The rest of the weekend was fun. They didn’t need booze like Puck suggested, they were happy to have some time with each other.

Burt and Carole arrived home on Tuesday night, to a clean house and the only four people that should be their. “Hello guys, and girl” Burt said as he walked in to the living room, where Kurt, Blaine, Finn and Bella was.

Burt picked up Bella from the floor were she was playing and gave her a kiss on her head “Hello beautiful we missed you” he smiled.

“Thanks dad” Kurt said smiling though. Burt grinned back “You know what I mean, but we missed you guys as well, don’t you worry” he sat down but Bella back down and placed the teething ring next to her, since no one wanted her to bite them anymore, she crawled to it smiling as she took it in to her mouth.

“So what have you guys had a good weekend?” Burt asked. “Yeah, we just looking at wedding stuff and had fun with Bell” Blaine lied, well they did have fun with Bella. Burt smiled “So what is happening with the wedding?”.

“We’re think of a Autumn wedding, and we also thought about it being in New York” Kurt said. Burt smiled “Great but so soon?” he asked.

“Yeah, we can’t wait to get married” Kurt said as Blaine linked their hands together. It wasn’t that Burt didn’t want them to get married but him and Kurt’s mom had been together for about six years before they got married and Kurt and Blaine were only nearly two, he did get married quicker to Carole but Kurt was his son, and he could still remember him being a baby and now he was getting married and had a family.

“Dad…Dad? Dad?” Kurt said snapping his fingers in front of Burt’s eyes as he snapped back into reality “You ok?” he asked. Burt smiled “Yeah im alright”

“You know if you bite me one more time I will bite back” Blaine joked at Bella who was sitting in his lap on the floor in the nursery, her brown hair was getting longer and could be put in a little ‘pineapple’ style, which looked adorable.

Bella giggled then moved off his lap crawling around the room looking for her stuffed unicorn Brittany got her, and she never lets it out her sight for more then five minutes. Blaine smiled and got up to get a book to read to her, he picked up a book and turned around to see Bella holding on to the chair in the corner trying to stand. Blaine’s eyes widened.

“Kurt! KURT!” he yelled down the hall, Kurt came rushing in. “What?” he asked in worry since he knew Blaine was in here, Blaine pointed to the girl in the corner. They both watched Bella, she gently pulled her self up, a bit wobbly but she held herself up then turned her head to her daddies and smiled.

“Oh My God! Bella your standing!” Kurt said scooping her in to his arms holding her close as she giggled again. “Why are you growing up so fast!” Blaine said coming up behind them, wrapping his arms around Kurt’s waist resting his head on the shoulder Bella’s head was on and kissed her cheek.

They took her downstairs where to rest of the family were. Kurt put her down near the couch on the floor, then sat down next to Blaine.

“Bella?” Blaine said, the little girl turned her head to her name “Show Grandpa, Grandma and uncle Finn what you can do”.

Bella smiled before seeing all eyes where on her; she really did love attention. She grabbed the couch cushions and pulled herself up, still wobbling but staying up.

Kurt and Blaine scanned the room to the other three family members in the room, Carole was smiling and Burt and Finn were wide eyed. Bella giggled before gently falling down, landing on her bottom.

“See what I said, growing up too fast” Blaine said smiling but frowning a little bit. It was true she really was growing up faster then some children her age but they always knew she was just that little bit special, well they knew she was a miracle. He loved her so much, it was like his love to Kurt, words just couldn’t explain it. Which is why it was hard watching her begin to do simple things like standing, sure she was only still little and wasn’t even one, he felt like his little girl was already grown up.

“Okay guys, im afraid I have some bad news” Mr Schue announced in glee club, everyone’s heads turned to the glee club teacher with a look of worry on everyone’s faces.

“Nationals wont be held in New York City this year” He told them, most groaned and a lot of ‘What why!’ and ‘your joking!’ came from a few people.

“The show choir judges are unable to book anywhere in New York so have had to relocate, so now Nationals will be held in Chicago!” he said, a few cheered but everyone really wanted to go to New York.

“I know its bad guys but don’t worry we’ll have fun in Chicago” The teacher said.

“Fun! I planned on going to see nearly every Broadway show while I was there, so I could take tips so I can get out of this stupid town!” Rachel said nearly yelling.

“Whoa, calm down Rachel no need to shout, they do shows in Chicago, not that you will be able to if we have to practise” Kurt said to her.

“I’ll shout if I want to! I bet you shouted giving birth to that…that girl!” Rachel said boldly.

“That girl has a name and yeah what if I did, at least I have a family and a future, what do you have? And anyway I think complaining about a show and giving birth are two completely different things!” Kurt said to her.

“You go Hummel!” Santana hollered. Rachel huffed and crossed her arms over her chest sitting back. Glee ended soon after, Kurt, Blaine and Finn drove home together.

They got home and saw a police car sitting outside of the Hummel-Hudson house, all three boys heart’s dropped. They got inside and saw Burt holding Carole who was crying, with a police man writing down notes.

Where was Bella?

Finn rushed over to his mom, Kurt and Blaine stood there. “Dad?” Kurt was the first to speak. Burt looked up at his son “What’s going on?” Kurt asked.

“B…Bella’s gone! Burt said. Blaine wrapped a arm around Kurt’s waist, since it looked like he was going to faint. “What?” Blaine asked feeling tears form in his eyes, at this moment he didn’t care if he began to cry.

“We…we put her down for her nap, and it was boiling in her room so we left the window open, th…then we came back and she wasn’t there” Carole said through her tears.

Both Kurt and Blaine just froze, they couldn’t move, they felt nothing but numbness, they both had tears running down their checks and their hand laced together, but they couldn’t do anything. They were both sure they had stopped breathing.

They just wanted the ground to swallow them up and take them to Bella, they wanted to be able to answer the questions the police man was asking.

They wanted their little girl back.
