"Shit," Kurt said as he woke up with a groan. He rolled off Blaines chest and clutched his forehead, "I feel like I was ran over by a train. Long and painful train." "Thats what she said," Blaine chuckled a little, "Good morning or I guess good afternoon. Its technically 1:00. Are you going to puke again?" Blaine asked.

Last night Kurt had woke up around 2:00 to puke his guts out. Blaine had followed him into the bathroom to hand him the aspirin and the glass of water that were on the nightstand. Kurt had taken them gratefully and promptly fell asleep on the bathroom ground. Blaine had picked him up and once he was able to balance with the height difference, he laid him in the bed. Blaine went back to his side to have Kurt roll back towards Blaine like a gravitational force and lay his head on his chest with his hand gripping Blaines shirt.

"Uggg," Kurt moaned as he sat up and rubbed at his temples, "Dont talk about that. Can I have another aspirin?" Blaine made an affirmative sound as he got up and walked into the bathroom. He grabbed a pill from the bottle in the medicine cabinet. He came back and handed it over to Kurt. "Thanks," Kurt mumbled as he downed the pill and a gulp of water, "Did I say anything stupid last night?"

Blaine thought of Nate and Aaron and what Kurt had said about them last night. He thought of Kurts idea to forget about their plans and how he was grateful his life didnt work the way he thought it would. He thought about how Kurt asked if Blaine had ever felt like giving up and how the thought of Kurt doing just that tore his heart apart. He also thought about Santana asking him to not listen to what he said. That was pointless to think about. He had heard every word. He was just smart enough to not reiterate it. He swallowed before clearing his throat and shaking his head.

"No. You did tell me you lived at P. Sherman, Wallaby Way, Sydney, though. I had to call Santana and ask for directions," Blaine said with a smile. Kurt laughed a little before wincing, "Ow. My brain is not ready for conversation. Can we go find some grease to eat? I feel pretty nauseous still." Blaine nodded and held up a hand for Kurt to pull himself up with. Kurt mumbled a thank you before looking down and his bare legs.

"I need pants," Kurt said. Blaine snorted and grabbed a pair of sweats that were laying on a chair in the corner. He passed the gray pants to Kurt who grimaced at them and looked up at Blaine, "Im chief editor at Vogue, Blaine. I cant wear these in public." Blaine rolled his eyes, "You can and you will. Now lets go." Kurt sighed and quickly slipped on the sweats and followed Blaine back to the main room. Blaine tied his tennis shoes on and Kurt did the same with his. The two didnt say a word until they were walking down Kurts street towards a McDonalds.

"You suck," Kurt muttered. Blaine raised an eyebrow at him, "Why?" "Because you dont have a hangover." Blaine smiled and slung an arm over Kurts shoulders, "Im sorry you have a hangover. Ill pay for McDonalds though." Kurt glared a little at him as Blaine pulled his arm back. It was quiet a moment before, "Did I really not say anything stupid or are you just protecting me?" Blaine shrugged and looked down.

Kurt sighed a little as he pulled open the door to the newly redone restaurant. "What do you want?" Blaine asked pulling out his wallet. "I want you to tell me the truth. I always, always talk about Nate and Aaron when Im drunk. Dont lie to me, Blaine. Please dont," Kurt pleaded. "I meant to eat," Blaine said awkwardly. Kurt blushed, "Oh, uh, a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. Can I also have just a water?" Blaine nodded as he got in line and Kurt sat down at a table and chairs next to the window. Kurt rubbed at his eyes as his head pounded softly. It wasnt as bad as before but still annoying.

A small part of Kurt hoped he did mention Aaron and Nate. He always poured his heart out when he was drunk. It was really the best way to get to know him. Slip him a couple of shots and you learn about his problems and dreams. Truthfully, he just wanted to not have to explain it all sober. Explaining it when youre smashed means you dont have to remember it again even though he remembered it every damn day.

Five minutes later, Blaine walked back over with a tray that held Kurts order, a cup filled with water, a coffee, and a wrapped item that read ‘Sausage McMuffin. "Thats disgusting," Kurt said as he scrunched up his nose. "Adorable," Blaine thought as he took a bite of his food. "Is not. Take a bite," he said, holding it at to Kurt. Kurt raised his eyebrows and looked at Blaine. Blaine nodded encouragingly. Kurt leaned over and took a bite as Blaine held it.

Kurt chewed it and swallowed. He shrugged as he unwrapped his breakfast, "Its fine, I guess." Kurt could feel his cheeks reddening from what he had just done. He was probably supposed to take it from his hand and take a bite. Not just lean over. Idiot.

"Told you," Blaine said proudly as he bit into it. Kurt looked up at Blaine, "So did I mention them?" Blaine gave him a disapproving look, "Kurt..." "No. Did I or did I not mention them?" Kurt said firmly. Blaine pressed his lips together before letting out a quiet, "Yes." Kurt nodded to himself before biting into his sandwich.

"Nate was mine, you know. Charlotte is Aarons. Biologically I mean. Aaron was a writer. Like, for books. Really good, too. He was in the midst of writing some book he planned to sell when he died. He never finished it." "Kurt you dont have to talk about it," Blaine said as he listened to Kurt. Kurts voice was monotonous while he described Aaron. No emotion played across his face or voice.

"I want to. Its hard to talk about, but my dad always said it might help me," Kurt said with a shrug. "In the middle of McDonalds?" Blaine retorted. "No time like the present," Kurt said with a small smile. Blaine stared at him for a second before sighing, "Okay. You can tell me whatever you want."

Kurt and him talked for two hours at McDonalds and then for another three hours back at his apartment. Kurt talked about their first meeting, their first date, their engagement, their wedding, deciding on surrogates, and finally Nate and Aarons death. They had laughed, cried, and sat in silence every now and then. It was now nearing 7:00 at night, and Natalia had yet to call (Not that Blaine was complaining.)

At some point in the storytelling, Kurt had ended up with his head in Blaines lap as Blaine stroked his hair gently. They had stayed quiet for about ten minutes like this before Blaine broke the comforting silence. "Natalias pregnant," he said quietly. Kurt stayed silent a moment, "Congratulations." "I guess," Blaine said. Kurt sat up and looked at him, confused.

"You guess?" Blaine sighed, "Yeah. Marital issues. Sophias excited. She demands we name the baby Butterfly," Blaine rolled his eyes and Kurt began laughing. "Please dont name your child Butterfly," Kurt laughed. Blaine scoffed playfully, "I will make no such promise, Mr. Hummel. Butterfly Cakepop Anderson. I can see it now." Kurt rolled his eyes with a smile before setting his head back onto Blaines lap.

"Yeah. In a Strawberry Shortcake book. And Cakepop? Really?" Kurt said with just the right amount of sass to be passed off as a joke. Blaine smiled mischievously as he started to tickle Kurts sides. Kurt began to wriggle around and giggle as he desperately tried to push his hands away. Unfortunately, Blaine was unrelenting.

"Blaine! Blaine! S-Stop," Kurt said as he wiggled a little and kicked his legs around. Blaine laughed as he swung a leg over Kurts waist and continued to tickle him. Blaine was immediately transported back to that summer with Nick. His fingers stilled for a second before he grinned and pulled his hands away from Kurts sides but not getting off him.

Kurt stopped laughing and smiled up at him. Blaine stared right into the mans blue-green eyes and felt his heart pulsate quickly in his chest. Those eyes showed pure freedom. Blaine could stare into them for the rest of his life. He couldnt keep ignoring the part of him that told him to. He was done ignoring it. Blaine smiled sweetly at his eyes, unable to pull away from their gaze as he talked.

"Last night, you said something about forgetting our plans. I told you that I hate my plan, and I do. My plan is slowly suffocating me. So is my wedding ring, and my house, and my damn wife. Kurt, I-I dont want to suffocate anymore, but Im too afraid to see whats above the water Ive been drowning in since I was sixteen," Blaine said.

Kurt suddenly became very aware of how close they were. Blaine had placed his hands on either side of Kurts head so he was just leaning over him. His eyes and not left his hazel ones the whole time. They were just too beautiful to ignore. "Its pretty beautiful up here," Kurt whispered. Blaine finally looked at Kurts whole face and smirked a little, "Knew it." Blaine leaned forward to kiss Kurt who raised a hand to Blaines chest to stop him.

"Dont. You have a wife," Kurt said. "Sadly," Blaine muttered. "A pregnant wife. You have a daughter. You need to talk to Natalia. Before we do anything like that, you need to tell her how you feel," Kurt stated. Blaine sighed and sat up. He moved off Kurt to sit at the end of the couch. "I know. I just have never actually said it." Blaine looked down at his hands sadly and Kurt bit his lip before grabbing Blaines hand and standing them both up.

"Come on. Were gonna dance and make dinner and talk and then were going to dance again, because if theres one thing Ive learned its that music always helps," Kurt smiled kindly and Blaine chuckled a little, "Deal. What song?" Kurt pursed his lips as he pulled Blaine toward his record player. "Wow. Vintage," Blaine said with a nodded. Kurt swatted at his shoulder as he rifled through his collection of different albums.

"Ah ha! Found it," Kurt put the CD it and smiled when it began to play. "Perfect," Kurt said as he yanked Blaine towards him and put one hand in his hand and the other on his waist as he began to sing the words. Blaine grinned and began to dance with Kurt as the song played, joining along as the song played.

Of course it was too early to say those words. Blaine knew that if he had said it anyway it wouldnt be true. They had just met, but there was not a doubt in his mind that one day one of them will say it and mean every word. Kurt and Blaine danced their way in circles towards the kitchen. Once they reached the kitchen, they parted ways as Kurt went towards the refrigerator and Blaine hopped onto the counter top and sang.

Kurt giggled and did a little spin towards the stove as he took out a box of leftover pizza. Blaine smiled at Kurt who grinned back and put a few slices of the cheese pizza into the microwave. Blaine stopped singing and rested his elbows on his knees and sat his head in his hands. "Pizza?" Blaine asked. Kurt smiled apologetically, "Sorry. I know this isnt exactly ideal, but I had just came to New York and wanted to buy some famous New York pizza." "You went to Dominos," Blaine said with a laugh.

Kurt shoved at Blaines legs as Blaine laughed and Kurt tried to fight off his smile. "It does taste good though," Kurt defended himself. "Yeah but its not like the ‘Famous New York Pizza people usually desire," Blaine said as he jumped off the counter but leaned against it and watched Kurt. "Maybe..." Kurt began quietly, "Maybe you can take me to one of those places where they sell the pizza that is talked about everywhere." Blaine smirked and put his hands on either side of Kurts body so he was in front of him.

"Maybe I will. Maybe I can take you and Charlotte and Sophia to that ice cream shop she always wants to go to. Maybe we can all walk around Central Park or have a picnic. I can show you everything in New York, Kurt. You and Charlotte. And I promise, one day I know I will," Blaine said softly. Kurt stared at Blaine happily. When he spoke, it was slightly breathy, "Pizzas done." Blaine hadnt even heard the beep.

He backed up and let Kurt grab the pizza from the microwave and sat it on the small kitchen table. "What do you want to drink? I have water or soda?" Kurt asked as he walked back in the kitchen. "Waters fine," Blaine said. Kurt grabbed two cups from the cupboard and filled them both up in the sink. He passed a cup to Blaine who laughed a little as he looked at the cup. On the side was a picture of none other than Snow White herself.

Kurt smiled as he showed him that his cup had a picture of Belle. Blaine laughed and took a drink from the cup. The two walked to the small table and sat down. They were about half-way through before Kurt looked up at Blaine. "What marital issues were you talking about earlier? When you brought up Natalias pregnancy."

Blaine swallowed and sighed as he interlocked his fingers together on the table, "Besides the fact shes not my gender type? Shes just so argumentative. I sometimes have a hard time just thinking about her and not becoming angry." "Great marriage," Kurt said with a humorless laugh. "Like, I know she loves Sophia and she cares about her but theres no warmth. She has zero mothering instinct and a person like me who thrives on being a parent, I have a really time being around her. Shes always been sort of a stuck-up bitch but I never thought shed be a heartless stuck-up bitch."

Kurt snorted, "Maybe shes not. She was crying when one of the guys at work, Garret, was talking about how his fiancé proposed to him." "Hormones, Kurt. Hormones. Also, she hates music. What kind of person hates music? There was no music at her wedding. And yes, her wedding. Im sure I was only invited because she couldnt marry herself up there," Blaine said harshly. Kurt raised his eyebrows and sat a hand over Blaines in attempt to calm him.

Blaines anger lessened at Kurts calming smile and soft hand on his. Without a word, Kurt got up, walking away from Blaine, towards the record player. He stopped the record and grabbed a new one to put on. Blaine sat quietly as he watched Kurt put on the new record. Once it started, Kurt walked over to Blaine and held his hand out to him.

"Blaine Anderson? Will you dance with me tonight?" Kurt asked with a shy smile. As if Blaine was going to reject him. Blaine grabbed onto Kurts hand and stood. "Id love to dance with you," Blaine said as he wound his arms around waist and his head pressed to his shoulder. Kurt had his hands pressed to Blaines back to hold him close as the two moved in slow circles.

"I feel like I messed up so much in life Kurt. So much. I love Sophia and I know Ill love the new baby I just dont want to lose any of them to Natalia. Not forever at least," Blaine whispered brokenly. "You wont, Blaine. Youre an amazing father. To Sophia and you will be to that baby. I know it," Kurt said firmly yet quietly. "Do you think I should wait until the baby is born to tell her? I dont want to but I dont want to cause her more stress," Blaine said as he bit his lip. Kurt sighed softly and pressed a small, barely there kiss to Blaines temple.

"Its up to you. All I know, is that when you do you and Sophia can stay here for as long as you would like," Kurt said. "Forever?" Blaine asked hopefully. Kurt felt himself smile a little, "If thats what it comes to, yes. You are welcome to stay here forever." Blaine said a quiet ‘yay and Kurt giggled a little. He sighed and held Blaine closer.

"Why do I feel like Ive known you forever?" Kurt asked more to himself. "I feel that exact same way, Kurt. I feel like Im home now. Like Im done searching," Blaine said. Kurt smiled, "Me too. Im just so happy right now. I feel like I could do anything." "Except kiss me," Blaine said softly. "Except kiss you," Kurt agreed, "Someday. Someday Ill kiss you so much youll be sick of it."

"Doubt it," Blaine murmured into Kurts shoulder. Kurt closed his eyes and leaned his head against Blaines curls. "I imagine it sometimes, you know. You, Sophia, Charlotte, and I just here. Maybe Im making dinner and look over and see you helping the girls make a fort out of our blankets. Wed eat dinner inside the fort and tell stories and sing until everyone fell asleep inside. Wed wake up in the morning with Charlotte and Sophia wriggling around and jumping on top of us. Wed just look at each other and know that everything is perfect. Of course, were all sore from laying on the hard ass ground, and our fort is half-collapsing, but its us; all of us, and neither could think of anything more wonderful.

"I want that, Blaine. I want all of that. But I cant have any of that until you tell Natalia. Theres no time limit. Im just telling you my dreams for later, and all of them involve you." Blaine was silent and Kurt was scared he had said too much when Blaine lifted his head from Kurts shoulder and looked at him, tears running down his face. He grinned a watery grin.

"You make it really hard for me to not just kiss you myself," Blaine said. Kurt grinned back and wiped the tear tracks that were on his face. He guided Blaines head back to his shoulder because, honestly, he was holding back from kissing him himself. They still moved in slow circles as they listened to the calming music of Andy Williams.

"I imagine it too. At first it scared me because you were ruining all my stupid plans but once I let myself think about them I couldnt stop. They will come true, right?" Blaine asked quietly. "Every single one," Kurt said. "Even the one where we are superheroes that fight crime? You can fly in that dream and I can shoot fire from my hands. I want that one to come true the most," Blaine said seriously. Kurt swatted at Blaines bicep and laughed softly.

"Ill try my damnedest, Blaine," Kurt said as Blaine chuckled. "Do you think Ill be able to do it, Kurt? Ive been with her for ten years. Thats quite a commitment," Blaine said more seriously. "I know you will. I believe in you," Kurt said quietly. "How do I do it? How will I able to do it?" Blaine said as a tear rolled down his cheek.

"Courage, Blaine. Courage."

The two hummed along to the song. Blaine felt like he was living in a dream. He felt like he could wake up and it would all be gone. He didnt want to wake up and go home. So instead, he stayed there with Kurt and made promises of tomorrow.

Natalia sat on her couch as she flipped through channels on her television. Her husband had texted twenty minutes ago and said he was staying at Wess again to drink some beer Wes had bought. Natalia was actually happy. She never got time to herself. It was always Sophia this, Sophia that. She liked not having to do all the cooking and cleaning like normally.

She sighed tiredly when there was a knock at the door. She got up and answered it. She was surprised to see her cousin she hadnt seen in ten years standing at the door with a large smile. The girl held her arms up as if to say ‘Im here. Applaud for me.

"Surprise!"
