Kurt and I decided to go exploring, finding a secluded part of the park and walking around. The park was busy today, but only where they were selling ice cream and drinks and where the portable toilets were. If you ventured farther, past the line of trees, there was a small space where there were tons of flowers and one huge tree in the middle with low, easy to climb branches.
It was interesting watching Kurt bring me here, because I've never been here until now, but I know why Kurt was so excited. This place is amazing. Kurt went and sat on his knees under the tree, and I followed, laying down on my back and resting my head on his legs.
"Kurt, this place is beautiful. How did you find it?" I looked up at him in question.
He looked down at me. "Once my mom brought me here, and I saw a bunny coming towards here, and I followed it, and then I looked through the trees, and saw all the flowers. I just sat here with her, after she followed me. I came here when she died, too. After school one day. My dad found me, of course. At first I was mad that he found me, because he wasn't supposed to know about this place. But I just started coming here with him, instead. And now here we are." He gave a small smile, and ran a hand through my un-gelled hair; he used the other hand to stroke my cheekbone with his thumb.
I used one of my hands to reach up cup his cheek the best I could from this position, using my thumb to gently stroke the spot beneath his earlobe. He turned his head and kissed my palm. I sat up and turned around, mirroring the way he was sitting. I cupped his cheek again, wiping the one tear that managed to escape away with my thumb. I leaned in and gently kissed his lips, then pulled away and pressed my forehead against his.
"Thanks for bringing me. It's beautiful, like you." I smiled at him.
He blushed. "You're welcome." He kissed me on the nose. I crawled around him and sat against the tree, crossing my legs. I motioned for him to sit in my lap, and he did, sitting sideways and leaning his head against my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around him.
We sat like that for a while, but it started to get uncomfortable.
"Kurt, my ass is starting to fall off, and my legs are asleep."
"Want to go get some ice cream?"
"Only if we can return to this position after."
"Deal," he said, crawling off my lap.
