not he wanted food. His stomach knew the answer and practically yelled at him. “I think food would be a good idea…… but you can’t go alone in this big scary house.” Blaine teased, looking up at Kurt with big, puppy like eyes. “Can I go with you?”
“I am a bad host, you’ve been here for hours and I haven’t offered you anything. I’m sorry.” Kurt said sliding off the bed. “And why can’t I go alone? Scared I’ll get lost?” he joked turning round. He saw Blaine’s puppy eyes and melted inside. “Awww you’re so cute, okay puppy you can come, come on.” he scratched Blaine’s head before kissing his nose, he held out his hand for Blaine to take if he chose to.
