“What are you talking about? I don’t get cold.” Blaine teased and climbed under the covers. He put his hands behind his head and concentrated on the movie and not on the fact that he was shirtless in bed with Kurt Hummel. “Look, its Oliver Wood! Hottie alert!”
Kurt smiled as Blaine got into bed, he saw Blaine just watch the TV and it made Kurt feel like he’d upset him. He didn’t say anything he just turned to the TV and watched it. “Oh that’s him? He’s not bad.”
“Not bad? Better than Cedric…” Blaine laughed, turning to Kurt. Kurt looked upset. Great, I did it again. “Hey,” He said, trying to get Kurt to look at him. When he did, he smiled and held out one of his arms. “Come here.” Blaine crooned, inviting Kurt in for a snuggle.
“I’ll judge once i see him shirtless or in a vest.” Kurt said. He heard Blaine call him, he was reluctant at first to look at him but he did, when he did he couldn’t help but smile. He slid over and wrapped his arms around Blaine, that snuggle made him feel a lot better and hoped it made Blaine feel better too.
Blaine smiled and let out a happy sigh. “This is much better than any of that.” Blaine said, pointing his head towards Oliver Wood before looking down at Kurt. “For me at least. I don’t know how it is for you and Cedric….” Blaine’s voice became sad and he pouted before nestling his face in Kurt’s hair, muffling a laugh.
“I’d rather be here with you than anyone else in the world, including Cedric, he now comes second.” he saw Blaine’s ‘sad’ face. “Awww baby don’t be sad i chose you over him.” He didn’t realize that Blaine was laughing when he put his head down on Kurt’s hair.
Blaine couldn’t keep from smiling when Kurt said he didn’t want to be with anyone else in the world. He kissed Kurt’s cheek, holding it for a few seconds longer than usual. “I love you, Kurt Hummel.” Blaine whispered in Kurt’s ear after pulling back. He nestled his head on top of Kurt’s and pulled him the smallest fraction closer to him.
He closed his eyes when Blaine kissed his cheek and died inside when Blaine said he loved him. Blaine pulled him closer and rested his head on Kurt’s. “I love you too, so much” Kurt said taking one of Blaine’s hands in his own intertwining their fingers.
“We’re so cheesy that it hurts.” Blaine teased, watching as their fingers intertwined. “But I’m such a hopeless romantic that it makes up for it all.” He took a deep breath, smelling Kurt’s hair as he did so. Gryffindor was about to play Quidditch, but Blaine was only concentrated on the boy in his arms, who seemed concentrated on the movie.

“You are such a hopeless romantic and i love my romance.” Kurt grinned. He was getting into the movie he didn’t realize at first the Blaine wasn’t watching the tv. He noticed a minute later. He smiled widely up at Blaine; he pulled the intertwined hands up to his mouth and kissed Blaine’s hand before putting his other hand on Blaine’s chest.
Blaine resisted the urge to pull Kurt as close to him as possible and smiled back at the boy curled up at his side. If they were going to get closer, it was Kurt who was going to make it happen. “It seems you understand now, you haven’t been asking any questions.” Blaine laughed, teasing Kurt about his constant questioning about Harry Potter.
Kurt was happy as they were, they were close but not too close it was a comfortable close. “You said that this one answers all my questions so i shouldn’t ask them.” Kurt grinned up at Blaine.
“I never said you shouldn’t ask. It’s better than you being confused.” Blaine said with a shrug. He gave Kurt a squeeze and smiled at him. Harry Potter had just caught the snitch, and Blaine smiled a smile that looked like a Proud Papa smile.
“Alright i have a question, why did Harry get to be the seeker? is it seeker? When he’s only in his first year and people older can’t?” He asked smiling at Blaine who was smiling at Harry.
“McGonagall saw him catch Neville’s remembrall and showed him to Oliver Wood, and they put him on the team because he’s the best ever.” Blaine turned and directed his smile towards Kurt, extremely happy in that moment.
“But there might be other kids who are better who didn’t get a chance to try” Kurt said, his voice going all childlike. He smiled up at Blaine, feeling so much better than earlier.
“There aren’t.” Blaine reassured him, partially teasing. He loved how Kurt’s voice changed childlike, and he broke out into a grin. Kurt seemed to be better, now all Blaine had to do was watch what he said so as not to make Kurt upset again.
“Oh good because we don’t want any upset Gryffindor’s.” he smiled. “How did something as big as a snitch go down his throat and fit perfectly without choking him?”
“The snitch is actually really small.” Blaine said with a smile. “Small enough for it to fit in his mouth but not small enough to choke him so I guess his tongue stopped it or something.” Blaine shrugged. He didn’t really know how to answer this question.
“You don’t know!” Kurt laughed. “Something you don’t actually know.”
“Oh, alright then. You try to explain why Harry didn’t swallow the snitch and sound intelligent.”
“I can’t you’re the Harry Potter nerd, I’m just a diva in Hufflepuff who has the hots for Cedric.” he grinned.

“I thought we were done with him.” Blaine said with a laugh. He noticed Kurt yawn and look sleepy. “You tired?”
“I am sort of.” He smiled when Blaine talked about Cedric, he yawned. “A little bit, you look exhausted.” Kurt said poking at Blaine’s face.
“Hey, don’t poke.” Blaine didn’t want to admit he was tired, but a small yawn escaped his lips. His head rested on Kurt’s, and his eyes closed. They shot back up thirty seconds later, not wanting to fall asleep until Kurt was asleep and happy.
“I heard a yawn!” Kurt said looking up at Blaine whose eyes were shut. He smiled at him. “I think its time we went to sleep don’t you agree?”
Blaine looked over at the clock. It was almost three. “Only if this Hufflepuff is sleepy.” He responded to Kurt with a smile, remembering how he wasn’t going to fall asleep until Kurt was.
“Why does it have to be when I’m sleepy?” he grinned. “You don’t have to wait for me.”
“I…. I don’t want to fall asleep on you.” Blaine’s eyes fluttered shut and shot back open a couple of times. He didn’t want to admit he was tired. Blaine looked down at Kurt, who was grinning at him, and he smiled back. His eyes involuntarily began to shut and he began to fall into a soft sleep.

There was no doubt that Blaine was more tired than Kurt, who had already slept a few hours ago. Kurt smiled and watched as Blaine’s eyes shut and he fell asleep. Kurt himself was not sleepy enough to sleep but he was happy lying there with Blaine watching him sleep.
As soon as Blaine fell asleep, he drifted off into a dream He dreamt that he was at Hogwarts and saw a few people from McKinley there too. He walked around from class to class with the Weasley twins until Transfigurations, when they left him and went to another class. The Gryffindor’s had that class with the Hufflepuff’s, and Blaine spotted Kurt as soon as he entered the room. He broke out into a wide grin, both in the dream and in real life, and began to walk towards him. Cedric beat him to it and took the empty seat next to Kurt, giving him a small peck as he did so. Blaine’s grin fell and he squirmed in real life, not knowing he was doing so.

Kurt was lying watching Blaine sleep when he saw a huge grin appear on his face, he place his hand gently on Blaine’s face stroking it, making sure not to wake him up. He smiled watching him; he then saw the grin fall and Blaine squirm gently knocking Kurt away.
Blaine was then yelled at to sit down in his dream, but his eyes never left Kurt and Cedric. He watched as Cedric whispered something into Kurt’s ear, and Kurt responded by smiling and blushing. Blaine clenched his fists as Cedric’s arm wrapped around Kurt and he was yelled at again for not paying attention. The Weasley twins flew in on their brooms at that moment and threw fireworks around the classroom, starting havoc. Blaine couldn’t help but smile, and right when the twins left, they swooped down and picked Cedric up, carrying him out of the room with them. Blaine had a proud smile on his face and got up to take Cedric’s seat, jealousy subsiding.
Kurt was watching Blaine no longer holding onto him since every time he went to Blaine knocked him back. He watched Blaine’s facial expression change making his change with them. Blaine’s proud smile was infectious causing Kurt to grin widely back at the dreaming boy. He heard a little mumble and leaned closer to hear what was said, it sounded like he said “Cedric”. Kurt buried his face in a pillow and laughed, Blaine was dreaming about Harry Potter.
The scene shifted as soon as Blaine sat down. He was now under the Eiffel Tower, in line to buy tickets. He felt a hand wrap around his and he looked around, seeing Kurt standing there with him. Blaine grinned and the two got into a conversation about the cold. A vendor walked by them, holding a Paris scarf. Kurt looked at Blaine with hopeful eyes and Blaine laughed, both in the dream and in real life, before walking over and buying Kurt one of his precious scarves.
Kurt took Blaine’s hand just like in Blaine’s dream and smiled at him. Kurt couldn’t help but laugh when Blaine did and he rested his head on his chest. He wasn’t overly tired yet so he carried on watching the movie and watching Blaine sleep.

When the two got on to the elevator, Kurt clung to Blaine, acting scared. The pair didn’t even bother to go out onto the balcony and headed towards the second, longer elevator that took them up to the very top. Everyone disappeared and it was just Kurt and Blaine in the elevator. The ride was taking forever, so Blaine sat on the floor. Kurt sat in his lap and kissed his cheek, making him smile. When the elevator opened, Kurt and Blaine were on top of the Empire State Building. It was also empty of all people. The scene switched again and they were lying down on a blanket in Central Park, Kurt’s head lying on his chest.
Kurt hugged Blaine tight when a part of the movie made him jump. When it was over he looked at the sleeping smiling boy he was lying on and kissed his cheek. He moved his head into a comfortable position on Blaine’s chest arms still wrapped around him.
Blaine watched as Kurt was pointing things out while they were lying in Central Park. He stopped pointing things out and began to talk about something, but Blaine was distracted by the shiny gold band clinging to Kurt’s ring finger. Blaine raised his hand right in front of his face, realizing he was wearing one identical to the one on Kurt’s finger. This had to be his favorite part of the dream, and he muttered Kurt’s name before breaking out into a gigantic grin.
Kurt looked up at Blaine who was holding his hand out in the hair examining it. He couldn’t help but laugh, he looked so funny. He went back to watching the movie when he heard Blaine mutter something and break out into a huge grin, it sounded like his name. Kurt leaned up and very gently kissed Blaine’s lips making sure not to wake him up. “I love you” he whispered before turning back to the film.
The scene shifted again, much to Blaine’s dismay. Blaine was with Kurt….at McKinley. The rings were gone off of their fingers, filling Blaine with a feeling of sadness that showed on his face. Kurt was dressed in the outfit from the picture Blaine loved, and he reached out to wrap his arms around him. Rachel and Finn walked by, to wrapped up in each other to notice anyone else in the hall. Karofsky was nowhere in sight, but Blaine still felt protective of Kurt and pulled him into a closer hug.
Kurt could feel Blaine’s arms wrap around him, he smiled and hugged him back. He heard Blaine say hello to Rachel and Finn and then pulled Kurt in for a closer hug. What was Blaine dreaming about? Lots of random things were happening; this must have been some dream.
Blaine followed as Kurt walked through the school, not sure where he was going. They walked into a room where everyone on New Directions sat in two rows, watching an adult at the front of the room. Blaine recognized the man as the director of New Directions, Mr. Schue, he thought. Kurt grabbed his hand and led him to two of the empty chairs, sitting him down in one of them. Kurt sat on one side, and Puck sat on the other side. Kurt was talking to Mercedes about something, and Puck started a conversation with Blaine about football. He responded with enthusiasm and flung his arm around Kurt’s shoulders as they both talked to people on either sides of them.
Kurt held Blaine’s hand as he closed his eyes trying to sleep. He was listening to the sounds around him, the sound of Blaine’s breathing and the sound of the television. He was almost asleep when Blaine’s arm wrapped around him startling him causing him to wake.
Blaine was talking to Puck about football when Kurt pulled him up to the front and announced they would be singing together. Blaine grinned and shrugged, not previously knowing. The music began to play, and Blaine recognized the song, As Long as You’re Mine from Wicked. Kurt sang the first verse and Blaine watched him in a daze. He sang the part Fiyero sang when it was his turn, taking Kurt’s hand as he did. New Directions was looking at them with proud eyes. “Maybe I’m brainless. Maybe I’m wise….”
Kurt was laughing at Blaine for talking about football, and he thought he was bad for singing in his sleep? Wait a second, Kurt thought, Blaine’s now singing? That’s As Long as You’re Mine from Wicked. When Blaine sang the Fiyero part Kurt’s heart melted, even though when he was sleep singing he wasn’t as good it was still sweet.

The scene shifted once again, and Blaine stopped singing. He was on a beach at night time, sitting by himself with his guitar. He was playing riffs and looking at the moon’s reflection on the water. The scene was quiet and extremely peaceful…. and completely lacking Kurt. A ring was on his finger, however, giving him reassurance. The wind blew on his face and a figure wrapped his arms around Blaine, but he couldn’t tell who it was. He assumed it was Kurt and kissed the figure’s cheek.
The movie had finished so he got up to go and put a new one on as he couldn’t sleep. After putting on a new movie he went to the place where he hid his journal and got it out before climbing back onto the bed. Flicking through the pages he got to a page with a photo, the photo was of him and Blaine. He smiled and continued going through the journal until he got to a clean page. He was writing when he heard something come from Blaine’s mouth, he looked over trying to listen.
Blaine looked up and noticed the figure was, in fact, Kurt. He smiled until he noticed the rings on both of their fingers dissolve. Blaine felt something in his pocket, and he put his hand in his pocket trying to identify it. It was a small velvet box. Oh my god, Blaine thought. Is this really what I think it is? His hand opened the box, keeping it in his pocket the entire time. Yep. It was. Kurt was beginning to sit down next to him, but for some reason Blaine asked him to stay standing and turned to face him.
Kurt put his journal away and went to sit back on the bed when Blaine told him to stand. Kurt stood and looked puzzled down at Blaine. What was he doing? He didn’t talk this much in his sleep when he was drunk, or was this a sober thing?
