Kurt woke the next morning and slipped out of bed, heading out to the kitchen so he could make pancakes for Blaine. He hummed happily to himself. He was sore, but he loved that. He loved the reminder of what he and Blaine had shared. He still couldn't believe that he had been so lucky finding such a great dom as Blaine.
Blaine came out half an hour later and smiled at the smell of pancakes. "You're amazing," he said and kissed Kurt on the cheek. He remained next to Kurt, watching him cook. "Thank you for last night," he said softly. "It was incredible."
Kurt smiled softly. "I should be thanking you. It was amazing."
"I'm glad you thought so," Blaine said, kissing Kurt's neck gently. "We'll take it slow from here, but I'm so glad you decided that you wanted this."
"I didn't want to be scared anymore," Kurt said along with a small moan as Blaine kissed his neck.
"You were so brave," Blaine whispered. "I want to take you out tonight, Kurt and Blaine style," he smiled. They had come up with a type of home date that they would do sometimes. It was basically that one of them would decorate and make all the food while the other one couldn't watch and then they'd have their date at home.
Kurt grinned. "Sounds perfect."
Blaine leaned in and kissed Kurt long and warm. "You'll have to spend quite some time in our room because I'll need some time."
"Could I go out for a walk?" he asked softly. "Please?"
Blaine bit his own lip. "I'm not sure, baby," he sighed. "You know there are Doms without subs out there... I don't like not having control over you. You've been through enough crap."
"I'll be okay..." Kurt whispered. "I'll even wear a collar if it'd make you feel better."
Blaine still looked unsure. "I don't know..."
"It's up to you," Kurt said softly. "I just want some fresh air."
"Fine," Blaine sighed. "But I do want you to wear the collar."
Kurt scowled, but since it was his own idea, he couldn't really complain.
"You know I just want what's best for you, Kurt. And I know you hate the collar, but it's necessary. You belong to me and no one else."
Kurt hissed. "I know I'm yours and I love that. I just wish the fucking collar didn't have to prove it," he muttered.
"Mind the attitude," Blaine warned. "I'm your master and I decide what's best for you. If you want to go outside, you will wear the collar. I expect you either outside on the walk or in our room within fifteen minutes. If you go outside, bring your phone." Blaine took a plate of pancakes and sat down at the table to eat. "And thank you for breakfast."
"Do you want to fasten the collar?" Kurt asked a little petulantly.
Blaine nodded. He finished his breakfast and got up to get the collar. He fastened it around Kurt's neck, not as tight as Thad had, but not as loose as he usually did. "Mine, gorgeous."
Kurt nodded, kissing Blaine lightly before heading out of the door. Once he was at the bottom of the street, he unfastened his collar and shoved it in his pocket. He was just happy to be able to breathe in the fresh air properly. He walked for about ten minutes before he saw a large, smirking Dom making his way towards him.
"Unclaimed and gorgeous," the Dom smiled. "I think I'm taking you home for tonight, beautiful." He got up closer, forcing Kurt up against the wall of the closest building.
Kurt whimpered, pushing against the guy's chest. "I'm claimed!" he cried softly. "I have a true Dom!"
"Well, it doesn't seem like it," the Dom said, raising an eyebrow. "Your Dom must be a really bad one to let you walk around uncollared."
Fishing around in his pocket, Kurt pulled out his collar. "See?" he whimpered, hoping it would work.
"You're not wearing it," he smirked. "I need you on your knees. Now," he commanded.
Kurt whined, but his instincts wouldn't let him refuse and he dropped to his knees, head bowed.
Since they were in a small alley, the Dom decided that it was safe to do something here. "Open your mouth, you little slut." He pulled down his zipper and took out his cock, holding it against Kurt's lips. "Let's start with this. Suck."
Kurt flinched away as the image of Thad flashed through his head. "N-No!" he said loudly and his heart raced as he heard footsteps coming towards them.
"I said suck, you whore!" the Dom growled impatiently.
"What the fuck is going on here!?" Wes' voice came strong and powerful from behind the Dom. "He's a claimed sub!"
"And how the fuck would you know?" The Dom snarled, one hand wrapped in Kurt's soft hair to keep him in place.
"I fucking know him, alright!? Get the hell out of here!" Wes stepped forward, forcing away the Dom.
The Dom hawked up a wad of spit and spat it straight in Kurt's face before wandering off, muttering something about Kurt being a cock tease.
Wes rushed up to Kurt and wiped off the spit from his face. "What the fuck are you doing here!? And without a collar!?"
Kurt looked at Wes nervously. "I went for a walk..." he said slowly, avoiding the second question.
Wes sighed. "Let's just get you home. How could Blaine let you do this? He's never been this stupid," Wes muttered, helping Kurt up onto his feet.
"He sent me out with a collar," Kurt whispered. "I... I took it off. Do you... Do you have to tell him, Wes?"
Wes frowned. "Why would you do that!? You know no one can touch you if you have your collar!" He started walking, possibly faster than he should have. "Blaine is not going to be happy with you, Kurt."
"Then don't tell him?" Kurt tried weakly once more, panting to keep up with Wes.
Wes turned around to face Kurt, his face furious. "How could I not!? You almost got yourself taken by another Dom, Kurt! All because you didn't follow your master's orders!"
Kurt bowed his head as he felt Wes' dominant energy wash over him. "I just... I hate that collar," he whimpered.
"Blaine was just trying to protect you," Wes sighed and turned around to walk again. They reached the apartment and Wes knocked on the door.
A confused Blaine opened it. "Wes...? What's going on?"
"I caught another Dom trying to make Kurt suck him off," he said through gritted teeth. "Tell him why, Kurt."
Kurt looked at his feet and didn't say anything, he just held out his collar to Blaine.
"You... took it off?" Blaine asked with wide eyes. "How could you do that!?"
"I-I hate it, Blaine," Kurt whimpered softly. "I always have. But... More since Thad. I remember the one he put on me... it was so tight and it h-hurt and now whenever I have anything around my neck I feel like I can't breath and it reminds me of him. I'm s-sorry."
Blaine just shook his head. "Thanks for taking him back, Wes." He pulled Kurt inside and then closed the door behind him. The room was filled with red roses and candles. Blaine slowly made his way around the room, blowing them all out. Then he quietly went into the bedroom, closing the door behind him without any more words.
Kurt's bottom lip wobbled. He knew better than to follow Blaine, so he just curled on the floor near the couch and cried softly into his knees.
Blaine stayed in his room all night. He was completely disappointed in Kurt. How could he have done that to him? It was so hard for Blaine to grasp. When he woke up at six the following morning, there was no sign of that Kurt had entered the room. He walked out and found Kurt on the floor, sitting up and hugging his legs. "Kurt?" he asked.
Kurt looked up, his eyes red from crying and there were tear tracks on his cheeks. He was pale and it was obvious he hadn't slept. "S-Sir?"
Blaine sighed. "Kurt, I love you, but honestly, I can't believe how you'd do this to me. And mostly yourself." He shook his head. "I don't understand."
"I love you too," Kurt whimpered. "I-I thought I'd be fine. I still had my dog-tags on... I hate that thing. It scares me."
Blaine's expression looked pained. "I'm disappointed in you, Kurt."
Kurt nodded and let out a broken sob. He felt like his heart was tearing in two, this was so much worse than Blaine being angry.
"I can't believe that you'd risk your life just because the collar is uncomfortable? You're worth more than that."
"It's not that it's uncomfortable..." Kurt argued quietly. "I have to fight flashbacks constantly when I'm wearing it. It's a trigger."
"And I understand that," Blaine said. "But I can't understand that you'd take it off and walk the streets of New York unmarked without anything protecting you! It was the exact reason why I put the collar on in the first place! You disobeyed me and risked your own safety."
"I had my dog tags on..." Kurt said softly.
"Well, it obviously wasn't enough!" Blaine growled, the tears streaming down his face. "Do you have any fucking idea how much I love you!? How much I need you to live!? You were fucking lucky, and I was, too. I can't live without you, Kurt! You're my true sub and my everything! Why won't you fucking get it!?"
Kurt flinched at Blaine's harsh tone. "I do get it. I'm sorry. I'm s-so so sorry. I was terrified when I thought he was going to take me away from you." Kurt was sobbing by now. "I'm so sorry. I'll never do anything like that again!"
Blaine sighed, sobbing softly. "I'm so glad you're here and not injured," he said quietly, kneeling next to Kurt to take him into his arms.
Kurt fell into Blaine's arms, curling tightly into his chest and crying.
Blaine wrapped his arms tightly around him and buried his face in his neck. "Never again, Kurt. Never, never, never..."
Kurt nodded, holding Blaine just as tightly. "I love you so much."
Blaine pulled back to kiss Kurt's forehead softly. "You're safe and here with me..."
"I was s-so scared, Blaine..."
"I know, honey... But you're here now. Safe with me." Blaine was mad and disappointed, still. But right now, he couldn't bring himself to punish Kurt. He just wanted to hold him.
"Okay," Kurt mumbled tiredly, he hadn't had any sleep. "I love you."
"Go to sleep, baby. You're exhausted," Blaine stated.
"Is that okay, Sir?" Kurt asked carefully.
"I'm Blaine to you now, Kurt," Blaine said softly. "And yes, it is."
Kurt kissed Blaine on the cheek. "Will you come and lie down with me?"
Blaine nodded. They walked in to the bed and both fell asleep quickly. Blaine was already tired again from the emotional turmoil. Luckily, they both made it through the turmoil and they were okay now.
