Author's Notes: And just to make things clear, Blaine and the horse's relationship is not sexual (that was even akward to write)

Blaine sat on his family's deck for the last time, smelling the fresh summer air of the large green yard with the most beautiful Oak tree in the distance with the twin painted swings. The grass under the tree was plush and green from the shade of the tree.

To Blaine's left was the old-fashioned red barn with two big doors on it he and his dad built last summer so Blaine's horses ,Sundance and Legacy could roam as they pleased.

To his right were the pasture his family's horses stayed. They soon would be given away to the ungodly people with annoying children that hated animals that would be moving in. But All of this would be gone in just a couple of days.

Legacy was his pride and joy, there was nothing was better than taking her up the trails and just losing himself with her. They were best friends, Blaine's only friend. They did everything together, they rode together, they relaxed together, and saved the world together, even if it was just in Blaine's mind. Blaine would sing to her and she looked at him as if she was singing with him, with her heart. He needed to be with her, right now. Without another thought Blaine got up and went to the barn to grab his favorite wore out jeans that made him feel like a cowboy and got out of his black skin tight jeans and just be free with Legacy. She always knew when Blaine was coming because she could hear the rustling of Blaine's boots and the way he sounded as he walked in them. Blaine walked across the gravel pathway in his jeans, dirty brown boots with white trimming and a white tanktop showing his very toned muscles and in his hand it held apple, just like always. She galloped to wait for him by the gate but far enough back so he could easily slip in. It took his breath away everytime he saw her. She was white as snow with unusal black as coal of a mane. He got chills when he looked in her eyes, which were always looking into his. Although he would never say goodbye to her forever he already had the "leaving for a while talk" and she understood him by following him on his heels all day which he had not minded the least.

"Hey girl , I missed you." Blaine said feeding her the apple and stroking her soft smooth mane.

"After we clean you up, wanna go for a ride?" Blaine alwayed whispered to her when they were close; making it a very intamate moment between them. She stepped closer, carefully avoiding his feet and rubbing her warm nose against his cheek.

"Haha. Alright I'll take that as a yes princess." Blaine said laughing.

Nipping as his bushy curls signaling to hurry up with the grooming supplies she stepped on his foot.

"Watch out fatty, you're like four times my size, watch it."

With a apologetic bow of the head he instantly forgave her and kissed her muzzle

"Ok, I forgive you." She liffted her head quickly pushing him back on his heels like she always done to try and play a "trick" on him, which he figured out long ago but always played along.

Finishing with cleaning her feet he grabbed her favorite blanket, saddle and most comfortable bit so she would be as relaxed as he was when he was with her.

"Trails or arena? You pick."

Legacy picked the arena for a change and slowly headed through the barn to the arena gate. They spent hours galloping, cantering and running through the poles, barrels and over heardles.

"You tired you sis?" She stubbornly snorted and left the arena heading to the trails.

"But we've been in here for two hours." She still refused, she sensed something was wrong with Blaine and refused to let him go until she found out.

"Ok, you're the boss." She took a left to go down the long driveway to the trails. Blaine talked about how nervous he will be to start his new school, a public school called "William McKinnley High."

Starting out to be a Junior he hopes he finds new friends because his old ones were stolen from him from the new head of the Warblers, Sebastian Smythe. He talked about how sexy Smythe was. She listened. She always listened, even though she never said anything back he knew she understood. He talked about how he wondered how cool McKinnley's Glee Club will be. He heard they won Nationals last year.

"They must be like megastars or something." Legacy still knew he wasn't talking about what was hurting him and she stopped.

"Babe come on...Let's go...Aren't you tired, itis pretty hot. Let's go back. She snorted and stomped her foot, looking up at him.

"Then what is it?" Why are you so stubborn today. Let's go."

She was getting frustrated so she snorted again.

"You know... Don't you...that somethings up, don't you?"

Happily she started walking again.

"Fine. God, you know me better than I know myself. Well." Blaine sighed.

"You don't care that I'm gay, but they might." He jumped off of her so he could be eye-to-eye even though she was way taller than him because Blaine was only 5'8.She leaned her nose on his shoulder and a tear silently slid down his cheek.

"Come on babe, it's getting late and you're tired now and I smell like horse." As soon as he said that she purposefully stepped on his toes and started walking away.

"Hey! You turd! You know you smell bad." He said smiling.

After putting her to bed in her freshly cleaned stall it was about 5:00. He was putting his boots away and putting his own shoes back on when he stepped outside and looked at the freshly painted country styled home, white with purple trimmings.Time to return back to reality. He walked into the home to his mom making chicken but the house was a cool breeze from the hot sun which felt amazing."Hey mom!" He said walking into the kitchen with dirt filled everything.

"Hey honey, I love you but the barn smells better than you."

"I know, I know. I'm going to take a shower, will I be late for dinner?"

"No baby, just hurry though, ok?"

"Alright mom, love you."

After his cool shower he threw on a light, white v-neck and a pair of sweat pants. He combed his monster curls and took a look around his empty room. The only things were left was his clothes, his bed and his guitar but everything else was already at the other house.Down the stairs he flew to the kitchen table, realizing he was starving.

"Everyone dig in." All five of them happily obliged including Aleah, his 8 year old baby sister and his other sister Halie who just turned 14 also including Frank, their dad.

"Thanks mom." The kids said in unison.

"You're welcome, kids."

"So we leave tomorrow, bright and early." It was more of a command from mom than a statement.

Blaine's eyes saddened when he realized he was starting school next week.

"So honey have you gone and finished school clothes shopping?" Blaine answered as best he could without tearing up.

"Yeah, I bought lots of clothes and bow-ties to go with each outfit, except for one which I'll get tomorrow."

"Blaine, your mom and I love you but don't you think that's...too much." His dad interjected.

" What do you mean? Wes and David would have loved them."

"You see son, public school is very different from Dalton. Your mom and will be very busy for a couple of months until we settle down with our new jobs and we don't want anything to happen to you."

"I'll be fine dad, I promise."

He excused himself to his room and finally noticed how the sun had very generously licked his skin. Why couldn't it be a boy instead?

Oh well he thought, "Mr. Right will come someday." But knowing he will be leaving Legacy, Dalton, his house he grew up in, his friends and his family's stability he started to feel more than lonely. It was an ache that radiated his body.He had no idea what he was about to get himself into either which would make it worse.

through the eyes of Kurt...
Kurt lazily got up out of his velvet silk bed sheets and stumbled into his pristine clean bathroom across his fuzzy purple carpet he loved so much. This was suppose to be HIS summer, to find friends and maybe even a summer fling with Mr. TAll, dark and handsome. But nope, he slept, shopped and had sleep-overs with 'Cedes and Rachel. As Kurt looked in the mirror he thought he was going to die from the ugly looking back at him.
"Damn, what did you do last night?" But Kurt's night only consisted of himself and a bowl of frozen yogurt. He fixed his hair to its normal perfection and slipped on his favorite summer outfit. Today was the day he was changing into the Senior Kurt he dreamed about since he was twelve and he would buy the most fashionable clothes in the process.
Walking down the stairs his dad looked at him with a hidden pity that Kurt could see right through that always made him self-conscious.
"Yeah, dad?"
"Son, are you sure you're going to be OK this year?" Kurt relaxed a little.
"Yeah, dad I'll be fine." Kut forced a smile.
"The tire shop is getting on it's feet now and I won't be home as often. I don't want you to get hurt or feel like you're alone."
"Dad, I swear I will be fine, it's my Senior Year. I have survived the last three, haven't I?"
"Barely."
"Come on dad, don't say that remember what mom said to me the first day of school?"
"Yeah, "Courage Honey."
"That replays in my head every single time I'm slushied, pushed into lockers or thrown in dumpsters and look im still alive."
"But Kurt, Being alone is being alone, not being alive." He slowly walked out the door, leaving Kurt with those words and tears in Kurt's eyes because he knew they were true.
He called Rachel and Mercedes and told them he wanted to shop alone today and they wondered but didn't question.
Kurt was driving to the Westerville Mall, two hours away so he could think about absolutely nothing and just engulf himself in music as he often done when he could feel nothing but hurt. Why he hurt so much was a mystery to him. He had a good relationship with his father and step-brother, two good friends, great grades and and amazing voice. What more could he want? He was alive, wasn't he?
Westerville Mall never had Kurt's size of mens clothes, Kurt was very slender but had very toned arms and legs so the style of clothing he liked never fit right. Looking for a pair of jeans he heard a vaguely familiar voice and raised his head to see the lead of the Warbler's asking for something about bow-ties. Kurt's eyes melted at the sight of a curly haired, very tan boy that looked nothing like the fancy show boy aura he's seen at sectionals but he knew it was him. Damn was he beautiful. His skin was so dark and his hazel eyes were bright with the white color of his v-neck.
"Thanks." he heard him say and turned to the small section of bow-ties in the corner.
Kurt followed him and watched him pick up bow-ties, sigh and put them down obviously not knowing witch ones worked good for him.
"Having trouble picking?" Kurt said before he could stop himself with a shy smile on his face
"Yeah, the're all really different."
"Well if I may, this one goes with your eyes." Blaine noticed that he wasn't a worker and accepted the advice. As a matter of fact this man was beautiful. His perfectly trim waist and his amazing jawline that Blaine could just see himself lightly nibbling. A surge of lighting felt like it soared through him while he watched Kurt pick up the bow-tie on the bottom self that gave a perfect glance of his ass. Kurt, picking up a white and wine colored striped one and putting up to Blaine's neck and looking in the mirror with him.
"It's perfect. It's totally my new favorite, thanks." Kurt was staring at Blaine's oxfords and barely caught his words.
"You're welcome, I'll see you around."
"Likewise, likewise." Blaine said smiling and looking into Kurt's green, gray eyes.
With that Kurt went home with only four more outfits and with Blaine definitely on his mind.

"Dammit. Anderson...Anderson. I know his first name. Blake? Barrett Did it even start with a B? Was it Darren? BLAINE! IT WAS BLAINE!" Kurt swerved his car when he remembered when the Warbler's were introduced on stage last year.
