The gardens are huge. It took Blaine ten minutes to find Cooper, sitting on a bench, near by the fountain. They have their own fountain!
'Hi,' Blaine just says. Cooper looks up. 'Hi, little bro,' he says. Blaine sits down next to him. 'Just wondering, are you mad at me?' Blaine asks. 'Why would I?' Cooper answers. 'You just left.' 'I had to take a break. But I'm not mad at you, or Kurt, or your dad, who isn't my dad but is Kurt's dad and this is really confusing.' 'Kurt's bio-dad.' 'Yes, him. Guess I'm not even mad at my parents. I just had to calm down.'
'So,brother,' Cooper says, 'Tell me about yourself.' 'Eh, I'm Blaine. I like to sing and play instruments. Also like sports. Addicted to chocolate -don't tell my dad, but I ate all his chocolate too- and in love with bowties. My mom, Kurt's bio-mom, died when I was eight-' 'No.' 'Yes.' 'But that's awful,' Cooper says shocked, 'Kurt will never know his mom.' Blaine shakes his head. 'No, we won't,' he says, 'But my dad is dating someone, and it's pretty serious.'
'Ah, I see,' Cooper says, 'You have a girlfriend too?' Blaine laughs. 'What?' Cooper asks. 'No, I don't,' Blaine answers. 'Why not? You are very good-looking.' 'Your mom said that too, but...' Blaine thinks about what Kurt said.He can tell Cooper. He really can. '... she doesn't know I'm not into girls. I prefer guys.'
'So you're gay?' Cooper asks, 'Like Kurt.' 'Yup I am 100% perfect gold star gay. Rachel Berry tested.' 'What?' 'Long story.' 'You can tell me,' Cooper says, so Blaine does. 'Well...' Cooper says when Blaine finishes. 'I'm crazy when I'm drunk.' 'I heard. Does your dad, not mine, know that you're not into girls?' 'He is aware, yes.' 'Does Kurt know?' 'Yes he knows.' Blaine tries not to laugh becausehell yeah he does. 'Do my parents know?' 'Nope.' 'No?' 'Looks like I'm their "perfect son" and I don't want to hurt them.' 'By hiding who you really are?' Cooper asks.
'Please, don't tell them,' Blaine begs, 'Please.' 'Woah, need not to worry. I won't.' 'Really?' Kurt was right. Cooper is awesome. 'Promise?' 'Promise.'

'Cooper!' Celia says when they come in. 'Mom, no. Don't. Touch. Me.' Celia looks sad. 'How on earth did you guys think this was a good idea?' Cooper says harsh. 'W-we just thought,' Celia trembles, 'We're really sorry.' Blaine just stands there. Listening. 'How was it?' he hears and turns around. 'You were right about Cooper, Kurt,' Blaine smiles, 'I even told him my secret, and he didn't judge.' 'You told him? About us?' Kurt looks worried. 'Oh, no, no, baby, no. Just about me, being perfect gold star gay,' Blaine whispers, 'Not about us.'

'I am thankful for having two boys now,' Burt says that evening, at the Thanksgiving dinner, 'And if you count Cooper, three, and with Finn, four.'
'I am thankful for my family,' Cooper says, 'And my face.'
'I am thankful for Blaine,' Celia says.
'Me too,' Kurt says.
'Then I'm thankful for you,' Blaine says to Kurt, who smiles.
'I am thankful for this world,' Devon says, 'That gave me a life like this.'

'We're gonna miss you,' Burt says, three days later. He and Blaine are about to leave. 'Same,' Devon says, 'Sorry for the start.' 'But if we justerase that part, it was really fun,' Celia says. 'Cooper!' Blaine shouts, 'It was nice to meet you.' 'See ya, brother,' Cooper waves. 'And Kurt,' Burt says, 'Come here my son.' Burt hugs Kurt really long. 'Bye dad,' Kurt says.
'I'm gonna miss you the most,' Blaine says to Kurt, and Kurt smiles weakly. It kills Blaine that they can't kiss each other goodbye, so he hugs Kurt too. He holds him tightly. 'I don't want you to go,' Kurt says, nearly crying, 'The past three days were amazing.' He continues, whispering. 'Especiallythe moments alone.' 'I love you,' Blaine whispers in Kurt's ear. 'I love you too.' Kurt whispers back.
'It's a shame to break you two,' Burt says, 'You are such good friends,' 'Well...' Celia starts, 'You can stay.' 'What?' Blaine asks, still holding Kurt. 'You two can live in our guesthouse,' Celia suggests, 'I heard two families in Kansas did it, after they found out theirdaughters were switched too. The Kennishes and the Vasquez's.' 'But what about Blaine's school?' Burt asks, 'And my job?' 'And my friends?' Blaine asks, 'Carole?' 'Cece and I have been thinking about it,' Devon says, 'You don't have to pay rent, so you don't have to work for that. Blaine can attend Dalton and talk with his friends through social media.' 'And Carole?' Burt asks. 'She can move in too.'
'No.'
Blaine said it before Burt could say anything. 'Excuse me?' Devon says. 'You heard me. No. You already lost me at the "live in the guesthouse" part,' Blaine confesses. 'But that's unfair!' Celia screams, 'We're your parents too! We have the right to see you!' 'Yes you have, but I won't move in!' Blaine says. 'We barely see you, Blaine. When was the last time we saw you, before Thanksgiving? Three months ago?' 'I agree, it was a long time,' Blaine says, 'But trying to take me away from my life isn't going to work.'
