'Dad!' Kurt and Blaine both scream. Burt covers his eyes. 'Get off,' Kurt whispers to Blaine.
'W-we-we were watching a movie,' Blaine stutters. 'I see,' Burt says. 'How can you see anything when you cover your eyes?' Kurt asks innocently. 'Just... explain to me what I think I just saw,' Burt says, still covering his eyes. 'What do you think you just saw?' Blaine asks to be sure. 'My sons,' Burt starts, 'Lying on a bed. Kissing.'Fuck.
'We can explain!' Kurt says. 'Yes, please,' Burt murmurs. 'And stop covering your eyes,' Blaine says, 'It's okay. You can look.' 'Are you still on him?' Burt asks. 'What, dad? No!' 'Oh, okay,' Burt says and he crosses his arms. 'I thought you and Carole-' 'Carole felt sick,' Burt interrupts Kurt, 'She nearly threw up. But what the hell were you two doing?'
They both say nothing. 'Well?' Burt asks. 'We, eh, we sorta have been dating since Blaine visited me at Dalton,' Kurt admits. 'You were at Dalton?' Burt asks Blaine. 'I- remember when I was gaming at Sam's?' Burt nods. 'I wasn't. I was at Dalton.' 'My not-parents set up a tour and it ended horrible,' Kurt adds.
'Please don't tell my dad,' Blaine begs, 'And my mom. They're asshats. They don't even know I'm gay and I'm not going to tell them.' 'Why not?' Burt asks. 'They like me,' Blaine says, 'And I don't want to hurt them.' 'By pretending to be someone else?' Burt asks.
'So, let me set this straight... or gay.' 'Dad!' they both shout. 'Kidding, just kidding. So my sons are dating each other. And I guess I'm okay with that.' 'Really?' Kurt facelitsup. 'Really. I don't like you two lied to me and I don't like Blaine is lying to Devon and Celia, but it's his own choice. So I won't tell them.'
'And now I'm going downstairs, to tell Carole, who will probably laugh, and you two can continue watching your movie or whatever you two were doing. But the door stays open from now. You two matter.'
They heard Carole laughing.
