Blaine felt Kurt smiling against his lips, which in turn made him smile. Blaine hadn’t kissed many people, and certainly no one as much as with Kurt, but he instantly knew that Kurt surpassed the level of anyone else he’d ever kissed. He wondered where Kurt had become so amazing at it, and became incredibly jealous at the thought off Kurt kissing another guy passionately like he was kissing Blaine. He tensed up a bit, hoping the jealousy didn’t show.
Kurt noticed that Blaine had become tense and sighed, he put his head down. He was sure it was something he’d done wrong this time for sure; the look on Blaine’s face didn’t look ok. He wasn’t sure what his face said but it didn’t look happy. “Have I gone too far?” Kurt asked. “Do you want me to stop?”
If Blaine could slap himself at that moment, he would have. He looked up at Kurt, who looked discouraged. He searched for words. “No, it’s just… I was thinking about how good you were…. at all this… and started wondering if it was natural… or if you learned it from someone….. and I guess my jealousy took over at the thought of you and another guy… like this.” Blaine blushed and looked away, feeling incredibly stupid.
Kurt sighed; Blaine’s jealousy was pretty strong. Kurt with another guy? No way, he’d only kissed Blaine. Karofsky kissed him but he didn’t kiss back. Kurt rolled off Blaine lying on the bed beside him still holding onto his hand. “How I learnt all this? No one taught me, the only guy I’ve kissed is you. Kar-” he stopped taking a deep breath. “Karofsky kissed me but I didn’t kiss back. I didn’t know the first thing about all of this before the pamphlets” He wanted to continue but he wasn’t sure if now Blaine wanted to.
Images flooded Blaine’s head when Kurt mentioned Karofsky kissing him. He closed his eyes and took in a sharp breath, wishing his jealousy wasn’t so strong. Kurt had sat right in between Blaine and Rachel during spin the bottle and witnessed that- which Blaine knew was so much more cause for jealousy than a small kiss that wasn’t even returned. He flipped in his side to face Kurt when he mentioned pamphlets. “I am not familiar with these pamphlets.” Blaine teased. “Please, do tell me where you got them and what they are.” He stuck his tongue out at Kurt, jealousy lowering.
Kurt’s mind was racing with images of Karofsky and what he did to him wishing that Blaine hadn’t said anything. He closed his eyes for a second removing the tears so Blaine didn’t notice, lucky for him he didn’t. Kurt turned to face Blaine who had his eyes closed; a second later he turned to face Kurt with a grin on his face. His face went red when Blaine asked about the pamphlets. “It was actually my dad who gave me the pamphlets, he thought it was time we had "the talk".” Kurt said sticking his tongue back out at Blaine. He leaned over Blaine to get to the drawer next to his bed, pulling out some pamphlets. He gave them to Blaine before grabbing a pillow putting it over his face to hide his embarrassment.

Blaine burst out laughing when Kurt said his dad had given him the talk. He didn’t think that Kurt knew that Blaine went to Burt and asked him to talk to Kurt about this. He didn’t know if he should tell Kurt, it might give him the wrong idea about his intentions at the time. Blaine was going to Burt as a friend who was worried about him, not as a boyfriend who wanted Kurt to know all of this for him. Kurt handed him the pamphlets and he flipped through them, shaking his head. Kurt was hiding under his pillow, but Blaine could clearly see he was embarrassed. “I never got these.” Blaine said with laughter in his voice. “Cause my dad doesn’t care as much as yours does.”
Kurt poked half his head out of the pillow when Blaine mentioned his dad, something he hadn’t done before. “Keep them.” Kurt said smiling. “I only read them for you anyway, if I didn’t love you so much I wouldn’t have yet.” Kurt pulled the pillow off him, his face still very red. He leaned in and kissed Blaine. “You deserve so much better Blaine, you’re amazing and you deserve people who love and care about you.”
Blaine chuckled when Kurt told him to keep the pamphlets. “Oh now wait a minute, I don’t think that they’re ready to part from you. You keep ‘em.” Blaine said, putting them in Kurt’s hands and smiling. He turned pink when Kurt said he only kept them for him, and even more when Kurt kissed him. He became bright red after Kurt’s little speech and he didn’t know how to respond. “Well, that’s why I have you. To give me at least one person who does.” Blaine said with a smile. Burt knew that Blaine and his dad were not on the best terms and that his dad kept trying to find a way to make his son straight, but Kurt didn’t.
Kurt didn’t know what to say, there was a part of Blaine that he didn’t know. Kurt pushed the pamphlets onto the floor and wrapped his arms around Blaine, snuggling up to him hoping that he hadn’t upset him. He kissed his neck and noticed that Blaine had gone a rather cute shade of red. “You okay Rosy?” he asked with a smile on his face. It was usually Kurt that did the blushing; he thought it was cute when Blaine blushed.
Blaine laughed when Kurt called him Rosy. “Oh like you never blush like crazy.” Blaine playfully shot back. He wrapped his arms around Kurt and pulled him closer to him. He decided he wanted to tell Kurt something about his dad so he wasn’t kept in the dark. “One thing your dad and I connected on was cars.” Blaine said, beginning his story with Burt. “My dad and I rebuilt a car in our driveway a few summers back. He’s been getting me to do things like that for a while now. You know manly things.” Blaine closed his eyes and took a breath. “Things, he hopes after while, would knock me out of this “phase” he thinks I’m in and...” he hesitated, trying not to bring Kurt down. “And try to make me straight again.”
Kurt was sat listening to Blaine, so happy that Blaine had told him this. But one thing confused him, Blaine and his dad connected on cars? When did this happen, he never mentioned it when he said what happened during their meeting. “I didn’t have any idea Blaine, I’m sorry.” he saw Blaine take a breath and hugged him tighter trying to give him that extra support. “I’m glad you’re telling me this, I want to be here for you and for you to be able to tell me anything.”

Blaine felt a twang of guilt pass through him. He wanted to tell Kurt everything, but he wasn’t sure how he was going to handle it. Blaine didn’t want Kurt taking the next few sentences he was going to say in the wrong way, because their relationship was so new. He sighed, jumping into what he needed to say. “Since we’re telling each other everything right now… there’s one thing I need to tell you. But I’m not sure how you will handle it.” Blaine took a deep breath and closed his eyes. “When your dad gave you... the talk… he didn’t tell you that… that I had asked him too.” He buried his face in Kurt’s hair; it was his turn to be embarrassed.
Kurt’s eyes widened when he heard this, he felt Blaine put his head in his hair. He sat up bolt right turning round to Blaine. His face wasn’t happy. “What?!” Kurt said hoping he’d heard wrong. “Why would you do that?”
Blaine shrunk back from Kurt and took his yelling. “I was worried about you!” He said once Kurt was done. “I didn’t want you to end up in a situation one day where you wouldn’t know what you were doing!” Blaine looked down at his hands. “This was before you and I ever happened…. when we were still just friends. And I, frankly, was a friend who didn’t want to see you get hurt.” He shrunk back further, bracing himself.
Kurt didn’t know what to say next, all he knew what that he wasn’t happy. He got up off the bed and paced round the room. He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. He appreciated that Blaine worried about him but he didn’t need to be. “I appreciate you being worried about me but you didn’t need to be, I’m fine! If my dad wanted to have that conversation we would have had it by now, yes I did ask him to educate himself in case I had any questions but I didn’t expect you two to talk about it behind my back.” Kurt said sitting down crossed legged on the floor with his head in his hands. “I didn’t want to know because I knew at the time you didn’t like me in that way and I knew that I wasn’t going to have anyone else so why should I have to learn then, I wasn’t ready to know.” he took a deep breath. “I should thank you though; otherwise I wouldn’t have any idea what to do with you, would I?”
Blaine sat on the bed, looking at the wall. He knew he shouldn’t have gone to Burt without Kurt’s permission, but he also knew he would never have gotten it. He closed his eyes and listened to Kurt, trying to keep guilty tears from forming. Kurt didn’t want to hear it in the first place. Why did he go and talk to Burt? He didn’t have the right, and he shouldn’t have talked to Burt behind Kurt’s back. He put his hand on his forehead as Kurt kept on talking, the words becoming one big slur. Kurt never wanted to know, he wasn’t ready to know. How could he have been so stupid? Blaine didn’t quite make out the last few sentences of what Kurt said; he was too busy yelling at himself inside his head.
Kurt noticed that Blaine was in his own world and didn’t notice when Kurt got up and went into his bathroom, locking the door behind him. He sat down behind the door and sighed. Had he over reacted? Had he just ruined things between them? It was going so well and he had to go and put his foot in it. “Well done Kurt.” he said as a tear rolled down his cheek. He put his head in his hands and sighed again.
Blaine looked over to where Kurt used to be and his eyes found nothing. The bathroom door was shut and Blaine only assumed Kurt had gone in there. He slowly got up from the bed and walked over to the door. Blaine put his ear against the door and heard Kurt berate himself for this whole problem. Blaine knew it was his fault and Kurt had just responded. The door was locked, keeping Blaine from pulling the door aside and taking Kurt in his arms, so he just politely knocked. “Kurt?”
Kurt heard Blaine knock on the door and call his name. He didn’t know what to say or do. A bit of him wanted to stay locked in there but most of him just wanted to go out and just hug Blaine and apologize. He got up off the floor and looked in the mirror, he looked a mess. He ran the tap and threw water on his face to clean it and wash away the tears. He unlocked the bathroom door and then crossed his arms, he looked at the floor. “I’m sorry.” he mumbled.
Blaine basically ran to Kurt and wrapped his arms around him. “Don’t be.” He whispered in Kurt’s ear, rubbing his hand up and down Kurt’s back. He sighed, loving having Kurt in his arms again. Blaine pulled Kurt closer to him, regretting their fight, was it a fight? Anyway he glad he told Kurt so it didn’t crash down on them later. He pulled back ever so slightly, arms still wrapped around Kurt, and kissed Kurt’s forehead “I’m sorry. You didn’t need me to do that, and I shouldn’t have.”
Kurt realized that he shouldn’t have been angry with Blaine, he was going to find out eventually and who better to get his dad to do it then the guy he loved. He held Blaine tight not wanting to let go. When Blaine pulled back slightly, Kurt just wanted to pull him back in. He closed his eyes when Blaine kissed his forehead. “It’s okay. It’s done now, we can’t go back to the past now. I’m glad it was you who asked dad to tell me, and not some other person” he said quietly. “I’m sorry for shouting at you, forgive me please?”
“If any forgiving is happening, I hope it’s you forgiving me.” Blaine said, taking one hand and wiping off some of the left over drops of water on Kurt’s face. “I should have let you and your dad talk about this on your time and not have butted in.” He leaned forward and kissed Kurt’s nose. “So, can you,” he paused, kissing Kurt’s cheek, “Kurt Hummel, forgive,” he kissed his other cheek. “Me?” He leaned in and kissed Kurt’s lips softly, as if asking for permission.
Kurt melted from the kisses Blaine was giving him; he thought his knees were going to give way. Luckily he was held tight onto Blaine. When Blaine kissed his lips gently, Kurt kissed him back, showing that he’d forgiven him but he thought it was best if he said it too. “I forgive you, only because I love you so much and I couldn’t bear to lose you. I can’t stay angry with you, ever.” Kurt said smiling pulling Blaine back in for another kiss.
Blaine grinned when Kurt said he was forgiven and couldn’t stay mad at him. He pulled Kurt close to him as they kissed, this time with less gentle kisses. Blaine’s hand rose up to rest on Kurt’s cheek, and it stayed there when they pulled back. His thumb began to stroke Kurt’s skin as he spoke. “Now we can add that to the list of awkward meetings between your dad and me.”
Blaine pulled Kurt closer to him as they kissed, their kisses were less gentle. Kurt could feel Blaine’s hand rise to his cheek and the feel of it on his skin made his whole body shiver. When they pulled apart, Kurt couldn’t help but smile. “So it’s awkward meetings three? Unless there’s more I don’t know about and normal meetings one.” Kurt joked kissing Blaine once again more passionately than before.
“Oh no, we have had a million other awkward meetings. Like just last week I accidently rammed him with a grocery cart in the grocery store and spilled a gallon of milk all on his clothes.” Blaine teased before pulling Kurt in for another kiss. His hands moved so that they were both gently cupping Kurt’s face, afraid that if he held on to hard the other boy would shatter like a glass doll. Blaine could feel Kurt’s arms wrapping around his neck, forcing him to smile. He was glad their first fight was over.
Kurt gave him a joking glare and then stuck his tongue out before instinctively wrapping his arms around Blaine’s neck, pulling them as close together as they could get. Kurt continued to kiss him, never wanting to stop. He felt horrible about their argument and was keen to make up. He was so glad their first fight was over, he couldn’t bear to think about what would have happened if he’d kicked Blaine out, which he was tempted to at first, or just sit in the bathroom all night and not come out. But forgiving him made him feel so much better too.
Blaine’s hands traced Kurt’s face down to the base of his neck as the two continued to kiss. He knew, realistically, that this was not their last fight, but a part of him hoped for it to be. He made Kurt feel horrible, which in turn made him feel horrible. Blaine remembered the time that Kurt had asked him to leave when he brought up something he didn’t want to talk about, and Blaine was glad that didn’t happen this time. He would have left if Kurt had really wanted him too, but he was extremely happy that Kurt wanted him to stay. He smiled against Kurt’s lips despite his inner protesting to keep from doing that.
Kurt could feel Blaine smile against his lips making him smile back. He pulled away for a second. “I love you,” he said quietly. “Don’t ever leave me.” he said looking into Blaine’s eyes.
Blaine had so many different things he wanted to say, but he couldn’t decide on just one. “I honestly think it’s physically impossible to even think about leaving you.” He said with a smile. Kurt’s eyes were making thinking rationally extremely difficult. Blaine rested his forehead against Kurt’s, feeling content. “And you’ll never leave me?”
Kurt was relieved when he heard it. “You think I’d chase you for so long just to leave you? You’re more insane than I thought.” he laughed kissing Blaine’s nose. “I’d never ever, ever leave you, even if some hot blonde tries to seduce me. It’s always going to be you, forever and always.” Kurt looked deep into Blaine’s eyes, he couldn’t blink it was like he was hypnotized.

“Phew, hot blondes off the list of possible threats.” Blaine said with a wink. “What about hot gingers? Or brunettes?” He teased, taking Kurt’s chin in his hand as he kissed him and moved closer. “Or non-hot gingers and brunettes and blondes? Cause they’re still on the list.” He stared into Kurt’s breathtakingly blue eyes, stomach doing flips. He didn’t know why, but Kurt always did that to him.
“Nope, just hot blondes.” he grinned sticking his tongue out. He felt Blaine take his chin and pull him in for a kiss, his smile was erasable. “The only person on my list is you. There will never be anyone else.” he pulled Blaine in for another kiss; there was no longer space between them. Their bodies were physically touching, Kurt ran one hand through Blaine’s hair and the other stroked the back of his neck.
