Blaine opens his eyes and springs up in bed. Its getting harder to sleep these days, the memories are still just so clear, every sound, every smell, his touch of his hands as they shake in his. Everything was still there as if it had only just happened. It has been almost 10 months now, cant the memories just die and go away?
No of course not, that would be to easy, and that boy would never of left Blaine so easily anyways, he was all that Blaine could think about. He was all that Blaine needed to be happy, again.
He rolls over and looks at his alarm. 4:25 am, a groan escapes his lips. He will never be able to fall back asleep now. He looks up at his white ceiling contemplation what he should do. He just wanted to sleep fully for the first time in weeks. He frustratedly rubs the tears that had manages to escape, with the fist of his hands. Why was he still crying?
Everyone told him that he would get better, that he will be able to smile again someday soon.
Its not like he was expecting to wake up one morning and be like, “oh look the sun is out and I no longer miss my other half!” No, Blaine is smarted then that, he knows that once someone dies they are gone and they can never come back.
So then when was he going to feel like he was able to breath once more? When was he going to be able to walk down the streets with out jumping at every loud sound he hears? And when was he going to be able to remember those bright blue eyes again with out crying himself into a guilt trip coma?
It was a long road, there was no doubt in that, but after so many months he was ready for it to at least start to get better.
