"All I'm saying is that it might not be such a bad idea. They're insiders and they seem willing enough to help us."

"Jeremiah," siad Craig, irritably, "shut up for a moment and think about what you're saying. They may have helped you this once, but who's to say they're not going to tell their employers what happened? It's too risky to send anyone in there again."

Kurt sighed and rubbed his temples. The werewolf and vampire had been going on like this ever sense Jeremiah got back from Club Blood of All. Jeremiah had suggested that they try and create a pact with the vampire Tammy and the human Sabrina, but to do that, they would need to reveal at least part of what they were up to.

Everyone had immediately taken sides, not that it had done much good. Craig and Jeremiah were content to fight it out with each other rather then listen to the opinions of anyone else.

Kurt glanced at Blaine who caught his eye. The count rolled his eyes and shook his head slightly. Kurt smiled faintly at him. At least he wasn't the only one completely annoyed with how this was going.

"Fine!" snapped Craig. "If you want to risk blowing this entire thing and have Corcoran's wrath thrown at you, be my guest!"

"Craig, please clam down. Tammy and Sabrina will be beneficial to the cause and we don't have to tell them exactly what we're doing. They were willing to help me without hardly any persuasian except my word and the kind why I treated them. We don't have to involve them too much, just enough to try and smuggle the files on Pearlman out of the club.

"Once we have those, we won't need their help anymore. I think it could work, especially if we send the files to the king as a warning. He might even be grateful enough to negotiate with us and we would be one step closer to accomplishing our goal of freeing the humans and your own people."

Craig chewed at his bottom lip, mulling all this over. He let out an exasperated breath and ran his fingers through his hair in defeat.

"Fine, but don't tell them anything about us or who you work for just in case this all goes terribly wrong."

"Don't worry. I'll make sure that if anything goes wrong, I'll be the one to take the blame and suffer the consequences."

Craig seemed somewhat satisfied with this, but still not too sure about the whole thing.

"You're all dismissed," the werewolf said.

He rose and swept out the door, everyone else following a few minutes later.

Kurt and Blaine walked back to their room in silence, neither saying anything until the door was firmly shut behind them.

"So what do you think?"

Blaine quirked an eyebrow, "About what?"

"About this whole buisness of trusting the vampire and her blood whore. Do you think it's a good idea? You never said one or the other while Craig and Jeremiah were arguing about it."

Blaine sighed and ran a hand through his curls before smoothing them back into place.

"I don't think it's a particularly wise decision, no. However, I think Jeremiah does have a point about trying to get their help. We need all we can get, especially now that we know Pearlman is the one we're after."

Blaine's voice and expression turned dark at the mention of Pearlman's name. Kurt knew he was thinking about killing the other vampire as slowly and as painfully as possible after what he had done to Kurt.

Kurt took Blaine's hands, rubbing small circles over them with his thumbs. He ducked in and kissed Blaine softly on the lips.

"Relax, honey."

Blaine's hands stopped shaking and his muscles loosened marginally, his jaw remained tightly clenched, however.

"Do you want a massage?"

"No, thank you. I'll be fine."

The vampire freed his right hand from Kurt's grip and placed it behind the human's head. His fingers tangled in Kurt's thick hair and he pressed their lips together in a passion-filled caress.

They came up for air a moment later and Blaine dropped his forehead to Kurt's shoulder. He exhaled slowly and Kurt felt Blaine's warm breath on his neck. He pulled back and pressed his forehead to Kurt's.

"Perhaps we should go to bed. It's been a long night."

"When you say 'go to bed'...?"

Blaine chuckled softly, "And people accuse vampires of being horny."

"Shut up. I always need to confirm what you're talking about when it comes to sex. Besides, if you remember right, you were the one who wanted sex before me."

"That's just because you were nervous. You've initiated it plenty of times since then."

"I guess I am sort of tired right now," Kurt admitted. "Sex probably isn't on the menu tonight."

"That doesn't mean we can't be sickeningly sweet and cuddle as we fall asleep."

"Deal," Kurt laughed.

Karofsky and Rock arrived in New York City close to sunrise. They were forced to check into a run down motel near the train station, but Karofsky wasn't complaning.

The clerk barely looked at him as he paid for the room and she didn't bat an eye when he demanded to be left alone for the three days be planned to stay there.

'I can't go on like this,' Karofsky thought as he drank blood from Rock's wrist. 'I don't want to spend the rest of eternity running, but there's no way I'm turing myself into the police...

'Then again, I could always turn in the vampires who are uprising...I don't know enough information though so they probably won't believe me even if I told them the names of the few people I know to be a part of it...ah, fuck it!'

Karofsky pulled away from Rock and licked up the smeared blood on his lips.

Karofsky watched the wounds on Rock's wrist close up. The boy was starting to look pale and it wasn't because of the donation he had given his master.

"We need to find you food tomorrow," Karofsky told him, "and good food too, not the shit you've been living off of."

Rock nodded, "Yes, sir."

"You should sleep for now."

Rock nodded again and settled into the crook of Karofsky's arm.

The private jet landed and Tina, princess of the vampires, sighed.

She wished she could look out at the landscape, but she knew it was out of the question. Her father had decided to fly into New York so that the sun would be up by the time they landed.

He seemed to think this would deter assassins of their own species and any werewolves or humans who might have gone roghe wouldn't be able to get past the airport security.

"Welcome to New York City, Your Majesty," said an attendant who had been waiting for them in the hanger.

The vampire king nodded to the attendant. He never spoke directly to his subjects and Tina wondered if anyone aside from herself and the queen knew what his voice sounded like.

"The king is happy to be here," said his slave, Sherry.

Tina almost laughed out loud at that. She didn't think she had ever seen the king smile or show happiness towards anything. Let alone traveling around and making apperances.

Tina's own slave, Mike, squeezed her hand and she looked up at him. He gave her a reassuring smile and she returned it.

Mike was the only one she could talk to freely and she wondered what the king would think if he knew that she trusted her human more then him, the queen or the Royal Court in general.

"If you'll follow me, Your Majesties," said the attendant.

She ushered them into a grand buidling directly adjacent to the hanger.

"Father, may I be excused to my room?" Tina asked hopefully.

The king arched an eyebrow and nodded.

Tina thanked him and she and Mike went off to the room that had been hers ever sense she had been 'adopted' by the king and queen.

Once they were safely inside, Tina let out and explosive breath and Mike grinned at her.

"Are you upset about something, mistress?"

Tina glared at him, "Shut up. I don't understand why I even have to come with. I mean, all I ever do is sit in the background and glare at the cameras."

Mike shrugged, "That's no different then what the king does, except he's in the foreground."

Mike smirked and Tina slapped his arm good-naturedly.

"I hate this idea, absolutely hate it!" Blaine seethed, pacing the room furiously.

"We know, Blaine," said Nick, "but come on, even you would have to admit that you wouldn't be able to recognize him like this."

Blaine stopped and considered Kurt whose features had been altered beyond recognition. The boy's hair had been dyed a dirty-blonde that looked completly natural. Makeup had been added to his face to make his bone structure appear rougher and artificial hair had been added to his jaw line, making it look like he was in need of a shave.

Kurt sat up straighter and struck a pose for his lover.

"I would recognize his eyes," Blaine said finally.

"Well of course you would," said Puck, "you two sit there and stare at each other like it's a pastime."

Kurt and Blaine boths hot him an annoyed look.

"I don't like the idea either," Finn spoke quietly from the corner he was standing in. "Why couldn't Puck or I have done this?"

"Becuase neither one of you are as quick at Kurt," answered Jeremiah.

"Plus I look a lot more delicate then either of you and so no one would suspect me to be any good in a fight."

"Why can't I go with him instead?" Blaine demanded.

"You know why, Blaine," said Jeremiah. "Tammy and Sabrina wouldn't trust you even if you told them I sent you--especially when you consider the fact that you have to use makeup in order to get into the club."

"I'm sure they would understand...," Blaine trailed off.

Jeremiah smiled sympathetically at his old friend. He clapped a hand on Blaine's shoulder and squeezed gently.

"I'll be sure to protect him, Blaine, and I'm sure he'll protect me."

"Damn right," answered Kurt, sliding put of the makeup chair. Kurt had lifts in the shoes he was wearing and he now stood at six foot.

"I think the lifts are a bit much," stated Finn.

"You're just upset that you're not towering over everyone in the room at the moment," Kurt joked.

Finn smiled slightly at that.

"Be careful," said Blaine, "both of you."

He embraced Jeremiah before catching Kurt up in his arms and placing a hard kiss on the other man's lips.

"We will be," Kurt told him, smoothing a curl off of Blaine's forehead.

Kurt kissed him gently before stepping out of Blaine's arms and joining Jeremiah by the door.

"Remember," Jeremiah told them, "if we're not back in an hour, send someone in to look for us."

Everyone nodded and muttered assent.

Jeremiah sighed, "Right, let's get going then, Crow."

Kurt smirked at the allies Jeremiah had picked out for him.

"Whatever you say, master."
