An hour later, Blaine, who was riding in a wheelchair, with Finn pushing him behind, entered the ICU. They came towards a private room, where Kurt was in. Inside the room, Kurt was lying in a hospital bed, in a comatose state. He was wearing a hospital gown and covered with a blanket. He had some tubes and other medications on his arm and body and was breathing through a ventilator. A monitor was also nearby, tracking his BP and heartbeat. The beeping sound from the monitor gave some hope to Blaine as Kurt was still alive. Burt was sitting on a sofa nearby.

Blaine transferred himself from his wheelchair to the nearest chair next to Kurts bed. Blaine, took a hold of Kurts hand saying, "Kurt, if you can hear me, please hold my hand. Hang in there, Im going to save you, as promised. Ill be right by your side." He then kissed his forehead.

Two days later and still no change in Kurts condition. Blaine stayed with Kurt the entire time. The only time he stepped out of the room was just to use the washroom and eat. 

Later in the day, a knock on the door was heard. It was Dr. Greene. 

Dr. Greene entered the room and says, "Good afternoon, gentlemen. Blaine, I have good news regarding your donor compatibility." 

Blaine asked the doctor, "So, whats the result?" 

Dr. Greene gives Blaine the answer hes been waiting for. "Youre a perfect liver donor match for Kurt. In about two days, we can proceed with the liver transplant."

Blaine feeling relieved. "That...thats great." he says.

Burt and Finn embraced Blaine in a hug after hearing the news that Kurt was going to be saved. 

Burt says to Blaine, "Wow, I dont know what to say. Its kind of an early birthday gift for Kurt since his birthday is less than 2 weeks away." 

Blaine says to Burt, "May 27 isnt it? Kurt told me back in our school days at Dalton."

"Blaine, seeing you with my son makes me happy. Both of you had your ups and downs. In the next few days, you guys need to be brave. I dont want to lose my son just as I lost my first true love. Ill be supportive for both of you." says Burt. 

"Thank you Mr. Hummel," Blaine says. 

Burt said to him, "Call me Burt, Blaine. I accept you into our family. Youre always welcome."

"Ill pass the good news to Mr. Schue, the Glee club and the Warblers downstairs. They just arrived." Finn says.

Blaine tells Finn, "Ill go with you." Burt says, "Me too. Ill get Carole to look after Kurt for a few minutes."

Burt, Finn, and Blaine went downstairs to meet with the others, who were in the waiting room. They came with gifts such as stuffed animals, cards of support, and flowers. Finn told the good news about the transplant to everyone.

Finn says to them, "Hey guys. Thanks for coming to visit and support Kurt." 

"Kurt would sure like these gifts from you guys." Blaine said.

Mercedes tells Blaine, "Blaine, youre so lucky to have a guy like him by your side. Were all going to pray that the transplant goes well." 

Everyone went into cheers and applause. 

Wes says to Blaine, "Blaine, the Warblers will be behind the both of you. Once youre both out of the hospital, were working on a musical number to sing to you guys." Mr. Schue agreed too.

Just then, a police officer comes into the waiting room.
The police officer asked, "Excuse me? Is Mr. Hummel around?" 

Burt said to the officer, "Yeah, thats me." 

"My name is Officer Joe. Ill be handling the case of your sons stabbing incident. I need to ask you some questions in a private room. I will also need to speak with Blaine Anderson too afterwards." says the officer. 

Burt and Blaine agreed to the officers request. Suddenly, Blaine felt a vision in his mind. Hes seeing images of what happened to Kurt two days ago and then he gasped. 

Sam noticing whats going on with Blaine asked him, "You okay Blaine? Something wrong?" 

Blaine says to Sam, "No, I feel just fine."

In a private room, Officer Joe and Burt were having a Q&A conversation. The private room they were in is actually a vacant room that has 4 hospital beds with no patients and has 2 windows with blinds on the outside.

Officer Joe says to him, "Mr. Hummel, I noticed on your sons school records that he was a victim of bullying. Who was the name of the person that was bullying your son the most?" 

Burt answered, "The person that kept bullying my son was Dave Karofsky. He has since transferred schools when my son returned back to McKinley." 

Officer Joe said, "I see. So, ever since your son returned back to McKinley, there hasnt been a bullying incident on him." 

"Thats correct." answered Burt.

Officer Joe asked, "Was your son feeling or acting strange in the last few weeks or months leading up to the incident?" 

Burt replied, "Not at all officer. My son had his friends supporting and protecting him from harm. Blaine made him more happier when he calls or sends text messages or even comes to visit Lima on weekends." 

Officer Joe tells him, "I may have to speak with Dave Karofsky. He could be a person of interest in your sons case. We cant assume if he was the one who stabbed your son. Anyways, well keep you posted on your sons case if something comes up. Thanks for taking the time to speak with me." 

Burt says, "Your welcome, officer." They shook hands. 

Officer Joe asked Burt, "Please have Blaine come in here please."

Burt stepped out of the private room to get Blaine, who was hanging in the  waiting room with the Glee Club and Warblers. 

Burt tells Blaine, "Blaine, its your turn to see Officer Joe." 

Blaine gulped with guilt and says stepped inside the room and comes face to face with Officer Joe. Officer Joe told him, "Please have a seat." 

Blaine felt nervous and takes some deep breaths. 

Blaine tells Officer Joe, "Officer, I think I know what actually happened to Kurt that day."

Officer Joe says and asked, "I was going to ask you some questions about your friendship with Kurt. So, what happened that day?" 

"I want to tell you, but I need everyone to know including Mr. Hummel and Finn." said Blaine. 

Officer Joe agrees and says, "Alright, well have to gather everyone in here."

Everyone from the Glee Club, the teachers, the Warblers, and Kurts family gathered inside the private room. 

"Please Blaine, tell us what happened that day." says Officer Joe.

Blaine explains, "First of all, it might seem crazy. I actually dreamt of it while I was sleeping during the blood transfusion a few days ago. I was like a ghost or invisible to anyone. I was in McKinley and school just wrapped up for the day. I saw Kurt, Rachel, and Finn at their lockers, talking about their upcoming plans." 

Rachel interrupts, "Thats right, Kurt told me he was going on a dinner date after Glee club, but how did you know? Blaine I didnt see you." 

Artie says to Rachel, "Did you hear what Blaine said earlier? Blaine was in ghost/invisible mode."

Everyone went, "SHHHHH! We need to hear the rest of Kurts incident!" 

Artie and Rachel apologized. "Oops, sorry Blaine. Please continue on." Rachel said.

Blaine explained, "Where did I left off? Oh yes, on that day, Kurt was supposed to meet me on a dinner date at Breadstix. Kurt saw a note in his locker, thinking it was me who sent it to meet in the courtyard of the school. So, he was there, in the courtyard, supposedly waiting for me when I saw a suspicious looking guy at the top of the stairs, wearing all black attire. He was masculine looking, almost had mine or Finns height. He grabbed Kurt from behind and chloroformed his mouth with a cloth and then passed out, dropping his phone."

Everyone gasped in shock.

"The guy then carried Kurt into his car speeding off to Lima Park, but not before he left a note behind. That explained why Kurt didnt return my calls or messages as I was waiting for him at Breadstix. At Lima Park, at the spot where I found him near the bridge of love locks, the suspect dropped Kurt there and woke up to see him face to face. The suspect said something about their mothers past and then threatened to kill Kurt and I as he pulled out a pocket knife. They went into a fight until he stabbed Kurt twice in the abdomen, leaving him for dead."

Blaine paused as he began to sob and cry, as well as most of the female gleeks. 

Tina, who was crying and getting consoled by Mike. She says, "Its so sad. I dont want any of us to get hurt physically."

"Had we found Kurt sooner, he wouldnt be in the hospital in a coma." says Rachel, who was crying too and getting consoled by Finn. 

Mercedes cries, "I feel heartbroken. I was like a mother figure to him. He cant leave us! Hes too young to die!"

After a few minutes of sad tears, Blaine resumed the incident story. "The suspect took off his mask and revealed himself. His face resembles that of Dave, but has blond bleached hair. Before he drove off to leave Kurt for dead, he said his name is James Karofsky. We need to find this guy before Kurt gets hurt again and I could be a potential target too."

Officer Joe says, "So, James Karofsky is our guy. Not to worry, Im calling for backup to search for him." 

Finn cuts in and says, "We want to help too! Please Officer Joe! Let us look for this coward who did this to my step-brother, our friend and serve him justice." 

Officer Joe sighs and says to Finn and the group, "Alright, but please be careful guys. This James Karofsky might be armed and dangerous."
