The next morning, Kurt woke up before anyone else in his family. He went downstairs, still in his pajamas, and began making coffee and breakfast for everbody. Thirty minutes later, the smell of pancakes and turkey bacon had lured the rest of the family to the kitchen.

All was quiet while the family began to pile food on their plates. Eventually, Burt looked up from pouring syrup on his pancakes.

"What does everybody have planned today?" he asked. Finn mumbled something about going to Rachel's house.

"I'm going over to my friend Blaine's house," Kurt announced. Everybody looked at him.

"Blaine? Who's Blaine?" Burt asked.

"You mean the new kid at school?" Finn asked at the same time.

Kurt looked at his father. "He's new at out school. He's nice."

Kurt knew he couldnt tell them that Blaine was gay with Finn there. Finn couldn't keep anything from Rachel and Rachel would be sure to tell everyone at school.

"Where does this kid live?" Burt was slipping into interrogative dad mode.

"In Millers Crossing," Kurt told him. Burt had been ready to fire off another question but this made him pause. Kurt could tell he was impressed.

"Well, ok. But keep me posted on what's going on, ok?" Burt said.

Kurt agreed and went upstairs, leaving the rest of his family to do the dishes. He worked on his homework, getting as much done as possible so that he wouldn't have to worry about it the next day. At 10:30, he got up and began getting ready. He spent some extra time in the shower, the hot water relaxing his muscles. The bruise he'd gotten yesterday had gotten darker and now covered several ribs. Kurt pushed it out of his mind, refusing to let the memories of yesterday ruin his mood today. He moisturized his face and went to stand in front of his closet, unsure of what to wear. Eventually, he pulled on a pair of dark wash jeans with a long sleeved white shirt and a black vest. After going back into the bathroom to fix his hair- which admittedly took some time- he was ready.

He double checked himself in the mirror and, pleased with the result, walked downstairs. After calling goodbye to his father and Carole, he left the house. The drive to Millers Crossing went by quickly and Blaine's house was easy to find. As he pulled into the driveway, Kurt admired the house. It was a colonial style with red brick and white pillars. It was huge. He got out of the car and knocked on the front door at 12 sharp.

Blaine opened the door, grinning brightly when he saw Kurt. He opened the door widely and stepped back to allow Kurt entrance.

"Come on in," he said. Kurt walked in, admiring the high staircase- there were three floors?- and the polished decor. Blaine led Kurt to the kitchen where they playfully argued over what kind of pizza to order. Eventually, they decided on plain cheese. Blaine called a local delivery place and reported that it would be there soon. When he hung u, Kurt was looking at him expectantly.

"So where is this infamous Disney movie collection I've heard so much about?" he asked.

Blaine smiled. "It's up in the gameroom," he said. "Wanna head on up there?"

Kurt nodded and followed blaine up to the third floor. He gasped when he saw the gameroom. It was huge, taking up the entire third floor. A giant TV took up one wall, cabinets flanking its sides. There were comfy looking couches set around the TV. A pool table was set in the middle of the room, pool cues on a rack behind it. At the other end was a home bar. Kurt was awed. By the time Kurt had finished taking it all in, Blaine was already kneeling next to the TV, pulling DVDs out of one of the cabinets.

"Blaine...This is kind of amazing," Kurt said. Blaine looked up and shrugged his shoulders.

"It's ok," he said. "What do you want to watch?"

Kurt looked at the movies Blaine had pulled out. He hadn't been kidding, he really did have a huge collection. As soon as Kurt sat down to get a closer look, the doorbell rang. Blaine told him that he would get it and ran downstairs. Kurt continued to look through the movies, finally settling on Aladdin. Blaine returned soon after, carrying their pizza. He set it down on the couch and began walking towards the bar.

"Can I get you something to drink?" he asked.

"Diet coke?" Kurt asked.

"Coming right up," Blaine told him. He pulled out two cans of diet coke and two plates from somewhere in the bar. He walked back and handed one of each to Kurt.

"What did you pick?" Blaine asked. Kurt held up Aladdin and Blaine smiled.

"Good choice," he said. While Blaine put the movie in, Kurt opened the pizza box and inhaled the smell of cheese and sauce and steam. He took a slice and began eating.

Two hours later, the pizza was gone and the boys had moved through Aladdin and on to the Lion King. They were having a great time singing along and giggling at each other. At one point, Blaine left the room and came back with a big bowl of popcorn.

"Blaine!" Kurt groaned when he saw it. "You are killing my hips."

"Please." Blaine said, rolling his eyes. "Your hips are killing me."

Kurt relented and the popcorn was quickly eaten. After the Little Mermaid, Kurt knew he needed to go home. Blaine walked him out and watched as he pulled out of the driveway. When he got home, Kurt went straight to his room, reveling in the happiness he felt. He was quiet at dinner, only telling Burt that his day had been "fine". Before going to sleep that night, Kurt checked his phone one last time. He found a text from Blaine waiting for him that read simply "See you Monday"
