Santana and Blaine, disguised in hospital attire, made their way to the hospitals roof. The roof of the hospital featured an observation deck and there were some benches. A mechanical and electrical room was also located nearby. They discovered something covered in a black blanket in one of the benches. They pulled out the blanket to find Rachel, Tina, and Brittany, all tied up and gagged, looking all passed out. Santana and Blaine untied them quickly and woke them up.

Santana hugged all three girls seeing that they werent seriously hurt.

She says to them, "Thank god you girls are okay."

Rachel exclaimed, "Blaine, Santana! James was here, he was looking for you Blaine. Since we couldnt tell him where you went, he chloroformed us." 

Blaine says, "I need to confront him alone. Santana, please take the girls downstairs to safety."

"But Blaine...." Brittany says, but Blaine interrupts her and says, "Just do it! Please..."

And with that, the girls left, leaving Blaine to deal with James by himself.

Blaine shouted out to him, "James, where are you? I know youre here somewhere. Come on out!" 

James came out from his hiding spot, holding his pocket knife, and says to him, "Hello Blaine..." 

Blaine asked him,"Why did you stab and hurt my boyfriend?"

James replied, "I had to, out of revenge of my mothers death. My mother deserved that donor heart than Kurts mom years ago. I have to admit, Im jealous of your relationship with him."

Blaine says to him, "James, it wasnt right to hurt Kurt physically. He doesnt deserve this. When I first met him, I felt an instant connection that I needed to be with him. Our friendship and love for one another kept getting stronger each day. Hes in a coma right now, fighting for his life and he struggled so much from losing his mom to getting bullied at school. Im not ready to let him go as Im the person who needs to save him with this liver transplant. Look into your heart James, dont you feel something good inside? Your mother, whos probably watching above, wouldnt want this to happen. Please stop doing this. If you keep this up, youll end up in jail. Is that what you really want? Do you want to have a better future?"

James says to him, "I dont want to end up in jail. My life was like hell since my mom passed. It really hurts. I was very angry and upset that time that I was forced to move to another town so I wouldnt get into further trouble. I lost interest in studying and communicating with family and friends. I wasnt so sure what to do with myself when high school ends."

"James, its not too late to turn things around. Im definitely sure that youll have a good future ahead of you. We all struggled a lot to find and accept who we are. Being at Dalton, gave me the chance to have confidence, to be free, and even faced my fears." Blaine said.

"You really think I can pass through high school and be a better person?" asked James.

Blaine answered in a positive way, "Im positive James. Your twin brother Dave changed his ways after he transferred from McKinley."

James started to tear up and he says to him, "I shouldnt have done it. Im really scared Blaine."

Blaine tells James, "Come over here and Ill give you a hug. Everything is going to be okay. I promise."

The two embraced in a comfort hug. Suddenly, Finn, Dave, Mr. Schue, and Officer Joe arrive on the roof and when James saw them coming, he immediately held Blaine hostage aiming his pocket knife at his neck.

Blaine exclaimed to James, "James, what are you doing?! Please dont do this!"

Officer Joe said to James, "We got you surrounded. Drop your weapon and put your hands up!" 

James says to Officer Joe, "Never! To get me, you have to get through Blaine."

James then dragged Blaine towards the edge of the roof. 

"Guys, please save me." Blaine calmly said.

"James please stop. Killing yourself isnt the way to solve your problems." Finn says to him.

"I assure you James, there is help available. My co-worker and friend, who is a guidance councillor, may help you out." Mr. Schue said.

Dave says to his twin brother, "James, please release Blaine. The guys and I will be supportive of you, no matter what happens."

Blaine says to James, "Yeah, well be behind you. Remember what I told you earlier, its not to late to change and youre going to be a better person once you pass high school and then you have a good future. Please let me go before things turn worse."

James lets go of Blaine and suddenly stabs himself in the chest with the pocket knife. He says to Blaine before stepping off from the roof, "Blaine, Im sorry I hurt your man. Go save him."

Blaine cried out in a no response as he, Dave and Finn ran quickly towards the ledge from the roof to see where James had fallen. Luckily, James landed on a gigantic inflatable landing pad the police had set up rather than falling into the pavement head first below.

Officer Joe paged the police and paramedics below to take James to the ER while being under arrest as he is being treated for his stab wound.

Finn asked Blaine, "Are you okay?"

Blaine replied to him, "Im okay Finn, but a bit shaken. Its over now. All thats left is for me to save Kurt."

Finn said to him, "Lets go see him now."

Blaine says, "Yeah. I want to see hows he doing."

Dave said to them, "Im going down to the ER with Officer Joe to see hows the condition of my twin brother. Ill keep you posted."

Meanwhile, in Kurts hospital room, Kurts condition was deteriorating.

Carole says, "I think its time to page Dr. Greene, Dr. Carter, and Dr. Ross. The liver transplant needs to be done immediately." 

Burt was holding on to Kurts hand and says, "Son, hang in there. Blaine should be back here soon." 

Rachel shouted and cries out, "Kurt, please dont give up! Keep fighting!"
