Kurt looked at Blaine through the window at the Lima Bean. Blaine was sitting all alone, just staring into his cup of coffee. Kurt didn’t want to go in but he was in a dire fix of caffeine and he was already late for his lunch date with his dad so he just took a deep breath and sucked it up. He walked up to the counter and said, “One grande non-fat mocha.” The lady on the other end nodded and Kurt paid. He worked his way around the counter and waited for his order. It took everything in Kurt not to look where Blaine was. He didn’t want to know. Blaine had done enough talking over the past month to last a lifetime. Kurt didn’t want to hear any more apologizes, any more excuses, any more anything. He was done trying to understand why Blaine had done what he did. It still hurt so much for Kurt to think about it but Kurt needed to be strong. He could deal with it. He was snapped out of his thoughts by his coffee order and he grabbed it. He walked out of the shop but before he left, he looked at Blaine’s direction and saw Blaine looking at him with the most wounded expression on his face. His eyes seemed to speak novels but Kurt shook his head. He already knew what he was trying to say and he didn’t want to hear anymore. It just hurt too much so Kurt walked on, trying to ease the aching in his heart.
