Sometimes I think that you were meant to walk down those steps on that exact day, at that exact time, and that I was meant to be there at the bottom. I was obviously was completely oblivious at the time but I can see it now. There were at least two different paths that could have led me to the Warblers that day and I came incredibly close to taking one of them. The only thing that made me change my mind was the fact that I wanted to drop off an assignment to one of my classes on the way. I’m not one to give teachers a whole lot of credit, but if it means that I got you out of it, I guess I owe her a thank you.
After I dropped off my assignment, I ran into you. You looked so innocent, so… well, pretty to be honest. I dragged you off with me and couldn’t help but hold your hand as we ran through the corridors. It felt electrifying and I still wasn’t even aware of what you had in store for me.
