Karofsky and Bentley opened the door and Pearlman had to force back his grin as he saw he saw the glorious, tight body walking so submissivly beside the vampire.

They were both incognito of course, but Pearlman knew it was them. He had a knack for remembering scents and he remembered the human's more then anyone else's.

He starting to get an erection just by watching how submissive the human looked. He couldn't wait until the little creature looked like that next to him.

Pearlman was so caught up in his fantasies that he almost missed the fact that the vampire shot Karofsky a suspcious glance as they walked past him.

'Perhaps I should try to learn their histories a bit better,' thought Pearlman. He shook the thought from his mind as the massur and his blood whore stopped in front of him.

"Good evening, sir," said the vampire.

"Hello," Pearlman ran his gaze up and down the human's body. "You have a very lovely blood whore."

"Thank you," the other vampire answered stiffly.

Pearlman disrobed and lay down on the massage table that had been set up in the chamber.

The massur squeezed the human's shoulder before instrucing the whore to sit down on the stool beside the table.

Pearlman shut his eyes as the pair prepared for their work. Pearlman's mind went to his plan on how to smuggle the whore away from this other vampire who he was still convinced stole what was rightfully his to begin with.

As Blaine picked up the knife he thought about plunging it into Pearlman's back.

Kurt caught his hesiation and cleared his throat. Blaine looked up at him and Kurt subtly motioned with his head to the room in general.

Blaine nodded, understanding. Too many people here anyway. He would never be able to away. Not to mention that fact that it would blow the entire operation if he did something that rash.

Blaine adjusted his grip on the handle of the knife and set the point against the crook of Kurt's arm.

Kurt bit his lip as his warm blood trickled down his elbow and onto Pearlman's back.

Pearlman groaned in pleasure beneath them and Blaine felt sick to his stomach. Which was really saying something for a vampire.

"More," Pearlman muttered.

Blaine clenched his teeth hard as he widened the cut he had made. More of Kurt's dark blood spurted out of the wound and Blaine guided his arm to drizzle the liquid across Pearlman's back.

Blaine's fingers twitched before he began massaging Kurt's blood into Pearlman's flesh.

In order to keep himself from attacking Pearlman in someway, Blaine turned his thoughts to their allies and hoped they were doing okay.
////
In fact, everything was going according to plan for their allies.

Thanks to the blueprints Tammy had given them, they were following the tunnel that would lead to the drain that in the pool of the chamber Pearlman rented out.

Each member of the group had a type of bomb that would cause a small explostion that should destroy the concret floor of the pool.

They halted at a juncture and Craig took each of the bombs from his allies. The rest of them squeezed themselves into the juncture that branched off from the tunnel that would lead to the pool.

Craig continued up the tunnel until he reached a cement bottom. There was a metal plug of some kind set into the bottom and Craig took this to be the drain.

The werewolf took a dagger out of his boot and began prying the metal plug out of its hole. The thing finally popped out water began to trickle slowly out of the hole.

Craig set about sticking the bombs to the underside of the pool around the hole. He tucked the plug into his shirt and put the dagger back in his boot before turning and heading back the way he had come.

"Okay," said Craig, "let's get back to the van."

The group of ten headed to the end of the tunnel they were now in and exited in the mantince room that it let out in.

The lot of them were dressed in clothing that one would mistake as belonging to a janitor from a distance. Their hope was that if any member of the club saw them they would think they were staff members.

Thanks to the club blueprints they were able to take the shortest route out of the club and back out onto the street.

They cut through alleyways until they reached their van again.

"Everything's in place then?" asked the driver of the van.

Craig nodded.

"Okay then. Let's hope this works."

The driver hit the detonator.
////
Screams came from those unfortunete enough to be in the pool as the bombs went off. Many of them were swept away in the rush of water and pulled under the club.

Pearlman scrambled off the table and stared in shock at the gapping hole in the floor, numbly pulling his robe on.

The rest of the vampires were just as shocked as he was and Kurt and Blaine made sure to look dumbfounded as well.

Blaine began counting seconds in his head as he waited for the police to arrive.

Jeremiah had acted as an anonymous tip earlier that evening. He had not given them any names since the police would never believe that Micheall Pearlman was behind the attack, but he had given a very detailed discription.

They should be arriving very shortly and Blaine was glad that they decided to be relibable on this occasion.

The cops burst through the door, service weapons aiming at Pearlman and the two gaurds by the door.

"Everyone stay where you are!" the chief shouted. "You," she turned her attention to Pearlman.

"Yes, officer?"

"You are under arrest for suspcion of starting a bomb threat here at Club Blood of All."

Pearlman gave a bark of laugther at that.

"Something funny?"

"Quite funny. You see, chief, that bomb just drug half of my friends down under the club. They could be dead for all I know. Why on earth would I want to do a thing like that?"

"That's what we'll find out down at the station," she replied.

She motioned for one of her underlings to take Pearlman into custady and Blaine couldn't belive that this would all be over soon. Once they took a blood sample from Pearlman and ran it through their system they would see who he was and the rebels could step forwards to explain their part in all of this.

Then, hopefully, the king would agree to negotiate with them and the humans would win their freedom.

That's when it all went horribly wrong.

Pearlman seized the knife from Blaine's hand.

Blaine turned to confront the other vampire, sure that he was about to try and hurt Kurt with it.

To his surprise, Pearlman was soon wrapping an iron tight grip around Blaine and pressing the knife to his throat.

"Take one step closer and I'll kill him. Do you idiots want someone to die on your watch?"

The police froze. Kurt, however, made a move to grab Pearlman's arm and tear it away from Blaine.

"I wouldn't be too hasty, sweetheart, you touch me and your master here will die. And trust me when I say that I don't want that to happen since you'd be more likely to resent me if I were the cause of his death."

Pearlman dragged a struggling Blaine over to the door where Bentley and Karofsky were waiting for him.

The gaurds followed Pearlman out the door.

Kurt was numb with shock, his body tense as a coiled spring.

He vagualy heard the police chief radio backup or something. He jumped when the vampire who had been instructed to handcuff Pearlman touched him on the arm.

"What's your name?"

"What do you care?" he snapped back.

"I don't have time to deal with a snippy slave. What's your master's name?"

'Kurt, don't dare tell them anything!' Jeremiah's voice suddenly sounded in his ear. 'Just go after Blaine!'

Kurt didn't need telling twice. He dug his heel into the floor as he prepared to run.

The cop beside him was obviously growing fustrated with him.

Taking a deep breath, Kurt charged out the door and sprinted down the hallway aimed the curses of the police officers.

Pearlman forced Blaine into the back of his limousine. Bentely and Karofsky slid in on either side of the count while Pearlman got into the passenger's seat.

"Drive!" he barked at the human at the wheel.

As the car screeched off down the street, Pearlman turned back to Blaine.

"Are you the bastard who stole that human from me?"

"I didn't steal any human from anyone."

Pearlman growled and grabbed Blaine by the hair.

Pearlman retracted his hand, shaking it in disgust.

"My God, your head's like an oil slick!"

"Then don't touch it," snapped Blaine.

He was past anger now, the emotion being replaced by a strange calm.

Pearlman reached out and rubbed the back of his hand roughly against Blaine's cheek.

The count pulled away from with a sharp hiss.

Pearlman studied the spot he had rubbed at and then sniffed the back of his hand.

"I knew it. You're wearing makeup, which means that that beautiful creature who was acting as your whore was indeed the precious thing you took from me. Of course, I suppose I knew that once I smelled his blood. I can't wait to taste it."

Blaine snarled and lunged forwards.

Pearlman didn't even flinch as Karofsky and Bentely grabbed his arms and pulled him back.
////
Kurt fell to his knees panting.

He had run as far and as fast as he could and managed to see the car disappear behind a corner, going much faster then the legal speed limit.

He buried his face in his hands and screamed.

When he his throat became raw and he had to stop or else lose it entirely, Jeremiah spoke in his com-device again.

'Kurt, where are you?'

Kurt looked up at the street sign and repeated the name to Jeremiah.

'Okay, stay there. Craig and the others are coming to get you.'

Kurt nodded even though he knew very well that the vamprie couldn't see him.

He rose shakily to his feet and back up under the eave of a building. He kept a lookout for the cops as he waited for his get away van.

He did not have long to wait.

Merecedes pulled him into a tight hug as he climbed inside and the doors were shut.

He hugged her back and looked up at Craig.

"We can follow them."

"No, Kurt. We have to handle this rationally."

"Don't you fucking talk to me about rationality! This is our chance. Pearlman ran from the police and took a count hostage. We need to catch them now and turn them in."

Craig looked like he was about to argue the point and then bit his lip.

'He's right,' Jeremiah's voice came through the speakers in the van. 'Go after them.'

"Which way did they go, Kurt?" the driver asked.

Kurt told him and they were soon speeding down the street after the dark limo.
