Author's Notes: Sorry if the grammar, punctuation, etc is bad. I just made this on the notepad on my phone. Its not the longest but here ya go.
Blaine got off the phone with the nearest pizza parlor after confirming a carry out order.
"Kurt? Sweetheart?"
Kurt was quiet from all of the previous trauma he had gone through. Blaine walked up behind him and gently placed his hand on his boyfriends shoulder. "I'm going to go pick up our dinner. Did you want to ride with?"
Kurt stayed quiet for a few more minutes before nodding, standing up and joining Blaine in walking to his car. Blaine started up the car and turned on the radio, hoping whatever was on would cheer them both up. The radio was turned on to an older station and Blaine recognized the song right away. 'All You Need Is Love' by The Beatles. Blaine immediately started singing along.
"There's nothing you can do that can't be done. There's nothing you can sing that can't be sung. Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game. Its easy. "
Kurt smiled and held on to Blaine's hand, resting his head on Blaine's shoulder, listening to the sound of him singing as they made their way to pick up their dinner. They pulled into a pizza parlor strangely enough. "Pizza?" Kurt asked, raising an eyebrow. Blaine smiled, pressing a small kiss to his forehead. "Its veggie. Don't worry." Kurt nodded and waited in the car while Blaine ran in to pay and came back with a pizza.
Kurt smiled as he got back in the car. "That was quick."
Blaine nodded. "Yeah. I called ahead of time."
Kurt just smiled as Blaine drove them back into the garage. "I was thinking maybe we could walk to get some dessert after the movie." Kurt nodded in response as he got out of the car. Blaine had noted how quiet Kurt had been. It was of course natural after what he had been through. Maybe after the movie and dinner he'd be more talkative.
He was right. After finishing their pizza, he picked out a movie. He had chosen What To Expected When You're Expecting. It got Kurt to laughing, crying, and talking again. As the movie drew to a close Kurt rested his head on Blaine's shoulder tiredly. "I know you wanted to go get dessert, but I'm so tired. Can we just stay here?" Blaine nodded. "Of course, sweetheart."
Kurt smiled and Blaine turned his head to meet Kurt for a kiss, slow and sweet. Blaine took a hold of Kurt's hand and slid off the couch so he was bending on one knee. "Kurt, I love you. "
Kurt smiled. "I love you too."
Blaine smiled even bigger at that. "I'm so glad to know that because I couldn't ever imagine my life without you. Which is why.." He used his hand not holding Kurt's to reach into his pocket and pull out the ring. "Kurt Elizabeth Hummel, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me? " Blaine asked this as he looked deep into Kurt's eyes, his eyes wide.
"Yes. Yes Blaine Devon Anderson. I'll marry you!" He said jumping into Blaine's arms, surprising him, causing him to fall backwards on the floor, Kurt falling on top of him, kissing him repeatedly. Blaine closed his eyes happily. He was finally in a happy place. He was engaged to the man he loved. It was perfect.
