"What do you think about moving?" Blaine asked as he skimmed through a newspaper. He looked over to Kurt to gauge his reaction, but he seemed to be enamored with the television.

"Kurt." He called. Kurt pried his attention away from the screen to look over at Blaine with interest.

"Moving," Blaine repeated. "What do you think?"

"Yes?" Kurt answered, furrowing brow. Blaine chuckled at the reaction and folded the newspaper to put to the side.

"I should have worded that differently." He started, "I am going to college soon, and since the commute would be really long, I was thinking about moving closer to campus." Kurt stayed quiet, listening intently with a blank expression. "It would also be nice to live on my own for once. My parents say it's fine, they even offered to pay rent, but I told them I could take care of it. . ."

"Moving." Kurt stated, unsure, in his delicate voice. His posture slumped, wings sagging behind him lazily.

"Yeah, to an apartment." Blaine smiled.

"Okay," The Ave said sadly, picking at his fingernails. ". . . When do you want me out of here?"

"What? . . . Oh! No, silly. You are coming with me." Blaine said bluntly while Kurt's eyes bulged with surprise.

"Master, you don't have to do all this for me. I am intruding already-"

"Intruding? I invited you, forced you almost. If you want to leave, you always have the choice, but I want you to come with me." Kurt blinked his long, soft eyelashes and looked away as he sucked at his split lip. He nodded curtly.

It was at dinner time that the phone began ringing. Blaine picked it up on the third ring and greeted with a sweet 'Hello'.

"Blaine, darling, how are you?" His mother cooed from the other side of the line.

"I'm good, mom, I-"

"That's great. You know, with you moving out, I was thinking I could come to help pick out an apartment with you, or move some boxes. You know, so you don't have to do it alone, and I could even help pack if you want me to. I know how you don't like me touching your things. . ." She kept talking, she could talk for hours and it made Blaine grateful on how little she actually visited. But she did want to visit, which posed a problem. Kurt was there, and as much as Blaine welcomed the blue-eyed angel, his parents would not be too keen on his intentions on keeping the stranger around, especially him being an Ave.

"No! I can handle it. And, Mom I, uh, I got some friends helping me move. So you don't have to stop by. " Blaine explained quickly, gaining a weary glance from Kurt.

"But it's been so long since we saw each other, I'm starting to feel like a bad mom." Blaine rolled his eyes, reminiscing on all the important events his mom had not been there for and was never sorry.

"You can come some other time, I have it ll under control, and I actually have to go now. Bye, mom." He hung up before she could say any more. He let out a sigh and set the phone back on it's receiver. Kurt stared at him as he collected himself.

"Sorry, my mom, she's crazy." Blaine waved off agitated.
