Blaine.
"So class, your assignment for tonight is on the board, its due tomorrow AS SOON as you enter the class, no exceptions, Wesley..." The older man said sternly, the class of boys broke into laughter. Various "ohhh's" and points being shot at the embarrassed Wes. Blaine cheered with them as the bell rang, signaling the end of class. They all pounced at the sound, and started pummeling out the door, Blaine packed up his things slowly and started after them, flinging his satchel over his shoulder.
"Ahh Mr.Anderson, may I have a moment alone with you before you leave?" Blaine heard his teacher say.
"Uhh... yeah sure Mr. Johnson! Whaddya need?" he asked, turning around to face the man.
"Well Blaine, I just wanted to say I've been really impressed with you this year. You're an excellent student and you shine during Warblers performances." Blaine blushed.
"Well, I'm just so lucky that you let me in it! I know how rare it is for you to allow juniors to join the group and I cant begin to tell you how much it means to me!" Blaine rushed. He still didn't even know WHY Mr. Johnson had let him in. Every fall 100's of Dalton boys tried out to be in the school's rock star show choir, and with the small number of spots available, it was mostly made up of seniors. Blaine was the first junior to make it in over 10 years. It still confused him to this day.
Mr. Johnson chuckled, "Well Blaine I'm glad your enjoying yourself. As you know, sectionals are only a week away." he said, eyeing Blaine, who merely nodded. "I want to do something alittle different this time, something alittle more upbeat, alittle more pop.. I was thinking about teenage dream by Katy perry. What are your thoughts?"
Blaine almost screamed, his smile wide with excitement, "oh sir! I think- wow! I think that's an excellent idea! Beyond excellent! And great song choice!"
Mr.Johnson tried his hardest to fight back a smile, "well, as you know, the song is a solo. So we'd need a strong voice to take the lead.." he said, looking at Blaine, who was staring at the wall, a deep look on his face, as he racked his brain to come up with the perfect guy for the part, "we'll need someone talented enough to make the song their own-," Blaine started mumbling names quietly, "someone charismatic enough to charm the judges-," Blaine rubbed his face, thinking harder,"-and someone strong enough to lead us to a win-," Blaine's eyebrows twisted together as he continued to think, his mind going a mile a minute. He was so lost in thought he almost didn't hear what the man said next,"-and Iwas hoping, that that boy would be you, Blaine."
Suddenly, Blaine's face dropped. He turned his head quickly to look at his choir teacher, his eyes shot open wide and he tried to catch his breath,
"wh-what?!"
