He let out something between a scream and a moan that he was sure whoever was next door, would be able to here.

That woke him up.

Kurt shot up from his place on the couch, panting and sweating slightly. He placed a hand on his still slightly flat stomach, holding it almost protectively. That wasn’t the first time he’d had that dream, or nightmare, whatever people would call that.

Thankfully he was alone in the house, his dad had found him this morning throwing up his breakfast and insisted he stayed home. Burt still had to go to work though, so gave the boy specific instructions to relax and keep checking his temperature. So here he was, lying on the sofa, wearing only a grey long sleeved top and black sweatpants (for the love of fashion sake…)

He let out a sigh, that echoed around the empty living room, as he laid back down on to the couch. The dream was repeating itself nearly every night, it was true though.

He was going to be alone. He didn’t have the guts to tell his dad, Blaine still seems distant and the glee club will probably just tell him he’s stupid or be annoyed that he slept with Blaine.

Maybe he should consider adoption, nit that he wouldn’t love this baby with all his heart. But he/she deserved a good home and at the minute, Kurt couldn’t give this baby that. Quinn gave Beth up and so far was getting her life on track but still sometimes he could see in her eyes how much she missed her.

He gently rubbed his hand over his clothed stomach, he continued doing this and looking down at the slight bump, he smiled gently at it. It felt really calming and a bit addictive. It was true, pregnant people did have a thing for rubbing their stomachs, or so he had read about.

A knock on the door pulled him out his thoughts, he looked at the time, 11:23. Who would be wanting his attention now?

He pulled himself off the couch, crossed his arms over his stomach, so whoever was at the door didn’t see the small bump and walked across the hall to the front door.

He opened the door with one hand, the other still on his stomach and was shocked at who was standing there.

Blaine.

“Umm…Hi” Kurt said still a bit shocked.

“Hey” Blaine smiled, there it was again, that smile which made ever boy or girl at school melt.

“C…can I help you?” Kurt asked.

“Yeah, I umm…saw that you weren’t at school and since we needed to finish the project we’ve been working on in class today, I thought I should one, come check on you since…you know” his voice trailed off a bit but then continued “and two, I need a good grade”.

Blaine had decided to trust his cousin to watch his house while he went to school but soon changed his mind once he heard that Kurt wasn’t at school.

Kurt smirked “Thanks and of course how selfish of me to keep you from a good grade…” he said the last part with some bitchiness in his voice, he stepped a side to let Blaine in.

“Hormones?” he asked.

“They come and go” Kurt told him, Blaine smiled again. They moved towards the living room and sat down on the couch.

“So how are you dealing with…” again his voice trailed off but carefully pointed a finger at Kurt’s stomach.

“Good just you know…” an awkward silence fell upon the two. Kurt looked up to see Blaine staring at him, he was about to open his mouth to make a bitchy comment about him staring but Blaine got in there first.

“I want to be a part of it you know?” Blaine said quietly but Kurt could hear him. The hazel eyed boy looked down at his lap.

“Really? I thought you were the kind of person who fucked and left?”

Ok, so he did get a bitchy comment in.

“Look, I don’t know why but for some reason I really care about this baby” he took a small breath and the next part he said was quiet “and about you”

Kurt was sure he stopped breathing for a moment, he cared.

“Really?” Kurt asked again, Blaine just nodded.

This time it was Kurt who let out a small breath of air, the awkward silence fell again.

“Does your dad know?” Blaine asked. Kurt shook his head.

“Are you going to?”

“Your full of questions aren’t you?” Kurt replied, both boys smiling this time, but Blaine shrugged at the same time.

Kurt sighed “Maybe, I mean, he’s gonna find out anyway but he knows about my…condition and had always told me to be careful”

Blaine nodded to show he understood about Kurt’s problem. “Why don’t you tell him, today” Blaine asked. Kurt looked at him wide eyed and if he just said ’2 + 2 was 46’

“Let me explain” Blaine said seeing the expression on Kurt’s face “you don’t have to do it alone, I’ll be here to give you support”

Kurt was speechless, he smiled at the boy and then felt a tear roll down his cheek. He wiped it away quickly then laughed slightly and just mumbled “Hormones”. Blaine chucked at him.

The two boys spent the rest of the day watching films, arguing over which ‘Harry Potter’ was better and learning a bit more about each other.

Kurt didn’t notice the time, so was shocked when he heard the door open and slam shut.

“Hey Kiddo, how was-… who’s this?” Burt asked seeing his son and a boy he’d never meet watching a film in the living room.

“Oh, dad this is Blaine, he’s…” he looked at Blaine then back to his dad “…a friend, He came to check if I was alright since I wasn’t at school.” Kurt explained.

“Oh right, Okay” Burt said not knowing how to react to find Kurt and a strange boy together, who had been alone the whole day.

“Actually, Mr Hummel, me and Kurt needed to talk to you about something” Blaine told him, turning up his dapper charm. Burt sat down in his arm chair, which was next to the couch the boys were on.

“Alright then” He said.

“We’ll before we tell you, we want to tell you we didn’t know this could happen and that it was a compete mistake” Blaine defended himself and Kurt.

“Go on, tell me” Burt told him, now wondering what the hell they were talking about.

“Well, do you remember letting Kurt go to a party at Rachel’s house around two mouths ago or so?”

Burt nodded so Blaine continued.

“Well, it sort of go a bit out of hand and…”

“You need to hurry up and tell me boy” Burt threatened, Blaine gulped for the first time in a long time he was feeling very nervous.

“Well…he…I, we…”

“Dad im pregnant” Kurt interrupted Blaine, Burt looked at Kurt as if he lost him mind.

“You mean because of the whole…condition thing right…?” Burt asked showing no emotion so far. Kurt nodded.

Burt said nothing but got up out his seat and walked upstairs. Kurt and Blaine looked at each other in confusion, then they hear a loud bang come from the hall.

They jumped up and ran to the downstairs hall to see in the middle of the hall was a suitcase, they looked up and saw Burt looking over the banister at them.

“Dad, w…what are you doing!?” Kurt asked stilling looking up.

“Well your going to need a suitcase aren’t you?” He said, he saw the boys were confused then explained “I’m going to get a shower and get out of my work clothes, by the time I get out, I want you out my house Kurt” he then turned and walked in to the bathroom. Blaine looked over at Kurt, who was stunned in to silence and had tears in his eyes.

Blaine, not caring about anything that was going on at school or his reputation, wrapped his arms around Kurt and held him in to a tight embrace, Kurt wrapped his around Blaine’s waist and cried into his shoulder.

Blaine told Kurt to stay there when they pulled away. Kurt just nodded then leaned again the nearest was and slid down it and sat on the floor. Blaine felt so bad for the boy but grabbed the suitcase and ran up the stair’s.

He found Kurt’s room and quickly opened his wardrobe and pulled out all the clothes he could fit in the suitcase then ran in to Kurt’s bathroom and grabbed anything from there that looked important.

Once he was back in the bedroom he took anything important, pictures, his ipod, and a few DVD’s. It wasn’t until he was about to leave the room he saw the sonogram picture on top of his desk. Blaine smiled at it then took it and placed it in his pocket before taking the suitcase downstairs.

Kurt looked up at him “You're really making me leave!” he yelled at Blaine.

“Kurt lets just get out of here for now and we’ll talk to his once he calmed down” Blaine held Kurt up off the floor then taking the suitcase into his hands again and walked over to the door and opened it for Kurt.

“I don’t want to leave” Kurt said, his voice thick and shaky.

Blaine smiled sympathetically “Come on” he held out his spare hand for Kurt to take. Kurt nearly didn’t take it but they heard the upstairs shower cut off and a door open, Kurt took Blaine’s hand and the hazel eyed boy closed the door quickly behind him.

“So smart ass where am I going to live!?” Kurt asked, still angry Blaine was helping his father by making him leave.

Blaine began to walk away then turned to the boy and smiled.

“With me”
