Author's Notes: First chapter without The Lima Bean! Where will it be!!!
It was only 3 days until Blaine ran into Kurt again. Except for the first time it wasn’t at The Lima Bean. It was at his school.

Blaine was walking down the huge staircase of Dalton Academy at the end of the day, heading for his locker where he would usually wait to walk with Sebastian to Warbler practice. But then he spotted someone leaning against an archway who was so obviously not in Dalton Academy uniform. From the back he almost looked like-

“Kurt?” Blaine said approaching the boy, who most definitely was Kurt.

“Blaine. Wow, you’re the last person I thought I’d see here.”

“You don’t recognize the uniforms?”

“You’re right. How could I forget them.”

“Yeah... they’re pretty...”

“Dapper?”

“Dapper! That is the perfect word.”

“I’m surprised you’re actually wearing yours.” Kurt said, his lips curled into a snarky grin.

“What do you mean?”

“Don’t you have someone to be waiting at home naked for?”

Blaine almost asked what the hell Kurt was talking about until he remembered Sebastian’s phone call from the other day.

“Oh GOD no. Just... no.” That made Kurt laugh. Blaine was relieved. “But seriously, what are you doing here?”

“Just... checking it out. It’s pretty nice.”

“Checking it out for what?”

“That’s a conversation for another day.”

“So..” Blaine hesitated to say it, but then figured he had nothing to lose, “You don’t hate me?”

“Hate you? Why would I Baby?” It threw Blaine off when Kurt called him Baby, but then again that had been the first thing that Blaine had called Kurt. Their friendship, if that’s what it was, was founded on a very strange encounter.

“I don’t know, I just thought after Sebastian-”

“Oh, don’t worry about him. I know the type. I’d guess daddy issues, but with the God-Complex he seems to be sporting... I’m going to guess it’s a whole lot deeper than that.”

Blane was speechless. First because of Kurt’s bold statement about Sebastian, and second because he was spot on. A huge part of the reason that Blaine let so much of Sebastian’s attitude slide was because he knew how difficult his family situation was- he knew from experience.

“Hey, I gotta go but it was nice seeing you.” And then he hugged Blaine. Blaine didn’t even realize it had happened until he blinked and Kurt was no longer there but his arms were still extended. He could almost still feel Kurt's warm body holding tightly onto his, as if it was a dream. He didn't know how long he was standing there, he was only broken from his trance when a hand grabbed his ass.

“The fuck you doing, babe?” Sebastian spun Blaine around and kissed him. Blaine felt completely out of control with his life in that moment.

“N- nothing.” Blaine looked back in the direction that Kurt had been.

“Well come on lets go. If we get there early we can be the first to propose the song for our duet!”

“Who says we’re going to get the duet?”

“You kidding me? You’re Blaine Anderson. And I’m sexy as hell. We’re getting that duet for sectionals.”

Blaine smiled at his boyfriend. Kurt had reminded him why he didn’t think he could ever leave Sebastian. Even if Sebastian didn’t know it, he needed Blaine.

End Notes: I am having way too much fun writing this. It's coming at such a rapid speed, I apologize. The chapters might get a bit longer from here on out. Not sure.
