Author's Notes: Holy shit it has been so long since I updated and for that I am so fucking sorry. Life is so busy, but I love this story so much I feel the need to carry on. Thanks advance for reading. <3

Kurt ran his hands up and down Blaine's back, trying his best to lift up the shirt that he was wearing. It had been so long since another pair of lips had touched his. God, why did he want Blaine so bad right now? He tried not to think about it and instead focused on untucking Blaine's shirt from his pants. He felt Blaine's hands come down to meet his, and quickly helped with Kurt's job. Kurt then moved his hands to Blaine's hair, pulling and massaging the dark brown curls that covered it. He felt Blaine's teeth on his neck, and cringed. This was too much.

"Blaine," sighed out Kurt as he pushed Blaine off of him, for real this time.

Blaine buttoned up his dress shirt and looked at Kurt blankly. He shook his head, "Too much for you, huh" he said smugly.

Kurt rolled his eyes. How could Blaine still be such an asshole, even after what just happened between them? "You wish," Kurt said as he wiped his mouth, "What was that even about, Blaine?"

"Hey, I was just seeing how you would react," said Blaine, tucking his dress shirt back into his pants, "And you reacted just how I predicted."

"And how's that" Kurt said, trying to sound unamused.

"You're joking, right?" laughed out Blaine, "You jumped me like a lion attacking a baby gazelle. You missed me Hummel. You missed me and my amazing tongue skills."

Kurt shot back a laugh. "No I didn't," he said, crossing his arms, "Not at all."

Blaine moved his body across the couch so that his forehead was now touching Kurt's. "Really," he whispered while looking directly into Kurt's eyes, "You're telling me that you didn't miss this face. This body. These lips. This fucking smoking hot chemistry that we have."

Kurt stared into Blaine's eyes for a second. He was right, Kurt did miss him and everything that he was. Well, not really miss, but rather long for it. But Blaine wasn't going to know that, not on Kurt's watch. "You can't miss something you never had," Kurt said, twisting his head so that he and Blaine's heads were no longer touching.

Kurt got up off of the couch and walked to the other side of the room. When he turned around, he saw Blaine sitting criss-crossed on the couch. Their eyes met, and Kurt bit his lip.

"What are you doing here, Blaine?" Kurt asked, exasperated. He was getting frustrated now, and honestly just wanted an answer as to why Blaine Anderson was sitting on his couch, and wanted to be his new roommate.

"Meh," said Blaine, tilting his head, "It's a nice place. Cheap, for someone like myself, but that is half of the appeal." He licked his lips, "The other half being you."

"Cut the shit," Kurt said, rolling his eyes, "Rachel's not here. I don't wanna hear it."

"What shit?" asked Blaine, fanning out his arms.

"You know damn well," sharply said Kurt.

Blaine looked a Kurt for a long minute. His eyes trailing up Kurt's body, practically undressing him with his eyes. "It's not shit," he said quietly, yet stern.

Kurt bit his thumbnail and bent his left knee. Was Blaine actually trying to open up? Impossible, that wasn't in Blaine's character at all.

"Kurt, I" Blaine started, but Kurt shook his head.

"No," Kurt said looking at the ground first before looking towards Blaine, "I don't want an explanation now, I wanted an explanation a year ago. I needed an explanation a year ago. But I didn't get one. I had no idea who you even were, what you were doing, anything about you Blaine! And now, here you are about to give me some story that his supposed to make me feel sorry for you? No. You don't get that. You don't get that luxury. I won't allow it."

Blaine, for the first time since he stepped into Rachel and Kurt's Bushwick apartment, showed some emotion by biting his lip. "Okay," he said, very quietly, "What...what do you want Kurt."

Kurt moved to the windowsill and sat. He brought his head to his knees. Frustration was taking over now. He wasn't sure what he wanted, at least not what he wanted from Blaine. "I don't know," he admitted. He looked up from his knees and over in Blaine's direction. "You just," he started, "You just gotta stop this, Blaine."

"Stop what?" asked Blaine,almost sternly.

"You," said Kurt, "This egotistic personality. This stand-offish guy." Kurt pointed towards Blaine. "I know it's an act. I can feel it."

Blain widened his mouth and turned his head to face away from Kurt. "How could you possible know a thing about me," he said, with a laugh in his voice, "You don't even know me." He clasped his hands together and leaned down on his knees.

"I know," said Kurt, "But you aren't really giving me much to base my opinion of you off of. I mean all I get is this arrogant asshole who keeps hitting on me in the worst kind of ways."

"You're flattered," said Blaine, looking up, "Don't even pretend you're not."

Kurt furrowed his brow and shot Blaine a look. "So what if I am, Blaine," he said, stern "It's just the way you deliver it. You're such an asshole."

Blaine let his head fall between his knees and then shot himself back up so that he now stood with his hands in his pockets. "But isn't this what you were attracted to last year?" he asked, almost coyly.

Kurt almost smiled, but didn't fully let himself. "Yeah," he said, very quietly. He moved to the kitchen. Blaine followed him. Kurt grabbed the water pitcher from the fridge. He picked out two tall glasses from the cupboard and poured the water into them. He handed one to Blaine. "Here," he said, "Sit."

Blaine did what he was told. "Yes sir," he almost mocked.

Kurt sat and took a sip. "Blaine. Rachel wants you to be our roommate. So there is your one vote," he looked into Blaine's eyes as he spoke.

Blaine nodded, "Good."

"And I cannot believe I am saying this, but you have my vote too," Kurt set his glass back down on the table.

Blaine pulled his fist and smiled. "Yeah," he celebrated.

"But," said Kurt, ready to explain his decision, "I have some rules."

Blaine rolled his eyes. Reluctant, he looked at Kurt. "Okay....." he said wondering what was coming.

Kurt readjusted himself in his seat and straightened his back up. "Okay," he said, "First rule. You have to stop hitting on me so much".

"I said it before and I'll say it again. You like it," Blaine said, beaming.

Kurt half-smiled. This was true. Blaine flattered him in a way that shouldn't be so hot, but to Kurt it really was. Blaine wasn't going to get the satisfaction of knowing that though. "No I don't," he said to Blaine, pouting, "So you have to stop, or at least tone it down."

"I can't stop," said Blaine, cocking his head to the left, "But I will promise to try and tone it down."

Kurt pursed his lips. "Okay...." said Kurt, propping his head up with his wrist, "Good."

Blaine smiled to himself and swished his drink around before looking back up to Kurt. "Anything else?" he asked.

"Yes," said Kurt nodding once again, "My next kind of rule is that you have to respect Rachel and mine's boundaries. Rachel and I are very different people. Please respect our ways of life, and don't throw your way of life onto ours. Basically, don't try to ruin this good thing that we have going here."

"Of course I'll respect that, Kurt," said Blaine, narrowing is eyes, "I'm not some kind of monster whose arrogance is all he has."

"Really?" asked Kurt, cocking his head to the side, "Because honestly, that's what I am getting from you."

Blaine rolled his eyes. "I'm not...That's not me," he said, putting a hand in the air, "I'm just," He put his hand to his forehead. "Yeah, whatever. I'll respect your boundaries Kurt, no problem."

Kurt was a little puzzled with Blaine's frustration, but didn't question it. At this point, all he wanted was a roommate that could pay the bills. "Good," said Kurt after a long moment. The silence in the air was so full of tension and awkwardness. Kurt began to drum his fingers on the table and took another sip from his glass.

Blaine, sensing the tension, spoke up. "So," she said, "If that's it...." His voice trailed off as he took another drink as well.

Kurt nodded as he swallowed his water. "Yeah..." he said, "Yeah... I uh...I'll talk to Rachel and I'll....we'll get back to you...for sure." He mentally slapped himself for tripping over his words.

Blaine almost giggled when Kurt was talking. "Okay," he said with a chuckle in his voice and his eyes squinted, "You do that." He placed his glass back onto the table and leaned off of the stool he was sitting on to stand up.

Kurt stood up with Blaine, and scratched his head when he was fully up. He took both of their glasses and put them in the sink, grabbing a dishtowel.

Blaine stopped his walk towards the door when he heard the clinking of glasses in the stink. He spun himself around to face the taller boy at the counter and half grinned. "What?" he asked, arms fanned out, "Not going to walk me out."

Kurt rolled his eyes and didn't move his stance. "Aren't you a big boy now Blaine?" Kurt asked sarcastically as she washed off one of the glasses and placed it on the drying rack.

Blaine laughed as he placed his hands behind his back and glanced down to the ground. He smiled down at it for a second before turning around heading back towards the door. "Fine," he said, wiggling a bit as he walked, "I'll be seeing you, roomie." Blaine grabbed the door handle and opened it slowly, turning once to check Kurt out one more time before he exited the apartment.

Once the door was closed Kurt let out a big breath. He ran his fingers through his hair shakily. Damn, it was hard to keep his cool around Blaine. But, he had to be composed around him; Blaine sensed weakness and would pounce at a single essence of it.

Running across the room, Kurt dug his phone out of his pocket and pressed '8', Rachel's number on his speed dial. He held the phone up to his ear frantically as he looked out the peephole to make sure that Blaine was really gone. "Come on bitch, pick up!" Kurt pleaded into the speaker of his phone. Once Rachel picked up, Kurt didn't even give her a chance to say anything. "Rachel! First of all I hate your guts so much for leaving me here alone with that asshole. Secondly, that asshole is now our roommate so I hope you are happy! Rachel....Rachel.... Why are you laughing?.....I hate you so much, do you know that? Yeah...Yeah.....No I'm okay...You owe me a Pumpkin Spice Latte, I'm expecting one when you return.....Whatever....Whatever... Okay...Love you too..Okay.....Bye. "

Now leaned sitting against the doorframe, Kurt looked around his quiet, empty apartment. "Fuuuuuuuuucccccckkkkkkkk," he let out, exhausted from the day's events. He didn't know what just happened, or exactly what his feelings toward the whole ordeal were. All Kurt new was that life was going to be a little more interesting.
