He did it.
He fucking did it.
Just like Sam said.'You need to wait for him,' Sam said. 'Wait for him?' Blaine asked. 'Yes, he's been eyefucking all day when he was here! you didn't see it?' 'N-No, I didn't.' 'Just wait. Maybe he will make the first move,' Sam said, 'And if he does, kiss him.' 'Why is that?' Blaine askes, 'Why me?' 'That's what they do in all those romantic movies,' Sam answered. 'Sam!' Blaine sighed, 'I'm serious. I can't just kiss him.' 'I am serious!' 'But I just- he is me, sorta. In another life. I can't just-' 'Do you really see Kurt as Blaine?' 'What?' "Or do you see Kurt as Kurt?' "Kurt as Kurt of course-' 'See?Switched or not, he's not you. so kiss him, will you?'
Blaine phone rings and Kurt pulls away. 'Is that yours?' he asks. Blaine nods. Why would someone call on a moment like this? Who the hell is cruel enough to do that?
Sam.
'Blaine?' 'Sam? Wait, I put you on speakerphone.' 'Where are you dude? Your dad already called and- why speakerphone?' 'Because-' 'Don't tell me you're still at Dalton.' Blaine doesn't response. 'Blaine? Please don't. I mean, you can't-' 'Hi Sam!' Kurt shouts. 'Are you fucking kidding me?' Sam says.
'No, we're not,' Sam says, 'But what's up?' 'What's up? WHAT'S UP? I'LL TELL YA WHAT'S UP!Your dad called me, asking when you came home. I used my best impression of you to answer that one, and now he thinks you're drunk.' 'You two care to elaborate?' Kurt asks. 'I-I asked Sam to lie for me.' 'You better get your butt over here!' Sam shouts, 'Why are you still at Dalton?'
'It was horrible, so I left and went to Kurt,' Blaine answers, talking really fast, 'and when I wanted to go home, I saw my bio-parents standing there, so we ran to Kurt's room and-' Blaine stops just in time. 'And?' Sam asks, sounding curious. 'We're hiding,' Kurt answers. 'Kurt, why don't you go looking if your parents are still there and come back, telling Blaine what to do?'
----------------------------------------------------------
Kurt's been gone for ten minutes. 'Still not back?' Sam asks. 'Uh-uh.' 'Damn. what to do?' Then suddenly the door opens and Trent enters the room.
'Blaine, hi, still here?' Blaine nods and asks, 'Have you seen Kurt?' Trent shakes his head. 'Why?' he asks and Blaine explains everything. '...and Sam is now here, on the phone.' 'Hi Warbler boy!' Sam shouts from the other side of the line. 'Hi, I'm Trent,' Trent says, 'Kurt's roommate.' 'Trent, boy,' Sam says, 'You know anything 'bout Blaine's bio-parents?' 'Bio-parents?' Trent mouths to Blaine. 'I'll explain later,' Blaine mouths back. 'Uh, well... no,' Trent says. 'No?!?' Sam and Blaine ask. 'When Kurt came here, I was new too. We met and talked a lot. He said he loves them, but often feels lempty.'
'Lempty?' Sam asks. 'Loneliness and emptiness together is lemptiness,' Trent explains, 'I told him I got how he feels, but after all this, I'm not sure anymore.' 'I get it,' Blaine says, 'I felt lonely too. Sometimes, out of nowhere.' 'So you felt lempty,' Trent says, 'He also said that things became akward after he came out. He said he got a brother. He loved him and didn't want to loose him like his parents. Cooper turned out being really awesome and okay with it. And accepting.'
'And he still is.' The three boys shock. Kurt is standing in the doorway. 'Kurt!' Trent says, 'How long have you been standing there?' 'Long enough to get it,' Kurt answers and gets in, 'Sam still here?' 'Yup!' Sam shouts, 'Where have you been? Found Blaine bio-parents?' 'Bio-parents?' Kurt asks, 'And you're telling me not to call them my not-parents?' 'Rachel, a girl in my glee club,' he explains for Trent, 'was really confused so I said that Burt is my dad and Devon my bio-dad. Just to make it easier for her. But I call him dad, outside school.'
'But yeah, what Sam said. Where have you been?' 'My not-parents, don't judge, were still there and saw me. They asked me if I had seen Blaine and I said no. And then my not-dad became really angry and told me if I knew, but didn't tell them, I would have a problem,' Kurt answers, 'My not-mom interrupted and told me some good news.' Blaine just can't believe that Kurt can act so normal. Blaine feels like he's going to explode. 'What's the good news?' Trent asks. 'Okay... wait for it.Give me a beat, Sam!' 'Actually, Finn is the one who-' 'Just do it, Sam!' Blaine says. 'Okay, geez! I will,' Sam hisses.
'Cooper is coming home!'
'That's amazing!' Trent says. 'Cooper the brother?' Sam asks, 'So, also Blaine's brother?' 'Yup.' 'I forgot I had a brother,' Blaine says, 'Does he know?' 'About the switch?' Kurt asks. 'About the switch,' Blaine repeats him. 'Hm.... Actually, I dunno,' Kurt says, 'O my god, I dunno! What if my not-parents didn't tell him? What if?'
'I don't wanna interrupt this family moment, but I don't have enough credit to continue this phone call. Are Blaine's bio-parents still there or not?' Sam says. 'Oh yeah, that. They left,' Kurt says shortly and Sam screams 'GAAAH!'
'Kurt, before I go, can I talk to you?' Blaine asks after Sam hung up. 'Sure,' Kurt says. 'I go, I go!' Trent says and runs out of the room.
'You wanted to talk?' Kurt says. 'Yes,' Blaine answers, 'What are we now?' 'What you mean?' Kurt asks. 'We-we kissed...' 'Yeah, about that,' Kurt says. Please, don't tell me it was nothing. 'It-it was nice.' GOD BLESS! 'Yeah, it was.' 'You think it's okay for us,' Kurt starts, 't-to date? You know, as boyfriends?' 'I think so. why not?' Blaine says. 'Because I'm you,' Kurt says, 'I'm you and you're me and-' 'Stop!' Blaine cuts him off, 'Just stop.' 'What?' 'We're not,' Blaine says, 'We're not each other. Maybe in another life, or something idiot like that, but we have this life now. And in this life, we aren't.'
'So, is that a yes?' '100% yes.' 'So, you have nothing against... this?' Kurt says and leans forward to kiss Blaine.
----------------------------------------------------------
Blaine didn't talk to his not-parents till the week before Thanksgiving. He did speak to Kurt, tho, cause he got his number and Skype.'
'Blaine?' Burt comes in. 'Hi! Dad!' Blaine says. 'Hey dad!' Kurt says from the computer screen. 'Hey kid! Haven't seen you in a while.' 'Yeah, damn that distance.' 'I didn't know you had Skype. Nice,' Burt says, 'But Blainers, your parents on the phone for you.'
Blaine puts it on speakerphone and Burt leaves the room. 'Hello, hello?' Blaine says. 'Blaine!' Celia says, 'Oh you are okay. What happened that day? Where did you go?' 'Mom, it happened like three months ago. Just tell me why you called.' Blaine rolls his eyes and Kurt laughs. 'Is that Kurt?' Devon asks. 'Nope,' Blaine lies, 'Go on.' 'Your brother is in town this Thanksgiving weekend,' Devon says. 'Finn?' Blaine says to piss him off. 'No, Cooper,' Devon says annoyed. It worked. 'We already talked to Burt-' 'My dad,' Blaine says, to annoy them even more. 'Yeah, him. Anyway, we want you to meet him. You andyour dad,' Celia says, 'And maybe you two can stay in the guesthouse for Thanksgiving.Your dadalready said yes.' 'Then I guess it's already decided,' Blaine says, 'Thanks for this pretty useless call. Bye.' Blaine hangs up.
