Author's Notes: It's been months, and I'm super sorry about that. But the fic bug has bitten me again, so hopefully I'll update more.

Kurt woke up in a cool sweat. Running a palm over his face, he sat up in his bed.  He looked around his room and squinted his eyes as he looked towards his window. He felt odd, like something was off. He tried to think of what day it was. Did he have school today? Was it even Monday? Why couldn't he remember anything? His head felt so full, yet so empty at the same time. It was such a weird feeling. He threw his feet up and over his bed and stood up on his feet. He shook his head, and tried again to regain his thoughts. HehejkhjjkkjHe wasn't drinking last night, was he? He'd only done that once, and that was enough. He learned his lesson in underage drinking the wrong way. This didn't feel like a hangover though. This felt different.  Oh well, He guessed that he could just piece it together later. He went to his closet and picked out his clothes, and then continued on to do his normal routine.

After he was done in the bathroom, he moved back to his room for one more quick look at his ensemble before heading off to school. He did a one over in his full length mirror. He had to admit, he looked good. He sat on his bed for a second to check his phone, but something caught his eye as he sat. A piece of yellow paper was now taped onto the mirror that was just looking in. Instantly, he dropped his phone and stood up off of the bed. Slowly, he walked over to the mirror and ripped the piece of paper off of it and read the note.

Don't worry. You look fine. - Blaine.

Shaking, Kurt looked around the room. No one was there, just him. He ran out of his room and looked down the stairs. He didn't hear anyone, but that didn't particularly mean that no one was there. He crept down the stairs slowly. "Dad?" he called out. He knew that his father wasn't home. He was always at work before school, but maybe he came home. But the name on the note was Blaine. Kurt didn't know a Blaine. Kurt went to the kitchen table and started to drum his fingers on the table. How did that note get there, and who the hell was Blaine? Wait. The only Blaine he had ever heard of was in some strange dream last night. But that was all a dream, wasn't it? "It can't be," Kurt reassured himself quietly.

"Well it is," said a voice from behind.

Kurt whipped his head around to see a semi-familiar face. It was the same boy that was in his dream. The same curly hair, the same brown eyes, the only thing that was different was his clothes, which though, were still a crisp white color. "What? No. You just. You're not real," Kurt managed to finally stammer out.

Blaine laughed a bit and spread out his arms. "Oh yeah?" he said as he spun in a circle slowly, "I think I am. You don't remember me Kurt?" He gave Kurt a look that was both a bit sassy, and a bit sarcastic.

Kurt stared in silence for a moment before standing up. He started walking out of the room and back up the stairs. "You're not real," he chanted as he walked up the stairs, "You're not real. You're not real. "You just are not real."

Blaine shook his head and followed Kurt up the stairs. "Yes I am. Yes I am. I am very real," he chanted back to Kurt. Once they were upstairs, Blaine laid down on Kurt's bed and placed both of his hands behind his head. "Don't tell me you forgot about our little talk last night already," he said being witty.

Kurt crossed his arms and crooked his neck so that he was staring at Blaine. "I remember it perfectly well, thank you," he snapped back, "I just refuse to believe it. You say you're some magical angel and-"

Blaine interrupted Kurt abruptly. "Guardian Angel," he corrected.

Kurt rolled his eyes before continuing on. "Oh. I am so sorry," he said sarcastically, "Guardian Angel, how could I be so stupid."

Blaine closed his eyes and made himself more comfy on Kurt's bed. "Ah, don't beat yourself up about it, Kurt. Everyone makes mistakes," he said with a crooked smile.

Kurt wiggled his hips again and readjusted his arms. "You're impossible. Just impossible," said Kurt exasperated. He moved over to the other side of the room and picked up his phone. "I'm calling the cops, because I think you're crazy. Yup. Crazy. You're probably some stalker who drugged me or something."

Blaine laughed and sat up on the bed. "You don't want to do that, Kurt. You're just going to sound like a crazy person," he said, giggling.

"Yeah, well I won't be the only one sounding crazy in this house," said Kurt as he turned his back to Blaine and waited for someone to pick up the phone on the other end.

"Yello!" said an all too familiar voice on the other end of the line. Kurt whipped his head around to find Blaine in an all-white police uniform, leaning against his wall.

"What? Blaine. What are you doing?" asked Kurt as he slammed the phone down.

Blaine smiled and stuffed the phone back into his pocket, and with a snap of his fingers, he was back into the clothes that her originally had on. "I am your 911, Kurt," said Blaine with a chuckle, "Guardian Angel, remember? It's kind of in the job description."

Kurt shook his head for a minute and bit his cheek. He turned around to grab a chair to sit down. "So this is real then," he said as he sat, "Like, a legitimate thing."

Blaine walked forward slowly before sitting down on the floor in front of Kurt. He crossed his legs and crooked his neck to look up at Kurt. "Yup," he said simply, "You said that you remember last night, correct? So that means that you remember the contract agreement then."

Kurt nodded. "I do, yes. I didn't think it was a real thing of course, but I do remember," he said.

"Good," said Blaine, "And you still intend to follow through with it, and avoid the obvious."

"Obvious?" asked Kurt, eyebrows raised.

"Death," said Blaine both sternly and calmly.

"Right," said Kurt as his eyes widened. He nodded as well. He still couldn't believe the story, but arguing with Blaine seemed to be useless. Plus, the magic or whatever he was using was also pretty compelling. "So," he said as he ran his hands down his legs nervously, "You're just going to keep popping up and scaring me all the time to help me?"

Blaine laughed. "I'd say no, but that would be a lie," he said with a wink, "And angels don't lie." He got up off of the ground and moved to the window. "Do you have any coffee, Kurt?" he asked, still looking out the window.

Kurt hopped up and out of his chair and started to move out of his room, signalling Blaine to come with him. "Downstairs," he said tiredly. Kurt was still trying to internally store his shock. He was still unsure of so many things. He didn't know if he was actually dead, or if Blaine was actually an angel. But what he did know was that Blaine didn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. "Here," Kurt said as the neared the kitchen, "All we have is instant, I hope that's okay,"

Blaine smiled and took the coffee from Kurt. "That's fine," he said. He sat down and poured it into his mug. When Kurt offered hot water, Blaine shook his head. With a snap of his fingers, his cup was already full and steaming.

"Come sit," said Blaine as he patted the seat beside him. He looked up at Kurt and Kurt stared down at the ground for a second.

"I can't Blaine," said Kurt defiantly, "I have school." He checked the time on his phone and looked outside. The sun was fully out now, which was Kurt's usual signal that it was time to go.

"Ah yes," said Blaine after taking a sip of his coffee, "School."

Kurt nodded his head and but his lip. "Yeah," he said as he moved to the hallway to grab his schoolbag and his keys, "So how does this work, do you come with me, or?"

Blaine pursed his lips and ran his hand through his hair. "Nah," he said smiling, "But if you need me, I'll be there." He placed a hand on Kurt's shoulder and with a nod said, "Have a good day Kurt."

Kurt half smiled back and gave a nod, "You too, with whatever it is that you do."

Blaine began to walk away and put his coffee cup into the air. Pretty soon his body kind of glowed until it was gone completely. Kurt shook his head and licked his lips. He wasn't sure what was in sure, but he was actually half excited about it.
