Blaine was rolling on the bed, tangling himself in the blankets, when he heard someone clearing their throat at the foot of the bed. He opened his eyes and was greeted by Kurt, standing there, like the image of perfection he was, smiling mischievously down at Blaine. Blaine lifted himself onto his elbows as Kurt crawled along the bed, laying himself down so that his cheek lay across Blaine's abdomen. Blaine looked down to Kurt and was met with a coy look playing across Kurt's face, making Blaine feel faint. Kurt ran his hand across Blaine's chest, drawing patterns and tickling the skin beneath his slender fingers, causing the hair on Blaine's arm to stand.

Blaine's skin became more sensitive to the touch and he was hyper-aware of every movement Kurt made. Kurt dragged his hand down to Blaine's waist tantalizingly slowly until finally he reached the top of Blaine's pants, dipping his hand beneath the waistband. As Kurt moved his body up, he moved his hand lower and captured Blaine's mouth with his own. Kurt swiped his tongue over Blaine's bottom lip briefly before diving his tongue into the other boy's mouth, forcing dominance. It took all of the power Blaine had to contain the moan that was threatening to escape. Beads of sweat collected along Blaine's brow and across his chest.

"Oh my Lord! Blaine!" Blaine's entire body shook and he suddenly felt himself sinking into the mattress, farther and farther away from Kurt until...

"Your Highness!"

Blaine awoke with a start, breathing heavily and looking around the room frantically. The sweat on his brow made his curls stick to his forehead, and his erection caused the blankets that covered his torso to tent. Looking around, Blaine saw David looking slightly embarrassed and worried at the same time. His eyebrow was cocked, but he did not say another word on the matter.

Dreams like these were happening every night, and Blaine could hardly do anything to control them. Two weeks had passed since he saw Kurt, the real Kurt, and they had been absolute torture. The prince made it a mission each day to busy himself with political matters, hunting, and training so that he could try to escape his thoughts of Kurt Hummel. No matter what he tried, though, he could not get the boy's blue eyes, soft skin, and light pink lips out of his mind. Blaine knew then that he would have to find a way to get to Kurt without raising any suspicions.

"I think I need to go hunt for a while," Blaine said, turning to David who was busy collecting Blaine's clothing to be washed.

"Of course, your highness. Shall I call on your knights to accompany you, sire?" David asked, smiling politely.

"No, I believe I should go by myself. I need to clear my head," Blaine suggested, rising from his bed and moving to dress behind his room divider.

"Sire, I don't think that's wise," David said apprehensively. "Well, David, I don't believe that's for you to decide. Give me my chain mail and prepare my gear if you would be so kind," Blaine said with a bit of a bite to his tone. David sighed, but obliged. The prince had always been kind to David, but David also knew that when Blaine was challenged, his temper would falter. He gathered the prince's chain mail and tunic, and handed it over to Blaine before leaving to prepare the horse.

Blaine sighed once David had left, grabbing Kurt's letter and sliding it into the pocket of his pants before finishing getting ready. He wanted to keep any reminder of Kurt he could with him, never allowing it to leave his person, somewhat like a security blanket.

Minutes later, Blaine was riding into the woods, west of his kingdom to the village of Lima. This would be the only way he could leave without any questions being asked, and he was not about to let the opportunity pass. Blaine knew those woods better than anyone else, so the journey took him only half the time it would have taken any other person.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

As he rode into the village, he began to notice an increase in the number of eyes that were upon him. Maybe riding into town without some sort of disguise wasn't the best idea, Blaine thought to himself as the murmurs about him grew louder. Blaine realized that he would not be able to dismount his horse without answering a wave of questions as to why he was there, and having to listen to tales of woe from the villagers. Looking further into the crowd, he saw a pair of arms waving to him and pointing to the woods. The person waving was too short for Blaine to see properly, but they had the right idea. He would ride back into the woods and sneak back into the town. It wasn't the most tactful way Blaine wanted to make an entrance, but he realized he hadn't thought this far ahead. His only thoughts were revolving around getting closer to Kurt as his dreams swirled around his mind.

Back in the safety of the woods, Blaine was met by a girl with wide eyes and a smile that spread across her entire face. The girl was very pretty, with high cheekbones and a small frame. She couldn't have been any younger or older than Blaine was himself. She was running toward him, excitedly.

"Blaine! That's you right? Oh it must be you. You look just like Kurt explained!" The girl spoke animatedly, but Blaine was focused more on what she was saying.

"Wait, you know Kurt? And you-you know of me, too?" Blaine asked wearily, yet hopeful.

"Oh! Excuse me, I'm so rude. I tend to be more forward than I mean to be, and never really explain myself until I've confused everyone around me. That's so typical of me," she laughed and continued, "I'm Rachel. Rachel Berry, Kurt's best friend. And of course he's talked about you. Honestly, he hasn't stopped talking about you for weeks. You, and your hair, and your eyes, and - oh should I be calling you sire? I'm sorry, I've rambled far too much. I do that a lot, too."

Blaine stared at the girl with wide eyes and a worried look. He felt exhausted from only one minute with her, but if she was close to Kurt, then listening to her talk would just have to be worth it.

"No, you don't have to call me sire if you don't want to. At least not here in Lima," Blaine sighed, rubbing his temples to relax himself from the headache he was getting from Rachel's voice.

"Anyway, we should get you to Kurt, yes? I mean, I assume that's why you're here rather than lounging away in your palace," Rachel's voice drifted away, eyes twinkling with unspoken jealousy.

"Yes, I think that would be best. Wait, where is my horse?" Blaine looked around and couldn't see the Palfrey anywhere.

"Looks like he's walked back into town," Rachel commented as she squinted her eyes and looked back at the village square.

Suddenly, Rachel grabbed Blaine's hand and dragged him back into town, behind the houses and away from any noticing eyes. Blaine was stunned by Rachel's forcefulness. He had never been manhandled in his entire life, let alone by a small and obnoxious girl. He repeated Kurt's name like a mantra in order to keep himself from stopping and shaking the girl until she finally shut up. Finally, Rachel pulled Blaine into a small room and moved to light a candle.

"This is my home. I know it isn't much but it's enough. Now, stay here and keep quiet while I go get Kurt." Just as soon as she came, she was gone, and Blaine was left alone.

"So this is her house," Blaine muttered, looking around the small home. He had to admit that it was charming in it's own way, and was surprised to find that it was actually warm. Blaine shuffled around a bit, not wanting to disturb any of the items in Rachel's home, even though there were only a few things in sight.

He froze, realizing that he didn't know what he would even say to Kurt. Would Kurt think he was mental for coming here? Would he be happy to see him? Blaine guessed he would, remembering how Rachel said that Kurt talked about him to her. The very thought made Blaine's stomach flutter with nerves.

"-pulling so hard."

Blaine's breath stopped short when he saw Kurt being pulled into the house. He was still the very image of perfection, though he looked angry. Their eyes locked and Blaine noticed Kurt had stilled and stared at Blaine wide-eyed. Blaine stepped forward, knowing that he would have to make the first move.

"Hello," He said nervously, not even bothering to stop the smile that broke across his face.

"H-hi!" Kurt couldn't believe it. At first he thought he had been dreaming. There was no way the prince had come for him in this small village. Kurt suddenly felt very embarrassed, and covered the redness of his face with his hands.

"Oh, I can't believe you're here! I never wanted you to see this terrible village I live in," Kurt spoke through his hands, muffling himself.

"Kurt, no. Please, don't feel embarrassed. I came here for you. It would be silly of me to ever judge you based on something as small as where you live," Blaine pleaded, moving so that he stood only a foot away from Kurt. Blaine wanted nothing more than to take Kurt into his arms and kiss him senseless, but he had to remain in control. He would be damned if Kurt Hummel would ever make him lose his composure in public. In private, however... well that was yet to be determined.

"I'm sorry I left without saying goodbye!" Kurt practically shouted, throwing his hands over his mouth and turning an even brighter shade of red. Blaine chuckled.

"That's exactly why I'm here. You said in your letter that you thought I would think being with you was a mistake. Oh Kurt, I could never think that." Blaine finally closed the distance between he and Kurt, cradled Kurt's cheek in his hand and smiled to him sweetly. Kurt's eyes twinkled even in the low light, and he smiled back, moving into Blaine's touch.

"Oh! This is so romantic," Rachel squealed from where she had been standing. Kurt and Blaine were shaken from their stance, forgetting the girl was even there. Rachel clapped her hands together smiling.

"Uhh, Blaine. Would you like to come see my house?" Kurt said, eying the door and nodding.

"Yes, if that would be alright," Blaine said, turning to Rachel. "Thank you so much for finding Kurt for me." Blaine took Rachel's hand, kissing it lightly.

"Wait, no! Kurt, this isn't fair! I wanted to see how you two interact with one another. I promise I'll be quiet!" Rachel's words went unheard though as Kurt and Blaine quickly made their way out of the house and down the road to Kurt's. The crowd had died down, though there were a few stragglers waiting by Blaine's horse for his return.

Kurt ushered Blaine into his home, and locked the door. Blaine came from behind him and wrapped his arms around Kurt's waist, kissing the back of his neck. Kurt craned his neck to allow Blaine more access. Blaine sucked on the exposed flesh as Kurt hummed into it.

"Ahem." Both Kurt and Blaine froze and looked up to find a confused and slightly angry Burt standing in the doorway. The pair jumped away from each other and Kurt sputtered.

"Dad!"

"Hey kid. Who's this?" Burt pointed to Blaine, clenching his jaw as he waited for the response.

"Dad, uhh, this is Blaine," Kurt said, motioning for Blaine to step up.

"Wait, as in the prince you were going on and on about?" Burt questioned, visibly lightening his mood. Blaine let out the breath he had been holding and extended his hand to Burt.

"My name is Blaine, sir." Both Blaine and Burt froze at the word. Never in his life had he called another man sir, except for maybe his own father. Burt must have known this, because he looked at Blaine as if he had gone crazy.

"Please, your highness, call me Burt."

"Burt. Well, if you wouldn't mind, could you please call me Blaine as well? Being called 'your highness' or 'sire' makes me feel pretentious. And I don't want to cause a rift between us so early."

"Blaine then. Well, Blaine, what brings you to Lima?" Blaine moved back to Kurt's side and intertwined his fingers with Kurt's. Kurt perked up at this, and smiled as he looked at their hands laced together.

"Well I came for two reasons, really. Honestly, I really wanted to see Kurt. I've been thinking about him a lot and couldn't get him out of my mind," Blaine said, smiling to Kurt. "The second reason came from the first. I've been thinking about him a lot, and that got me thinking about why I met him in the first place. I wanted to see if the potion Ulrich had given to Kurt worked." Burt smiled.

"Yup, I'm the picture of perfect health now. Thank you. Kurt told me how you paid for it. I appreciate that more than you know." Blaine returned the smile, happy that Kurt's father seemed to like him. The three men stood awkwardly until Burt cleared his throat once more and excused himself to his own room. Kurt looked to Blaine and winked before pulling Blaine into his own room, closing the door.

Kurt's room was different from the rest of the small house. It was obviously meticulously designed with whatever Kurt could come up with. Though there was only a small bed and a desk, Kurt had draped a large burgundy curtain along his walls to heighten aesthetics and had placed a vase of flowers on the desk to brighten the room.

"I know it's small, but I did the best I could. One day, though, I'll live somewhere beautiful where I can decorate to my heart's desire," Kurt noted, voice drifting away dreamily. Blaine placed his hands at Kurt's waist while Kurt draped his arms around Blaine's neck.

"Well, I think it's beautiful. I'm sure if you had the right tools, you could give our designer a run for her money," Blaine commented. He then realized he would do anything to keep the smile on Kurt's face that the boy wore now. The boys looked at one another for a moment before Kurt leaned in and placed a short kiss on Blaine's lips. Blaine leaned back into Kurt, connecting their mouths again, and the kisses grew more heated. Kurt's lips parted and Blaine took that as all the allowance he needed before slipping his tongue into Kurt's mouth.

The boys kissed wetly, and moans escaped their lips as they continued. Blaine couldn't think of anything more heavenly than Kurt's mouth. He tasted of some sort of berry Blaine could not identify, but mostly he tasted of comfort. Kurt released himself from Blaine's mouth and caught at his neck. Blaine gulped in air that he hadn't realized he had been missing, causing his Adam's apple to bob.

"Kurt!" Blaine couldn't help himself from moaning his name, which seemed to encourage Kurt even more. Kurt dragged his flattened tongue up Blaine's neck and sucked on a spot below his ear. He moved his way down below the collarbone, knowing that if he left a mark there, it would go unseen. He sucked and bit the spot that he had been taking his time on. Blaine moaned wantonly and shivered as Kurt blew on the newly forming bruise on his collarbone.

"K-Kurt. I think we should slow down a bit before I try to take things... too far," Blaine said, feeling himself growing harder by the moment. Kurt's eyes trailed down Blaine's body, falling on his crotch. He laughed to himself, and Blaine didn't know if he should feel embarrassed. Kurt pressed a firm kiss to Blaine's lips and Blaine's head buzzed. There was no way that he could keep living his day to day life without Kurt's company. Without thinking it through, he turned to Kurt and placed his hands on top of the other boy's.

"Kurt, I want you to come back to Westerville with me."
