“Makes a change.” Kurt said, as he sat up from lying on the couch. He looked up at the boy sitting on the window ledge.
It was their last few days before returning to school. The rest of Christmas had been a bit depressing and on New Year’s Blaine went out to another party, again leaving Kurt at home.
“Are you thinking of telling the glee club?” Blaine asked as he crushed then flicked the now burnt out cigarette out the open window. He had vowed to stop after Kurt told him that second-hand smoke was bad for both him and the baby.
Kurt sighed and shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know. I mean I know I have to... but I don’t know how to.” Kurt explained.
“I know what you mean, but it’s just.” Blaine sighed, “Once people find out, that’s when the questions start coming and we-I mean you, won't know how to explain them.” Blaine said, as he walked over and sat on the coffee table that was opposite to the couch .
“What do you mean me!?” Kurt questioned angrily.
“Well, they won’t know about…us.” Blaine gestured between the two of them.
“Oh of course, because I wouldn’t want to ruin your ‘perfect’ reputation now would I!?” Kurt said in sarcastic tone.
“Come on, if people found out, it would ruin both our lives.” Blaine argued back.
“So this baby is ruining your life.” Kurt said as a statement and not a question.
Blaine stayed quiet.
“Unbelievable!” Kurt yelled as he got up and stormed out the room. Blaine flinched when the guest bedroom door slammed shut.
Blaine didn’t mean it to come out like that, not really anyway. He did and didn’t like this baby.
He didn’t like it because it means he would have to buckle down and be a father.
However he did like…love this baby because it was his and Kurt’s, that was a good thing, right?

Kurt made his way down towards the doctors office through the pure, blank white hallways. Although he wouldn’t he able to find out the gender yet, it was still amazing being able to see the baby resting inside of his stomach.
He’d been texting Blaine all day, but the appointment was booked on the first day back at school, meaning it was hard getting a hold of him.
He knocked on the door, and opened as soon as he heard a friendly voice shout ‘come in!’
Kurt walked into the familiar office he’d visited only a number of weeks ago. He saw Olivia sitting by her desk, typing out on the keyboard quickly then pressing the ‘Enter’ button with anger to send her e-mail.
“Bad day?” Kurt asked as he took a seat in the examination table.
Olivia sighed, “Not for me.”
Kurt gave a questioning look. She made her way over to the boy and sat down on the chair next to the table.
“As you know, there are very few with your, condition. Someone in the department must have found out somehow, and told others.” She explained, after a sigh she continued, “Meaning that people are going to find out, and could become a global issue.”
Kurt was just staring blankly into space, his breathing shallow and heart beating fast.
“The world is going to find out that I'm a freak…” he muttered under his breath, his voice a sour tone.
“Of course not honey.” Olivia cooed as she lifted off her seat, and moved to sit next to him on the table in a very unprofessional manner, wrapping an arm around his lean shoulders.
“Maybe that was a bad way to start this conversation.” She said, both of them then cracking a small smile. “We’ll cross that bridge if and when it happens, alright?” she told him as she moved away from his figure, and back to her chair to maintain her doctoral image.
“Let’s begin then!” Olivia announced with a warm smile.

Blaine hadn’t done anything, all he was doing was walking down the hall, ignoring his phone that was bleeping like mad then suddenly he was pinned against the locker.
When he looked up he saw that Finn Hudson was the idiot holding him up.
“WHAT!?” Blaine yelled in both anger and frustration.
“Just tell me!” Finn yelled back, people around the two were suddenly interested and gathered around them.
“What Frankenteen!?” Blaine asked, his voice still raised.
“This thing with Kurt. Don’t act like you don’t know, I’ve seen you two getting together secretly, so TELL ME!” Finn was angry and annoyed.
Burt and his mom kept talking about Kurt’s ‘little secret’. But whenever he asked, they would ignore him or just brush it off.
“Didn’t we go through this already? He’ll tell you, it’s not fair for me to.” Blaine explained, his voice not as raised as before.
“No! He’s been avoiding me since we got back. I texted and emailed him all throughout Christmas and of course he didn’t reply. When Christmas came around, me and my mom went to his house to be with his dad, we did nothing festive. My mom said she couldn’t because the whole ‘family’ wasn’t there! I want to know, I have to know!” Finn told him.
“Oh so sad.” Blaine preached in a sarcastic tone. “Poor you, you know what I did for all of my Christmas's? I sat in my room all day, waiting for my grandparents to leave, to wait for my parents to go out drinking for the night. Once they did, I finally came out of my room to eat. They hated me. You’re lucky that you have a family!” Blaine finished and was about to walk off before getting slammed and pinned back against the cold locker doors.
“Tell me!” Finn screeched yet again, his temper raising back to normal.
“No.” Blaine simply replied.
The more Finn yelled, the more Blaine's anger fueled up inside of his body, causing him to engage back in the yelling.
“Look man, I can keep this up all day. So, tell me!” Finn half-complained, half-shouted.
“NO!” Blaine screamed
“Tell me!”
“No!”
“Tell Me!”
“No!”
“TELL ME!“
Blaine was super pissed off now.
“TELL ME RIGHT NOW!”
“FINE, HE’S PREGNANT!”
A gasp of shock flew through the audience. But Blaine only cared about the loud and heavy footsteps running away, echoing a quiet sob coming from that very same direction.
