Author's Notes: A lot of dialogue in this one, sorry about that...I know I neglected quite a few characters but you will hear about them later, don't worry :)

Chapter 20

Who are that giant and Thumbelina with Kurt and Blaine? Tina thought looking at Mike.

The boy looked up and saw people towards whom Tina motioned with her head. In no time his face lit up.

“Guys, look, Finn and Rachel are back!” he shouted cheerfully and raced with Sugar who would be the first to greet the couple.

Tina frowned a little having expected a much better explanation. Apparently those two were quite popular because they were greeted with the same enthusiasm as Blaine, Mike, and Sugar were when they came back from their mission back in the end of June. It seemed so long ago…

“Is that–” Santana started but didn’t finish when people came to join their table.

She looked quickly at Kurt and Blaine waiting for a good explanation.

“Hi, Santana, it’s good to see you again,” Rachel chuckled.

“What’s going on here?” she asked.

“For those who don’t know, these are Rachel and Finn,” Blaine introduced them. “Finn was my supervisor.”

“He is also my brother,” Kurt added and everyone looked at him in disbelief.

Noah shook his head. “Bullshit. You don’t look like brothers.”

“Well, officially we are step-brothers,” Finn said as they all squeezed around the table. He looked at Noah with no expression on the face but the truth is, he tried to assess Noah’s behaviour.

“We didn’t know we were both in the C.A.T until this morning. It’s insane,” Kurt laughed silently.

“And they both were so dramatic… You should have heard them this morning when they met!” Jeff laughed and choked on bread.

“You are still as useless as you used to be, Jeffy,” Finn giggled. “Anyway, I see some unfamiliar faces. It would be polite to introduce us, don’t you think?”

Sugar nodded. “Finn, Rachel, this is Wes; I supervise him.” The three of them nodded their ‘hellos’.

“This is Tina,” Mike said wrapping his arm around the girl’s shoulders. “She is mine.”

Yours? Tina looked at the boy confused.

“I mean, Wes is Sugar’s, you are mine. I mean, professionally, as agents, you know,” Mike rushed to explain which made everyone who heard laugh.

“What was that?” Nick asked from the other side.

“Apparently, Tina belongs to Mike in some way,” Blaine told him.

“No, it’s not like that,” he explained but nobody listened to him. “Just because we are both Asians–”

Kurt rolled his eyes. “Yeah, sure, it’s really because you two are Asians… What other reason could we have to think you are together?”

We are not! Tina wanted to scream.

“We aren’t. That’s it. Now move on with introductions,” Mike frowned and continued eating, trying his best not to look at Tina.

Jeff looked like he wanted to add something but he was stopped by Mike’s furious gaze directed at him.

“I know this one!” Rachel shouted and pointed at Santana.

“Where are your manners, girl?” Sugar shouldered Rachel playfully.

“Exchanged with excitement. So, Finn, this is my friend Santana, I met her yesterday.”

“Wait a second, you are not my friend and you still owe me an explanation. Did I almost make out with Kurt for no reason?” she asked, her arms crossed over the chest.

Jeff made some sort of a noise and water he had in his mouth went straight on the table, some getting on Wes as well. “You did what?!” he asked.

Kurt blushed. “We didn’t do anything… I mean we almost kissed a few times maybe…”

“It was so adorable how Blaine didn’t let them do it! And it wasn’t even subtle, to be honest,” Rachel laughed.

“You wouldn’t have figured anything out is you hadn’t known everything,” Blaine defended himself. “And yeah, I couldn’t let my boyfriend kiss someone else.”

Everyone fell silent. Kurt gave him a strange look. “Blaine–”

“I mean, not when I can stop that. I know it’s going to happen; it a part of a job. But as long as I can prevent that, I will do it. You are mine.”

“Yours,” Kurt said softly and kissed him.

“Is it always like that?” Finn asked nobody in particular.

Noah shrugged. “You get used to it. It’s kind of hot.”

“It’s my brother you are talking about,” Finn raised one eyebrow.

“Who is a real hottie,” Sugar winked at Kurt.

“Stay away from him, witch,” Blaine giggled.

Jeff nodded, a wise expression on his face, which was completely ruined by a bit of ketchup on his nose. “It’s still sickening every time I see it.”

“Can I remind you your so called mission?” Kurt asked laughing.

“Mission?” Finn asked in confusion. “Since when do you go on missions, Jeff?”

“That’s a good question,” Nick looked up from his toast.

“The thing is, he doesn’t,” Sugar started to explain.

“So he decided to initiate one,” Mike continued.

“The aim was to get Blaine and Kurt together,” Noah told them.

“And we succeeded!” Jeff said with a triumphant grin.

“Not really…” Santana said. “In the end we found out they had been together for a while.”

“They were just hiding,” Sugar gave the boys an angry look.

“Why didn’t I know anything about it?” Wes frowned. He hadn’t been feeling like a part of the group for a while now.

Jeff looked at him apologetically. “The fewer people knew about it, the better… Noah was forced onto us by Tom.”

“Did Tom know about it?” Finn asked, obviously expecting a negative answer.

“No, he made me join them for their trip to London so Jeff decided I needed to know everything.”

“Was I the only one who didn’t know?” Wes asked.

Nick shook his head. “I didn’t either.”

“Sebastian and Sam didn’t know,” Mike added. “By the way, where are they?” he asked looking around.

“Probably playing in Sam’s room,” Blaine laughed. Everyone looked at him questioningly. “What? Haven’t you noticed? They are so obvious…”

Jeff shook his head. “They can’t be together. Sam is straight.”

“That he is. And they are not together. But I’m pretty sure Sam is helping Sebastian to get into the Purple Squad. I think he is expecting to do what Finn did – levelling up,” he finished and smiled at his former supervisor.

“You mean, you can change your squad in the future?” Santana asked, her plate already empty.

“That’s what I did,” Finn explained her. “I used to be in the Blue Squad. But then I got to supervise Blaine and after a year when they announced which squads the newbies got into, there was my name as well, stating that I got into the Purple Squad.”

“You were pretty awesome,” Blaine told him.

“You are saying that only because now that you are dating my brother, you need to be in my good books,” said stuffing himself with yet another pancake.

“Guilty,” Blaine lowered his head, faking embarrassment.

<~*~>

November passed as one day, in Kurt’s opinion. Now with Finn and his crazy girlfriend in the mix it was impossible to feel bored. It had never been an issue but now it was different. Finn always wanted to join Kurt for his classes or other activities. It was both adorable and irritating because Kurt and Blaine had less time for themselves. By the end of the second week the couple asked Finn not to come to their personal classes anymore unless he wanted to see them making out.

By the end of November they were all pleasantly surprised to find out that Mike and Tina decided to try to be together. It didn’t shock them because they all saw it coming but it was still strange. Mike kept going to Blaine for an advice while Tina kept texting Kurt. It was both adorable and irritating because they were not some love guru. In the end Blaine told Mike that it doesn’t matter if he wears a v-neck or crew-neck, Kurt told Tina that the colour of the pen that she was going to use to write a letter to Mike doesn’t matter, and they both told the new couple to just go with the flow and come to them only if they have some serious problems.

<~*~>

“It’s getting cold here,” Blaine said and went to turn the heater up. It was a late evening and he was watching Kurt sewing some jacket which looked a bit weird to him. But it must have been fashionable or whatever. And even though Kurt had bought some clothes to take with him home (he couldn’t go home with only black pants and white t-shirts), he wanted to have something original. Blaine knew that Kurt loved fashion and in some way being in the C.A.T. was killing him. “When I become a real agent, I will always wear the nicest clothes I can lay my fingers on,” Kurt joked every time anyone mentioned his passion that came back to him.

Kurt looked up. “No surprise, it’s December. Do you want me to make some cocoa? I know you like it,” he smirked. “Then we could snuggle and watch a movie. Preferably about Christmas. I’m tired of sewing and I can’t wait for Christmas so it would be perfect.”

Blaine laughed at him. “Well, I never watch movies about Christmas but if you bribe me with your cocoa, I will suffer through it.”

“Why don’t you watch them? They are so jolly and sweet,” Kurt said and went to the kitchen with Blaine behind him.

“I never really liked Christmas. I mean, I never had real ones anyway,” he shrugged as if it was no big deal.

Kurt took the ingredients and looked at Blaine shocked. “Wait, let me get this straight… you have never ever had Christmas?”

“Not really. So I don’t see the point in watching those movies,” he smiled but that smile didn’t fool Kurt.

“It’s decided then,” Kurt said, determination in his voice.

“What’s decided?”

“You are going to Ohio with me and Finn for Christmas.”

End Notes: Who is excited for Christmas?! :D x
