Author's Notes: Author's Chapter Notes: Sorry this took so long! Real life got in the way, as always. This is more of a filler chapter, but I promise the good stuff is coming up! The boys will be singing Beatles songs in the next chapter. Please review and tell me what songs you want them to sing!
"So what did you guys think?" Burt asked as soon as they walked in the door.

"I like him," Kurt said. Blaine nodded in agreement.

"I thought you would," Burt told him, turning his attention back to the television. "Blaine, you staying for dinner?"

"No, sir," Blaine said. "My parents are coming home tonight and they want me to be there."

"Bet you'll be glad to see them," Burt replied. Blaine shrugged noncommittally. Kurt, sensing his boyfriend's discomfort, jumped in. "He can't stay too long, so we're just gonna head upstairs."

Burt waved them away, focused on the game that was playing. The boys walked upstairs and into Kurt's room, where Kurt promptly flopped down on the bed, Blaine sitting next to him.

"I'm so tired," Kurt complained.

"Oh, really?" Blaine said with mock disappointment. "I guess I'll go ahead and leave, then. I don't want to exhaust you."

He tried to get up but was stopped when Kurt grabbed his arm.

"No!" he whined, pulling on Blaine's arm. "Don't leave yet!"

Blaine, surprised by his boyfriend's strength, toppled back on the bed, coming face to face with Kurt.

"Hi," he whispered.

"Hello," Kurt giggled. Blaine leaned closer, kissing Kurt softly. He could feel Kurt smile before he deepened the kiss, tongue running over Blaine's bottom lip, begging for entrance. Blaine happily complied, groaning as Kurt gently ran his tongue around Blaine's. After a few moments, Blaine pulled back.

"I really should go," he said regretfully. Kurt sighed, but sat up.

"I'll walk you out," he offered. The two walked back downstairs, where Blaine said goodbye to Burt before they headed outside. Kurt pulled his boyfriend into a tight hug before letting him get into the car.

"I'll see you tomorrow," Blaine promised.

When Blaine pulled into his driveway, the house was still dark. His parents still weren't home. He walked into his house, making a beeline to his room. For the next few hours, he worked on his homework, ears straining the entire time for the sound of his parent's arrival. Finally, Blaine went downstairs to make himself a sandwich, which he ate in the kitchen. He washed the dishes he had used before returning to his room, where he pulled on his pajamas. In an attempt to stay awake, he pulled out one of his favorite books, the first Harry Potter. It grew later and later and, try as he might, Blaine could no longer keep his eyes open. Eventually, he fell asleep, all alone in a house built for many.
