The hand on Kurt’s face gently turned Blaine’s face round so he was looking at him. “No its nothing like that, she’s just too busy with New Directions and other things. It has nothing to do with you baby, i promise you that.” He smiled kissing him. “I have no problem with you hogging me, i kinda like it.”
Blaine attempted a smile when Kurt was talking. He kissed Kurt back softly and his thoughts wandered. Kurt probably missed McKinley like crazy. His eyes closed and he sighed, listening to the sounds around him.
Kurt looked at him, he didn’t look happy. He kissed his forehead before putting his against Blaine’s. He stroked his cheek. “What are you thinking about?”
“Do you really want to know?” Blaine’s eyes slowly opened and looked into Kurt’s. He nodded in response to Blaine’s question.”I… I was thinking about what it would be like if you… transferred back to McKinley.”
“Why would i transfer back? Why would i want to?” he asked looking into Blaine’s eyes. “I have you, I have the Warblers, I’m happy at Dalton.”
“It’s always a possibility.” Blaine said quietly, looking away for a second. He hated what he was thinking but the thoughts refused to leave his brain. “And you’ll always have me until you don’t want me, so you don’t have to worry about not having me if you did transfer.” Why was he saying these things? He was planting all these scenarios into his mind. He closed his eyes and sighed.
“Why are you saying this? I don’t understand I’m not going anywhere” Kurt asked confused. He wanted to know what bought this on. “Why would i go back to a place where people bullied me and ignored me? There is no way i’d do it willingly no matter how much i love my friends.”
Blaine hated what he was saying and what he was making Kurt say. He couldn’t muster a response so he just looked up a Kurt, admiring him. Kurt let out a short breath and Blaine couldn’t control himself. He pulled Kurt down to him for a soft, slow, gentle yet passionate kiss.
Kurt was relieved when Blaine pulled him in for a gentle and passionate kiss in which Kurt reciprocated. He took the hand that was on top of his and held it intertwining their finger.
Blaine’s free hand drifted up into Kurt’s hair as his kisses were returned. He was glad they had stopped talking about Kurt transferring. Blaine smiled against Kurt’s lips but whimpered when Kurt pulled away for a second.
Kurt pulled away and smiled at his whimpering boyfriend. “Aww my poor puppy.” he kissed his nose. “What would puppy like to do?”
Blaine knew Kurt loved calling him a puppy, so he smiled. “I don’t know… what could we do? We’ve been watching movies….” Blaine trailed off, thinking.
“Yeah we have and they’ve all finished..” Kurt said thinking, he turned round and sat on his lap, stroking his hair with one of the hands he released.
“What do you usually do around here? You can’t just watch movies…..” Both Blaine and Kurt were thinking about what they wanted to do. They could play a game of some sorts, go bake something, or just sit there. Blaine looked at the boy sitting in his lap, waiting for an answer.
“What i usually do is, watch movies, sing, yeah i sing a lot, write in my journal. Ooh i know what we could do” Kurt said excited looking at Blaine. “Dad and Carole got Finn and I a Wii for Christmas, i haven’t played it yet but i thought we could play it together.”
Blaine’s eyebrows shot up and he smiled excitedly. “You have a wii?” He sat up and hugged Kurt as he spoke. “Where do you keep it?”
“At the moment its downstairs in the drawer under the TV but i could go and get it, that’s if you want to play it.” he smiled hugging Blaine.
Blaine looked at Kurt, overly excited. He loved the Wii. “Do we need to get Finn’s permission or should we just take it?” Blaine said, kissing Kurt’s neck.
“Its both of ours so no we don’t need permission and anyway he’s out tonight so he won’t know.” he grinned as Blaine kissed his neck. “I do have a confession to make though; I’ve never played it before.”
“Well, I’ll just have to teach you.” Blaine smiled and stood up, Kurt falling out of his lap and onto the bed. “Where did you say it was again?” Blaine asked, taking Kurt’s hand and pulling him up.
Kurt gripped Blaine’s hands as he was pulled up off the bed and onto his feet. “No, you’re okay you stay here i’ll get it.”
“Fine.” Blaine said with a pout as Kurt left the room. The door closed behind him and Blaine sat back down on the bed, thinking. His stuff was still downstairs, and he wondered if Kurt would see it when he was down there. Blaine sighed and began singing softly to himself.
Kurt left his room closing the door behind him. Slowly he made his way down the stairs, the living room was dark but the kitchen light was on. He reached the bottom of the stairs and walked slowly to the kitchen, someone was rummaging around.
“What are you doing?” Kurt asked stepping forward. The figure jumped. It was Burt.
“Kurt what are you doing down here?” he asked standing up. “Oh i’m just getting a drink, what are you doing?” Kurt asked.
“Ted called, there’s some stuff that needs doing so i’m going in early.” Burt said. Kurt nodded slowly, he moved towards the refrigerator and took out the milk. “How are you feeling?” Burt asked.
Kurt turned to face him. “Oh fine now thanks and er thanks for asking Blaine to stay.”
Burt smiled. “Its fine.” he didn’t want to say that he’d heard some of the stuff they had talked about, he looked at his watch. “Er i have to go, we’ll talk later okay?” He left the kitchen and went to the front door, opening it and walked out.
Kurt sighed putting the milk back and made his way to the living room, turning out the kitchen light and turning on the living room one. He went the drawer where the Wii was pulling out the console, remotes and wires. He went to take them upstairs when he saw Blaine’s stuff, he picked them up and put them on the top of the load he had in his hands. Kurt went back upstairs and gently kicked his door asking Blaine to open it for him.
Blaine’s thoughts were stopped when he heard Kurt knock on the door. He got out of bed and opened thevdoor, letting Kurt in. He noticed Kurt had a lot in his hands and offered to take something. Blaine took his stuff off of Kurt’s load and helped him set up the wii. He noticed Kurt was being quiet. “You okay?”
Kurt looked up at Blaine. “Hmm oh yeah i’m fine, just bumped into dad downstairs” he went into his drawer and got out some new batteries and placed them into the Wii remotes before setting up the sensor.
Blaine watched Kurt as he moved around the room. After a few minutes they had successfully started up the wii and looked at each other with satisfied smiles. Blaine tapped Kurt’s nose before pulling the stack of unopened games towards him. “Let’s see, what do we have here..” Blaine said, spreading the games out so they could all bee seen.
Kurt scrunched up his nose when Blaine tapped it and smiled. “I don’t really know what’s in there but i’m sure there’s something you’ll enjoy.” he said sitting crossed legged opposite Blaine.
Blaine looked at the games, seeing some he recognized and some he didn’t. He finally settled on one and held it up for Kurt to judge. “How about good ol’ wii sports? You know, the one they show a lot with tennis and golf and other games like that.” Blaine raised his eyebrows while he spoke and smiled when he was done, waiting for Kurt’s answer.
Kurt nodded and smiled. “Sure why not.” he watched as Blaine went and put the disk in, he handed Blaine one remote and kept the other to himself. “We’ll have to make ourselves characters though won’t we?”
Blaine laughed. “That’s part of the fun!” He handled his remote like a pro and got the character designer up in a flash. Kurt was having some trouble, so Blaine scooted to where he was behind Kurt and helped him, wrapping his free arm around the boy. They began to make Kurt’s character first so Kurt could get used to the remote.
“This is so weird” Kurt laughed trying to work the remote. He looked at Blaine who had his arm around him. “I think I’m getting it, the thing you know the pointer keeps disappearing. Is it supposed to do that?”
“Only if you want it to.” Blaine said, smiling and shaking his head. It took a few minutes, but Kurt finally got how to work the remote and was quite proud of himself. He had made a character and was about to save it before Blaine remembered something. “You can change the color of what they have on.” Blaine said, pointing to the screen. “I’m usually pink.” Blaine grinned.
Kurt was proud of the character that he had created and turned to Blaine and smiled, he laughed when Blaine said what colour he usually had his character in. “I think I’ll go with red, i like red and all my best outfits are red.” he finished and saved it. “Right your turn.”
“Hey, I keep it classy.” Blaine stuck his tongue out at Kurt when he laughed at his color. He began to make his character once Kurt was done, and he finished a lot more quickly than Kurt did. Blaine stood up and offered his hand to Kurt to help him up. Once they were both standing, Blaine started the game. “Alrighty then, which one do you want to play first?”
Kurt took Blaine’s hand and stood up. “Thanks” he smiled lovingly at Blaine who was starting the game. “I don’t mind, which ones easiest? he laughed.
Blaine looked at the ceiling, thinking. The games were all pretty easy to him. “Bowling.” He said, nodding his head at his decision and starting up the round before looking over at Kurt, who was staring at him. Blaine smiled and pointed to the screen with his remote, his eyes not leaving Kurt’s. “It’s your turn.”
Kurt’s eyes didn’t want to leave Blaine’s but they had to. He turned to the game. “Right so how do i do this?”
“Watch.” Blaine demonstrated how to throw the ball in the game and stepped back, letting Kurt try. When he did, he immediately hit…. not one pin. Blaine bit his lip and walked up behind Kurt, his arm parallel to Kurt’s. “Let me help.” His hand rested on top of Kurt’s and he moved closer, helping Kurt. With Blaine’s help, Kurt knocked down every pin.
Kurt looked sad when he didn’t hit one pin, he looked at Blaine then to the floor. A hand rested on top of his own, in the corner of his eye he saw Blaine move closer. With Blaine’s help they knocked down every single pin. Kurt jumped up and down clapping and laughing, he turned and hugged Blaine. “We did it!”
Blaine laughed and hugged Kurt back, happy that he was so excited. He pulled away and flashed Kurt a mischievous grin. “Now watch how it’s done.” Blaine took his turn and hit down every pin on the first try. He looked at Kurt and watched him stick his tongue out. “I’m such a pro.”
Kurt stuck his tongue out in return giving him a joking glare. Kurt had to do it himself this time. He took his turn and knocked down 5 pins. “I got 5 its better than nothing i guess” he smiled.
Blaine watched Kurt knock down 5 pins. “Five pins better than your last try!” Blaine said teasingly. It was his turn again, and he knocked down all the pins once again. “I never said I would go easy on you.” Blaine said with a laugh and got another joking glare from Kurt.
“I wouldn’t want you to” Kurt said giving him another joking glare. He took his go and completely missed them again, instead of being sad he laughed, “i really suck at this”
“Everyone is on their first time.” Blaine said, laughing and giving Kurt a reassuring hug. It was his turn again and he knocked over every pin…. again. “Except for me.” He struck a pose and pretended to wave to an adoring crowd of fans.
“Of course not you, you’re perfect.” Kurt laughing gently shoving Blaine. It was Kurt’s turn again, he knocked them all over but one. “Almost! I was sooo close” he laughed turning to Blaine.
“I am perfect.” Blaine said with a wink. He watched as Kurt excitedly knocked down all but one. He raised his eyebrows and turned towards Kurt at the same time. “Look at that! You’re getting better.” Blaine said with a laugh before pulling Kurt into a congratulatory hug.
Kurt laughed and hugged Blaine. “I am i think soon i might be better than you.” he giggled with his tongue slightly poking out.
“You wish.” Blaine kissed his nose before knocking over every pin again. “Like I said before, I’m a pro.” He raised his eyebrows and laughed, looking at the results of the ended game. “Oh, look who won.” Blaine said, flashing Kurt a grin and winking.
Kurt scrunched his nose up when Blaine kissed it. When Blaine won Kurt gave him a joking glare. “Well done baby but i’ll win next time.” he laughed giving Blaine a hug and a quick kiss.
“Don’t be too sure. Before you came, the Warblers would hold annual Wii tournaments. Wes is so competitive… I don’t know why we haven’t had one in a while. They’re fun.” Blaine said with a smile before Kurt pulled him in. “Let’s play tennis next.”
“I wonder why they stopped…” Kurt said curiously. “Sure, i’m so going to beat you this time!” he laughed jumping round in his tennis pose.
“We may have to remind them……” Blaine said with a smile and shrug. He jumped into his tennis pose along side Kurt and the game began, Kurt hopelessly trying to hit the ball. Blaine did so with ease, suddenly thankful for the crazy Wii tournaments the Warblers were obsessed with.
Kurt was even worse at Tennis than he was at Bowling, Blaine was doing it with ease he was a pro. Kurt was trying his best and was concentrating really hard but he just couldn’t hit the ball, he could hear Blaine quietly laughing.
Blaine couldn’t help it; Kurt playing Wii was hilarious. And incredibly adorable. He made a mental note to text the Warblers and set up another tournament. Kurt hit the ball and got a point due to Blaine’s distraction. He turned towards Kurt, who looked extremely proud.
Kurt hit the ball and looked at Blaine with pride, Blaine had missed but looked distracted. He wasn’t going to ask why incase it was something bad. Kurt was trying so hard and he had guessed he looked ridiculous by Blaine’s laughter.
The next round started, yet Blaine was still thinking about setting up a Warbler Wii tournament. He would have to text the guys…. no doubt they’ll say yes. Then find a time…. Kurt was catching up to him. Blaine was still trying to mentally set up the event, but he began to start really playing again, laughing.
Kurt was secretly happy that Blaine was distracted as it gave him an advantage. Suddenly Blaine was getting back into the game and was getting way ahead of Kurt. “What were you thinking about?” Kurt asked while trying to hit the ball.
“Setting up another Wii tournament so I can smoke you in public, and then have Wes smoke me. He is so competitive….” Blaine laughed, memories flooding his mind. The game ended and Blaine won. He felt guilty about winning every game, and it showed on his face.
“Oh no you’re not going to ‘smoke’ me in public its embarrassing enough losing every game we’ve just played. I hope Wes does smoke you, it’ll teach you a lesson for being so cocky.” Kurt teased.
“Me, cocky? Never.” Blaine said, laughing and giving Kurt a little glare. “Wes smokes everyone. We all have this theory that all he does is play Wii so as to smoke us when the tournaments come up.” He continued to laugh.
“I’m going to need to practice non stop for the next 3 years if i want to ever beat him.” Kurt smiled. “Wes is so good at everything its not fair.” he laughed.
“I guess Finn isn’t getting his Wii back…” Blaine laughed, he seemed to be laughing a lot tonight. “Wes is like me and can’t cook to save his life. Really, none of the Warblers can. You’ve got us beat there.”
“Wow one thing,” Kurt said raising his eye brows. “I only had to learn because of my dad anyway otherwise i wouldn’t have a clue. Right what shall we play now?”
Blaine looked through the games, trying to settle on one that would be easier. “Golf?” He asked, turning towards Kurt and shrugging his shoulders. “It’s easier than tennis, trust me.”
“I hope so i would like to either win or be good at least one of these games.” Kurt smiled.
Blaine rolled his eyes and laughed. He booted up the game and Kurt began. He wasn’t doing too bad, Blaine thought to himself as he watched Kurt play. His eyes swept over Kurt, taking him all in.
Kurt was trying really hard on the golf game, he seemed to be doing ok. He smiled when he managed to pot the ball in less than 5 hits, it was an achievement for him and it made him happy.
