This is the first fic I have ever published. I've been writing fanfiction for years now but I have never published anything because I don't think anyone would think it was any good. But I'm going to give it a chance. If this sounds familiar it is because I had it up over at fanfiction.net under the same author name. I know it has been a while since I’ve updated over there my muse has left me and I’ve been working on the 6th chapter trying to get something out. I’m almost satisfied with it so it shouldn’t be too long. I’m hoping that once I get that up maybe some of the responses to it will make my muse come back. Also for those of you who have read this before I have made a few changes. Some inconsistences and facts that were wrong I changed, as well as changed Blaine’s brothers name to Cooper, when I started this we hadn’t learnt what Blaine’s brothers name was and trying to keep it something that wasn’t Cooper was driving me nuts so that is changed. But nothing major has changed.

"So you guys got Sebastian to admit what he put in the slushy?" Blaine asked

Kurt adjusted himself in the chair next to Blaine's bed and grabbed his hand.

"Yes, Santana went to Dalton and confronted him, apparently they had a sing off and afterwards he admitted to putting rock salt in the slushy. She had a tape recorder down her bra." Kurt said.

"But then she gave him the tape saying you guys wanted to settle this on the stage when we beat them at regionals?" Blaine asked with a twinge of anger

"We made a copy of it, but I thought you said that is what you wanted to do? You didn't want to press chargers?" Kurt asked him suddenly fearing that he was angry at him.

"Come here on the bed with me." Blaine said tugging Kurt's hand

"But what if your parents come in here? Won't they be upset?" Kurt asked him

"We are on top of the covers I don't think it is a big deal." Blaine said

"Ok" Kurt replied going around the bed to climb next to him.

Kurt felt awkward, sure they had sex in this very bed, but Blaine's parents weren't home then, and he didn't really know Blaine's parents. He had met them a few times but they were gone so often for work or social events that he was still nervous around them, he didn't want to do anything to make them not trust him, or not trust Blaine or get Blaine in trouble.

"I can hear you thinking what's wrong?" Blaine said sweeping a piece of Kurt's hair back into place.

"I know that we are just sitting on the bed, but I don't really know your parents like you know my dad and Carole and I don't want them to walk in and get the wrong idea and then have them lose whatever respect and trust they do have for me." Kurt said quickly.

"Baby we have done a lot more than just sit on this bed." Blaine said suggestively taking Kurt's hand.

"I know, but whenever we do more than just sit on this bed, they aren't home to catch us." Kurt replied

"Relax, and I am not mad at you for giving Sebastian a copy of the tape I'm just worried that if we don't beat them then he will have won and won't get justice for what he tried to do to you." Blaine said

"You mean justice for what he did to you? I am still mad that you pushed me out of the way by the way." Kurt said brushing his hand over Blaine's eyebrow above the eye patch.

"Better me then you. I would have lost my cool and beaten him to a pulp." Blaine said

"You think I didn't want to?" Kurt said angry

"That's not what I meant Kurt, I know you wanted to beat him up, I know you want to hurt him but you are more sensible then me, you don't let your emotions get the best of you. Yes I would have loved nothing better than to punch his face but I would have regretted it later. I was beaten up so badly at my old school that I came to Dalton, you were terrorized so much you came to Dalton, violence is not the answer. We are better than that, we are better than Sebastian." Blaine said rubbing his thumb in circles over Kurt's hand trying to calm him.

"You are right we are better than him. I wish you weren't hurt. I feel like it's my fault. It was meant for me." Kurt said a tear escaping down his cheek.

"Kurt, baby, don't this is not your fault, Sebastian is a jerk, and I see that now. He is jealous of what we have and he wants to hurt us because we are happy, because we love each other, because we have that and he doesn't." Blaine said

"I know but he wants you, he thinks if he can get rid of me then he can have you. If I weren't around or weren't with you then you wouldn't be in this situation." Kurt replied more tears coming down his face.

"No you are going to stop blaming yourself now. I love you, I am with you. You are my best friend and my lover. Yes you are right that Sebastian wants me but he is never going to have me. Even if we were just friends or even if I didn't know you he would have never had me. He is a cocky asshole. I talked to him because I felt bad for leaving the Warblers without a lead. I do not at all regret coming to McKinley at all so don't even think that but a lot of those guys are my friends, Sebastian is there lead now and I wanted to help him out so the Warblers at least stood a chance against us." Blaine said wiping the tears from Kurt's face with his thumb.

"I'm just so sorry, your poor eye." Kurt said resting his head on Blaine's shoulder.

"Will be fine, yes it hurt, yes it still kind of hurts but the Dr. said he can fix it perfectly. I will be fine. Quit worrying." Blaine said

"I promise I will try to stop worrying, but it will be hard, until you have the surgery I will be worrying." Kurt said

Blaine took Kurt's chin in his hand turning it up towards him and placed a light kiss on his lips.

"I love you." He whispered placing another kiss on his lips.

"I love that you care so much about me." Another kiss

"I don't know what I did to deserve you." A third kiss.

"Stop talking Blaine, I love you too, and you care about me as much as I care about you, and we will agree to disagree on the last one, I think I'm the lucky one. Now kiss me." Kurt said

Blaine smirked at Kurt and grabbed his face and kissed him with passion this time, their lips meeting and moving together. Their lips parted and Blaine sucked Kurt's bottom lip into his mouth lightly nibbling on it before soothing it over with his tongue then slipping it into Kurt's mouth. Kurt moaned and moved his hands to Blaine's hair. The soft curls that were normally weighted down with gel tangling between his fingers. Blaine's lips left Kurt's and trailed to his neck where he began sucking and nipping at that spot below his ear that drove him crazy.

"Blaine?" Kurt half moaned half sighed.

"Mmm your skin tastes amazing." Blaine said

"As much as I want this to continue, we can't your parents could walk in any minute." Kurt said

"I hate when you are right, so you know." Blaine said.

"I'm always right." Kurt joked sliding down the bed a little to rest his head against Blaine's chest.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Blaine asked

"Not really I'd rather just listen to some music and cuddle with you." Kurt said.

"Sounds lovely." Blaine said grabbing his iPhone and turning on a playlist and setting it in the dock on his nightstand. He turned it on and motioned for Kurt to lean up so he could move lower on the bed.

He was still leaning against the headboard, but in more relaxed position. Kurt went back to resting his head on his chest and Blaine intertwined their hands resting them on his stomach. Both men relaxed and closed their eyes just listening to the music and each other’s breathing. Not too much longer Blaine could hear Kurt's breathing even out as Kurt unconsciously cuddled closer to his body, and not long after he followed suit.

"I don't like this." Richard Anderson said as he and his wife opened the door to their son’s room to find his son and his boyfriend cuddled on his bed. The latter of which had his head resting on his chest and their hands intertwined on Blaine's stomach.

"They're adorable Richard." Kathy Anderson replied. She felt bad for intruding on such a scene but dinner was ready and when she had knocked lightly knowing Blaine's medicine made him sleepy she walked in knowing Kurt was still in there. She assumed he would be sitting in the chair holding Blaine's hand reading a book or a magazine as she knew that boy, no that man was respectful. But even though he was lying on her sons bed cuddled with him as only a lover does she couldn't be mad.

"They are in bed together Kathy." Richard said

"They are on top of the comforter Richard, there is nothing improper going on. Blaine is hurt and I can tell from talking to Kurt that he is hurt too, he blames himself, they are comforting one another. They are in love. Go downstairs and set the table. I'll wake them." Kathy said

Richard left the room to set the table and Kathy went to her son’s side sweeping his hair out of his good eye.

"Blaine hunny wake up. Dinner is ready." Kathy said

"Mmm wanna stay here." Blaine grumbled.

"Hunny you have to eat." Kathy said a little louder.

Blaine opened his eyes seeing his mother in his room with Kurt in his bed and almost panicked until he saw the look in her eyes and the smile on her face.

"You're not mad?" Blaine said tilting his head towards his boyfriend who is still asleep.

"No I'm not mad, you two look adorable although I don't know why you are on top of the comforter it's a little chilly in her." Kathy said

"Kurt didn't even want to get on the bed. He didn't want you or dad to get the wrong idea and lose your trust and respect." Blaine said

"I'm not ignorant Blaine, you boys are well not boys anymore, you are men, you have been together for a long time now and you love each other. Your father and I are gone a lot, we know that, but like I said I'm not ignorant. I don't know how far you two have gone. But as long as you are being safe and respectful of one another I don't mind. I'd rather have you loving each other here when we aren't home then at some shady motel or in the back of one of your cars. The same applied to your brother when he was at home, as long as you are safe, love one another, respect one another, you can choose to express your love for each other however you want, as long as we don't see or hear about it. I didn't want to walk in on your brother or hear him with his girlfriend and the same applies to you okay? Just don't mention this to your father. He loves you and he is still coming to terms with everything but he is trying." Kathy said

"I love you mom, and I do love him, I love Kurt so much. I didn't even know it was possible to love someone so much. I just wish Kurt knew you and dad better so he could feel more comfortable around you." Blaine said

"We will just have to have him over more often when we are home." She said

"You'd do that?" Blaine asked

"Yes, I have a feeling Kurt is going to be around for a long time so why shouldn't your father and I get to know the man you love better?" Kathy said

"Thanks mom, you have no idea how much this means to me and to Kurt." He said

"You’re welcome, I'm going to go downstairs now, I don't want to make Kurt uncomfortable so you wake him up and come downstairs for dinner okay." Kathy said

"Give us a few minutes and we'll be there." Blaine said

Kathy walked out of the room and shut the door smiling before walking downstairs to the dining room.

Blaine looked down at Kurt who was still sleeping.

"Kurt, baby time to wake up dinner is ready." Blaine said to be met with the still steady intakes of breath from his boyfriend.

"Kurt. Wicked is coming to Cincinnati." Blaine said smirking

"What!" Kurt said sitting up straight

"Good evening sleeping beauty." Blaine said kissing Kurt's lips lightly

"You are cruel Blaine Warbler." Kurt said

"Come on get up dinner is ready. And just to warn you my parents were in here while we were sleeping, my mom woke me up. They aren't mad either and my mom pretty much gave me permission to do naughty things to you in my bed when they aren't home." Blaine smirked wagging his eyebrows.

"Oh my Gaga! What?" Kurt exclaimed.

Blaine gave Kurt the low down of what his mom had said and Kurt was smiling.

"I love your mom, I know your Dad is still iffy on the subject of your sexuality but I'm glad your mom is accepting." Kurt said

"Me too, my dad is trying now. I can't really force him to change his views on anything but he is trying and even though sometimes he says things that hurt I'm glad he is trying to accept me now." Blaine said grabbing Kurt's hand and dragging him to the dining room.

"There you are boys." Kathy smiled as Kurt and Blaine sat down next to each other at the dinner table.

"Hello Mrs. Anderson, Mr. Anderson." Kurt said to Blaine's parents.

"Kurt you and Blaine have been dating over 6 months now, I think it is perfectly fine if you call us Kathy and Richard." Kathy smiled at Kurt.

Kurt just simply nodded as he took his napkin and folded it into is lap. Blaine passed him the salad bowl and he took some and put it on his plate.

"So Kurt despite the fact that you and Blaine have been together so long we really don't know you very well, which I am kind of ashamed of we need to make a better effort to get to know you don't we Richard?" Kathy said her husband just simply nodding.

"I'd like that." Kurt said

"So then what are your plans after High School? I know you graduate this year." Kathy said and Kurt's entire face lit up.

"I actually just got my letter from NYADA the other day and I am a finalist so I am hoping to get in there." Kurt replied

"New York? That is a bit far." Richard said.

"It is one of the best schools for musical theater plus they also have a decent fashion department so if I get in I will be majoring in theater and my secondary will be in fashion." Kurt replied

"Blaine, how do you feel about Kurt moving to New York?" Richard asked

"I'm excited for him. I'm not going to lie and say that a long distant relationship isn't going to be hard but it will only be for 6 months. I have enough credits to graduate a semester early so I have been applying for early admission for the spring semesters." Blaine said smiling at Kurt.

"We both have dreams, and we both respect each other’s dreams and are going to do whatever we can to help each other achieve them. Kurt wants to be on Broadway and do fashion, I want to be on Broadway as well but I also want to be a musician." Blaine said

"Where all have you applied?" Richard asked

"NYADA, AMDA, Julliard and Columbia." Blaine said

"What about you Kurt where else have you applied in case NYADA falls through?" Kathy said

"AMDA, Julliard, Columbia and Parsons." Kurt said.

"So then you two are set on moving to New York for school then?" Richard said

"Yes dad, New York is Broadway. If we are going to make it to Broadway we have to go there. California is heavy in the arts too, but they are more into acting and music, New York is Theater and Musical Theater and fashion. Kurt's best friend Rachel is hoping to accepted to NYADA as well and if not one of her backups in New York, her boyfriend and Kurt's step brother Finn has applied to Universities to become an Athletic Coach and minor in music, he wants to coach football and run a glee club. He wants to bridge the two and make a difference like Mr. Shue has for us." Blaine said

"I assume that means that you won't be living on campus?" Kathy said

"No, on campus will be too expensive, it would be cheaper for all of us to just get an apartment central to all of our schools and split the rent." Blaine said.

"What do your parents think about this Kurt?" Richard asked

"My parents are fully supportive. My mom died of cancer when I was eight but it was her doctors fault, he missed the cancer on the scans twice and if he would have caught it the first time they could have saved her. My father sued the hospital and the doctor and we got a nice settlement. I know it won't ever bring her back but instead of my dad using that money to help his shop or anything he put it all into a trust fund for me to use when I start college, I have enough to go to college without any loans and to pay my fair share of the apartment so money isn't an issue for me. As far as sharing an apartment with my boyfriend, my parents love Blaine. I sometimes think they like him better than me." Kurt smiled at Blaine

"I'm sorry about your mom. Has your dad always been accepting of you?" Richard asked

"Richard!" Kathy said dropping her fork on her nearly empty plate.

"It's fine Kathy. Richard, yes my father has always been accepting of me. He told me my mom helped him through it before she died." Kurt said

"You knew you were gay at 8?" Richard said

"I didn't but apparently my mom did. My dad said she knew I was going to be gay from the time I turned 3. I mean I know you guys can see that I am kind of that stereotypical gay guy so it doesn't surprise me that I was showing signs at a young age." Kurt laughed

"There is nothing wrong with being who you are and being proud Kurt don't ever forget that." Kathy said

"Thanks." Kurt said

The rest of dinner was mainly small talk, no one really discussing anything serious. Blaine's parents asked what they planned to do for regional's what they had planned for when they went to nationals. There was talk of school and spring break which was only a couple months away.

Kathy cleared away all the dishes, Kurt insisting that he help before they all moved to the living room. Richard turning on the TV to some sports recap turning it on low enough so that if anyone wanted to talk they could.

"So, Blaine, Kurt, next weekend Cooper is going to be in town we were thinking about having a nice little dinner get together. He wants to bring his girlfriend to introduce to the family." Kathy said

"Cool, I haven't seen Cooper since Thanksgiving." Blaine said and Kurt nodded.

"I could use some help Kurt, Blaine says you are an amazing cook." Kathy said

"I do pretty good, but what would you need my help for you are an amazing cook dinner tonight was lovely." Kurt said

"Chicken and beef is as far as my talent goes, apparently Cooper’s girlfriend is a vegetarian and I could use some help. They are going to be getting here Friday evening, I know you two are off school because of faculty evaluations so would you come over early and help me cook?" Kathy asked

"I'd love to!" Kurt said smiling

"So do you have any suggestions?" Kathy asked Kurt smiling and Blaine smiling as well. His dad may be indifferent but his mom loved Kurt and was showing him that she liked him by including him in the family affairs.

"My best friend Rachel is Vegan so when she comes for dinner I'm always the one to cook as Carole, my step mom doesn't know any vegan or vegetarian recipes. I make a really mean vegetarian lasagna. Actually if you want we could do a whole vegetarian Italian dinner." Kurt said.

"Ok let me get a notebook and I can write down what we are going to make and then the ingredients so I can get them when I go shopping Thursday night." Kathy said

"If you want I can go shopping with you, Blaine and I were planning on having a movie night since we don't have school the next day and my curfew is later so after school I could just come over and we could go shopping and then when we get back Blaine and I can have our movie night." Kurt said looking between Blaine and his mom.

"Do you mind if I steal your boyfriend for an hour or two Thursday Blaine?" Kathy asked

"Hmmm, I'll make you both a deal, I'll let you kidnap my boyfriend for an hour if I get to go with and you make the cheesecake with the fruit on top." Blaine said

"I was planning on making that anyways. And you know I love spending time with you, so if your mom doesn't mind you going with us I don't care." Kurt said

"You are going to regret that one Kurt, Blaine likes to sneak things into the cart when no one is looking." Kathy said laughing.

"So it's settled then Thursday you are coming over and we are going shopping then you and Blaine will have your movie night and then you will come over Friday and help me cook?" Kathy said

"Sounds fun!" Kurt said

"I just want the cheesecake." Blaine said

"Kathy why doesn't Kurt just spend the night Thursday? What is the point of going all the way home and then coming back the next day? It's a 45 minute drive almost from here to his house." Richard spoke putting his sports show on mute.

Everyone was silent.

"Are you sure you’re ok with that dad?" Blaine said

"Seeing you two cuddled on your bed today was kind of an eye opener for me. I am still not comfortable with everything but I can tell you two love each other. I don't want to treat you any differently than I did your brother. If this was your brother and his girlfriend at your age and stage in your relationship I would offer the same thing. You are more courteous then your brother too so as long as no funny business goes on you two can sleep in the same room." Richard said.

"I'll have to ask my dad I don't know if he will go for it." Kurt said

"When you get home tonight ask your dad and if he has reservations call Blaine and I will talk to him." Richard said.

"Thanks dad you have no idea how much this means to me." Blaine said getting up and hugging his dad.

"Okay okay I'm trying to watch the recap now go help your boyfriend plan this dinner." Richard said smiling at his son.

By the time that Kurt had gone over the meal with Kathy it was time to leave.

"What time is your surgery tomorrow?" Kurt asked as he was getting his coat and bag from Blaine's room.

"3pm." Blaine said nervously.

"Don't be nervous baby, I will be there when you wake up. I researched the Dr doing the surgery and he is pretty amazing, so you have nothing to worry about." Kurt replied

"Only you would google my Dr to make sure he was good." Blaine laughed

"Well what you think I am going to allow your parents to let some grad student to touch you! I don't think so." Kurt smirked.

"I hope I will be able to go to school Monday." Blaine said

"You need to relax and listen to the doctors. Once they fix your cornea the pain will stop. I'm sure you'll still have some redness around your eye but that will go away. You are going to be good as new." Kurt said as they walked down the stairs to the door.

"What if something goes wrong and I go blind in that eye? Or what if they have to take it out?" Blaine asked worriedly.

"You would still be as handsome as ever. You would be the most handsome pirate that there ever was." Kurt said smiling trying to make Blaine laugh

"Even hotter than Johnny Depp?" Blaine asked

"Johnny Depp doesn't where an eye patch." Kurt snickered

"Answer it Kurt." Blaine asked pretending to be serious.

"Oh course you will always be hotter than Johnny Depp, there is no competition what so ever between you two. Although that untamed hair is pretty hot." Kurt said

"Hey!" Blaine said play hitting Kurt.

"What? I like your hair right now. All untamed. I like being able to run my hands through your hair for once." Kurt said seriously running his hands through Blaine's hair making him sigh.

"I will have to leave the product out for you sometimes then." Blaine said

"That would be hot." Kurt said.

"I find it funny how you are Mr. Put together but you think it's hot when I'm a mess." Blaine said

"That's because when you do it you look sexy. When I do it I just look like a mess." Kurt said

"We will have to agree to disagree. As much as I want you to stay you should get going you have school tomorrow and I have that stupid surgery. I'll see you tomorrow when I wake up okay?" Blaine said putting Kurt's coat on for him.

"I wish I could be there with you when you go under, I am not going to be able to concentrate at school at all tomorrow." Kurt said.

"I would say maybe we could meet for coffee except for the fact that I can't eat or drink anything after 10pm." Blaine said

"Text me when you wake up and I'll try to get away with texting you in class." Kurt said

"Kurt I don't want you to get in trouble." Blaine said

"I won’t I am the master of secret texting." Kurt said

"Okay I promise I will text you in the morning." Blaine said pulling his boyfriend in for a tight hug.

The two men kissed each other just lips, no tongue as Blaine's parents could walk by. Blaine pulled Kurt's lip into his mouth and nibbled on it causing Kurt to groan before pulling out of the kiss and giving him a peck on the nose.

"You are such a tease Blaine Warbler." Kurt said shifting where he stood.

"You need to get home before Burt comes after me." Blaine said.

"I know." Kurt sighed

"I'll see you tomorrow I love you baby." Blaine said

"I love you too." Kurt said leaning in for another chaste kiss.

Blaine opened the door for Kurt and waved as he got in his car and shut it again as Kurt drove off.

Authors note:

So there is what I have so far. We don't know anything really about Blaine's parents. A lot of fanfiction has Blaine's parents being mean and rude but I don't think that's how it would be. I mean he is so nice and sweet. We know his dad at least didn't take his sexuality very well at the beginning but I'd like to think his dad is trying.
