Author's Notes: Yay! Finally!

As the rain fell on the roof of the hospital. Kurt sat in the chair reading the morning paper. He'd sent Blaine out for some fresh air and to get them some coffee and a breakfast roll. Camilla was getting better but Garret was not. Last night when Kurt went out to get dinner he came back to find Blaine crying. Everything was just so much and he was running out of leave time. Plus, two weeks ago his leg were he was hit with a bullet five years ago had gotten infected and so they had to take out the bullet. Thus leaving Blaine to use a cane.

"can I help you sir?" a woman at the front desk asked as she saw Blaine carrying one of those cardboard drink holders with two large coffees a medium drip for Blaine and a non-fat mocha for Kurt, plus on top of that was two muffins precariously balanced. Blaine was not one to get help. He liked doing things himself.

"no thanks I got it." Blaine sighed as he continued to the elevator. Hitting the seven button he leaned on the wall waiting for it to ding and the door to open. As the door opened he hobbled out trying not to get his cane stuck in the crack between the elevator and the 7th floor. As he reached the secure door he tried to scan his wristband to let him in the NICU floor. Getting that part done he lifted up his cane to push the handicap button to open up the door to let him in. It was like the doors at hotels you had to slide your card and then push the door open. As he pushed the button his pulled his cane away losing his balance. Falling on his back the muffins went flying but somehow he was able to keep the coffee safe. This had killed Blaine. His wife was gone and his son was not getting any better maybe he was next to go. Being strong in a situation like this was pretty hard for Blaine. He had survived a gunshot and two tours in Iraq. Can't do much better than that. Just as all this was going on, Kurt was making his way out to see why Blaine was taking longer than normal.

"Blaine!" Kurt cried out coming to the shorter mans aid. Sitting on the floor he pushed the coffee away and pulled him tight giving him a small peck on his head.

"you ok?" Kurt asked pulling away. Being with this man 24/7 he began to really fall for him. He was confused though, he loved Lisa but this man, I mean Blaine was sure something.

"I can't do this Kurt!" Blaine cried into the mans shoulder. He felt bad for crying in front of him but then again this man was something Blaine was looking for. He to loved his wife and was not quite sure if he was ready to move on. But he knew when he was Kurt would be that person. They were close friends now. They knew each others coffee orders, what they liked and did not like. You know things best friends know.

"look at me Blaine Anderson!" Kurt smiled.

"I am here, I will go through every single step with you, garret may not be at his best right now but our wife's are watching over us. They are making sure that everything will go smoothly." Kurt smiled and gave the man another kiss stroking his hair. Just as he pulled away Blaine reached in and gave Kurt a kiss on the lips. Kurt was shocked but then again just every so slightly happy. Kissing him back he pulled away and smiled.

"let's go have our coffee before they wake up for their food." he smiled again and helped Blaine up.  Reaching the room they finished just in time to feed the babies. As they held the two garrets doctor came in with some good news.

"it's appears that garret is doing really good right now, after you are done feeding and burping him we will take off the CPAP and if he can breath without it for an hour that's another step towards him getting to go home!" she smiled Blaine looked at Kurt and smiled happily at her words.

"I also wanted to mention that starting tonight after rounds, nurse Jenna from down the hall will be starring her American Sign Language classes." she smiled again and hung a reminder on garrets isolet.

"now I'm not forcing you but it might help to get a jump start, it will make the communication bridge between you two slightly easier." she added smiled and shifted waving good bye.

"thanks." Blaine smiled.

"so are you Gunna do it?" Kurt asked.

"I was wondering if you would do it with me?" Blaine asked looking at Kurt.

"I want us to do this together." he smiled.

"I know it's a little early to say I love you, but I want you to know... I really really like you and I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you." Blaine explained looking at Kurt. They had known each other for about three months now still a bit early but Kurt had an answer for Blaine.

"I um, love you too Blaine and I want to be here for you and garret." he smiled leaning over to kiss Blaine on the cheek. Finishing Jo with the feelings and the doctors checks Garret was off the CPAP and happy Blaine and Kurt were headed to their first ASL class as a couple.

End Notes: Ok I'm sorry I didn't do much inbetween it's just how it came out. I hope you liked it!

this has a huge hole in the story as in... How did they go from being married to women to loving eachother. Where they gay and closeted or bi? how did they come out? please answer! I do love the story idea though

I think what I will do is do a chapter that looks back on that subject. I was leaning towards Bi but the subject of closeted is growing on me. I just have to fit the puzzle peices together. something like they havent come out, only because there social interations are mainly doctors and hospital people. they spend ost of there days just them and the babies. I could type more but I would spoile an Idea I just had.
