So, what do you think? Do you like the story so far? Thanks for reding. Please review for me? Thank you.
Kurt didnt sleep for long, and the lengths that he did sleep for were ragged and plagued with Blaines face. He spent more time wondering what Blaine was doing, how he felt, what he was thinking, if maybe Blaine was thinking of him, then actually sleeping. This one private wouldnt get out of Kurts head. He felt he needed Blaine. He couldnt go and check on him though, hed be asleep, right? Kurt just wanted the feel of Blaines hand against his own, of Blaines honey eyes on him, of Blaines lips on his.
Blaine tossed and turned, before he finally got up, not being able to sleep, even though he knew it was going to be an early morning, so he finally snuck out, careful not to disturb the others, before deciding to go for a jog around course, hoping it would wear him out enough to actually sleep, even for just a couple hours, groaning when he saw his watch said it was already 03:00 hours.
Kurt finally decided sleep wasnt an option around 4:00. His early morning jog with his squadron would hopefully help him get his mind off of Blaine, but for now he settled with a slow walk around the grounds. Still only in track pants, the early morning warm breeze helped him wake up, making him more alert for the day ahead.
Blaine was surprised when he saw a figure ahead walking, but he just did his best to keep to himself and continue his jog, surprised when he got close enough to make out the figure was Kurt, groaning internally as he slowed his pace, wondering if he would be able to sneak off before Kurt saw him so he wouldnt be even more humiliated
Out of the corner of his ear Kurt could hear footsteps, slowing as they got closer. He turned on his toes only to see Blaine, the guy he hadnt stopped thinking about. Silently he cursed himself for turning Blaine down last night. Taking a deep breath he said, "morning Blaine. What are you doing up so early?" Trying his hardest to keep his hands off of Blaine.
Blaine swallowed and ran his hand through his slightly sweat dampened and now loose curls. "I couldnt sleep, so I thought Id go for a run to wear myself out enough to get a couple of hours in at least." He said stretching a bit to keep his muscles from stiffening, pulling his shirt up a bit to wipe his face off, a bit of his toned abs peeking out from under the bottom
Kurt bit his lip slightly. "Has it helped?" He asked, voice slightly higher than before. His slightly too big sweat pants hung off of his hips lower than they probably should have but he wanted to tease Blaine.
He shrugged a bit. "Some I suppose. I just have a lot on my mind." He said, his eyes unconsciously raking over his body a bit. "What are you doing up?"
"Cant sleep. And theres no point trying when I have to start in under two hours." He groaned. The wind gust over lightly pushing his hair back, the morning sun shone down on his slightly tanned skin, only helping each of his toned muscles to be seen.
Blaine breathed in sharply, his curls slightly getting rustled by the breeze, moving closer to Kurt, his fingers inching to reach out and feel those muscles. "Yeah I suppose not." He said, cursing the way his voice sounded breathless. "Well I should probably head back. Dont want to get in trouble the first day."
Slightly saddened that Blaine didnt want to spend more time with him, Kurt nodded. "Oh um.. Yeah. If you need me Ill be in my quarters the other side of my office. Ill see you for in a bit..." He reached out and placed a hand on Blaines shoulder before walking the other way, letting his hand linger as long as it could.
Blaine gently reached out, grabbing his hand, feeling Kurts sadness and, bit his lip. "To be honest I am feeling a bit lonely." He said softly. "But after earlier..I didnt..want to bother you." He said softly, looking down at their joined hands.
Kurt looked at their interlocking hands. "Do you want to come and talk for a bit?" He asked hopefully, eyes wide and glistening with want
Blaises eyes sparkled a bit as he met Kurts eyes, licking over his dry lips. "Id love too." He whispered, his fingers trembling just slightly against Kurts, his own eyes hopeful.
Kurt smiled, finally getting a chance to talk with Blaine, completely alone. "Okay well, my office? Or my quarters?" His fingers interlaced with Blaines, forgetting and not caring about how unprofessional this behaviour is. All he wanted in that moment was to kiss Blaines soft smooth olive skin and never let go of his hand.
Blaine looked surprised at his offer. "Well...if its alright...your quarters? I need to freshen up a bit." He said with a soft blush, unable to hide his smile, heart soaring that Kurt was letting him in.
Kurt tried not to squeal. Blaine was so perfect and innocent looking, just the prospect of having Blaine in his quarters was exciting. "Sure. Id love that." He internally slapped himself. Did he sound needy? He didnt want to sound needy, but he didnt want to reject Blaine.
