Author's Notes: this has been in a word doc for SO long
Normally by the second week of school (especially with it being a Monday and all) Kurt would have to give himself a reason to even get out of bed. This year things were going to be different, in every aspect. Not only did he get to spend every day with one Blaine Anderson, but he also planned to get involved in a ton of stuff throughout the year.

Kurt rolled out of bed and did his morning routine as usual, although it seemed to go by quicker today. He went into his closet to try to find something to wear that day. Looking past Blaine’s old blazer and dress shirt, he settled on the usual vest with a button up shirt and skinny jeans.

Finn and Kurt made their way into school, soon going their separate ways. Kurt went to his locker, getting there easily since the halls weren’t crowded with the morning rush yet. He was lucky enough to get a locker in a hallway that was mostly deserted, so there were only about three people in the hall so far. He quickly grabbed his books and put them in his bag, and took a few extra minutes to re-organize his locker.

Blaine arrived at the school earlier than usual. So far there was only teacher’s cars and a couple of student’s cars in the parking lot, along with some bikes locked onto the nearby bike rack. He made his way into the school and made a beeline for his locker, where he grabbed his Spanish homework, prepared to sit and finish the last touches on it so it could be handed in early.

As he worked, a few more students made their way into the building. He noticed Finn coming down the hallway with his backpack slung over one shoulder. Blaine stood up and jogged down the hall and slowed when he neared Finn.

“Hey, uh, did Kurt happen to catch a ride with you?” Blaine asked, tilting his head up to look at Finn’s face rather than his chest.

“Uh, yeah, he should be at his locker.” Finn replied, looking like he was a little more accepting of Blaine then he had been the previous week, but still clearly not any more trusting.

“Thanks.” Blaine relieved Finn of his discomfort and started power-walking in the direction of Kurt’s locker with his Spanish work tucked under his left arm. He rounded the corner to the deserted hallway, which now only had Kurt in it.

“Good morning, beautiful,” the curly haired boy said, leaning his right elbow against the locker beside Kurt’s.

Kurt jumped a little in surprise, not expecting anyone to come down this hallway so early in the morning. “’Good morning’ is such an oxymoron,” he said, turning slightly in Blaine’s direction.

Blaine chuckled and carefully closed Kurt’s locker, then swiftly trapped Kurt between himself and the locker, his right hand beside Kurt’s head. He double checked that there still wasn’t anybody else in the hallway before leaning in and kissing the other boy on the lips sweetly, pulling away with a huge smile.
