Leaving felt awful.

With their arms wrapped around each other, Blaine whispered in his ear “I’ll be out of here before he’s born, I promise”.

It was so low only the two boys could hear.

“You won’t even have to go to prison…we’ll make sure of it” Kurt whispered back, then hearing on of the policemen clear his throat, to signal the boys to separate, though Blaine wouldn’t let go of Kurt’s hand.

“Blaine…” Kurt said knowing that he needed to leave soon.

“Just…” Blaine lifted Kurt’s hand a placed a small kiss on each finger and then one on his thumb before then kiss the top of hand. He let out a deep sigh before letting go.

Kurt could he his own heart break as he watched the policemen lead Blaine out the room.

“Mr. Hummel, your friends are waiting for you in the waiting room” The policewomen informed him. He just nodded in reply, he didn’t feel like speaking to one of the people who would be watching his boyfriend like a hawk.

Kurt walked down the same hall he walked down a few hours ago in to the very same dull waiting room. He couldn’t help but smile at the scene in front of him.

Mercedes and Sugar were on the seats along the wall, both asleep and he was pretty sure Sugar was drooling. Tina was on the floor a few feet away, also asleep. However Santana was sitting next to Tina on the floor, magazine in hand.

She looked over the top of the magazine after hearing the door close from behind Kurt. She could see his eyes full of un fallen tears, she dropped her magazine, stood up and walked over to the teen. Then she took him into her arms, letting him crying into her shoulder.

“Shh…It’s gonna be okay” Santana cooed to comfort him “He’s gonna be okay, I promise you Kurt.”

The ride home was quiet, no one knew what to say to Kurt. Well Sugar fell straight back asleep so she wasn’t talking much anyway.

The arrived back at Mercedes house, and all made their way back to her room. Her parents still asleep, so no need to tell them that they were back.

Kurt sighed.

It was the first sound he’d made since he re-joined the girls.

“I…I want to go home.” he simply said, then moved to grab his bag.

“Kurt, we’ll drop you off, you’re dad wont want you turning up on his door step with no one with you” Tina said.

“No, not my dad’s home, my home…with Blaine” He said making his way out the bedroom.

They all drove back to the apartment. Sugar woke up after a few minutes of the second drive, asking all sorts of questions. Only a few were answered.

Once they arrived, Kurt had a stab of emotions hit him when they opened the door to the empty apartment.

Kurt excused himself to go get changed back into his pyjamas in his bedroom…Blaine’s room. While leaving the girls to either get back in their pyjamas or leave if they wanted to. But no one did.

Once the door closed to the messy teenagers room, they girls just looked at each other.

“I feel so bad for him” Mercedes said.

“Who wouldn’t?!” Santana said, her voice slightly raised “Not only has he lost someone who means so much to him, he now risks raise a child alone for a few years. That baby will be born with Blaine’s hair and/or eyes…something in that child will always remind him of Blaine! And he wont be there to see it if we don’t help!”

Everyone looked at Santana in shock.

They’d never seen her care so much for something that wasn’t herself, Britney or her family.

“Santana’s right” Tina said “We need to help these two out, if not Kurt will be more depressed then he’s ever been!”

“Well, what can we do!? We don’t have the money for a lawyer!” Mercedes said, pointing out what she thought was the obvious.

“We don’t, but we know someone who does” Santana said then turned her head towards Sugar, who was painting her nails then drying them by waving a fan of o0ne dollar bills over them.

“No way! I’m not having you pay from a lawyer!” Kurt argued with the girls. He was sitting in his usual spot on the couch, with the girls sitting around him.

“Please Kurt! I want to, you get Blaine back and we get to see you happy. It’s a win-win situation!” Sugar said, with an adorable smile on her face.

“I don’t want to go through my life knowing I’m gonna have to own you all that money. Plus, as much as I want to see Blaine, I don’t want to have to take money from one of my best friends to do it” Kurt told her.

He did want Blaine back, more then anything. But having someone else give a hell lot of money for it to happen, makers him feel awful.

“Please Kurt, we don’t want to see you all depressed and surely its bad for the baby. Think of what that poor little mixture of you and Anderson will be think! He’ll want his dad back by the time he’s born.” Santana told him, moving from the floor up to sit next to him on the couch.

Once again, she hugged him, wanting him to know she meant what she said.

Kurt sighed into her shoulder then pulled back.

“Okay” He simply said.

“Okay!?” Sugar squealed, then jumped up to hug him as well.

“Yes, You can get the lawyer” Kurt smiled, him smiling made the girls smile.

They all hugged, celebrating Kurt being happy, the baby being happy and Blaine getting out of the place he didn’t deserve to be in.
