Author's Notes: Hey, guys, I'm back! I had a lovely trip with my friends. They left today and I couldn't help but write. It's quite a short chapter but I didn't want to keep you waiting longer.

Chapter 19

It was a strange scene for all of them – Kurt and Finn couldn’t believe what they were seeing while Blaine and Rachel were trying to put two and two together. It seemed that Blaine was doing a better job because something clicked in his head and he opened his mouth, shocked look on his face. Rachel was about to ask what was going on when Jeff came out of nowhere.

“Good morning, boys and girl!” he greeted them more cheerfully when ever, extremely huge grin on his face.

“You knew!” Finn growled finally looking away from his brother and facing the blonde guy.

Jeff quickly hid behind Blaine and laughed. “Don’t kill me!”

“What did Jeff know?” Rachel asked confused.

Finn shook his head. “Kurt…”

“Kurt?”

“Yes, Rachel, Kurt. As in my brother Kurt,” Finn explained.

Rachel looked between the brothers. “The Kurt?”

“Yes,” he said resting the head on the right hand. “My little brother who decided to play big boys’ games.”

That woke Kurt up out of his shock. “Whoa whoa whoa… Big boys’ games? Are you implying that I’m not good enough to be here?” he frowned as Blaine went closer and placed his hand on the lower back, trying to calm him down. “Go away, Blaine. Finn, answer. Aren’t I man enough to be a part of the C.A.T.? Or are you afraid that I will get into a low squad and then ruin your ‘purple’ reputation?”

Finn looked taken aback. “I’m not saying that. I want you to be safe; this place is not for you.”

“I’m pretty sure I can decide what is best for me. And hearing that from you… How many times has your life been in danger? How about me wanting you to be safe?”

“I’ve been doing this long enough. It’s different. I don’t want you here. You are going home either today or tomorrow.”

“Finn, relax,” Rachel tried to calm her boyfriend down but just as unsuccessfully as Blaine’s try with his. “Kurt is doing really well. I’m sure he will be a good agent one day.”

Everyone was already looking at them. It must have been an interesting scene, especially for people who knew them. Finn was fuming and Kurt looked as if he could kill him with his eyes. Rachel tried to calm Finn down but they looked like a dwarf fighting a giant as Finn totally ignored her. Blaine was holding Kurt’s wrist tightly just in case. And Jeff… well, he was just being Jeff.

“Finn, you do know that the ‘whites’ can’t quit until the end of May,” he said smiling. “So it doesn’t matter if you want it or not – Kurt is staying here for a bit longer.”

The boy laughed coldly. “Fuck the rules. Tom will have to make an exception.”

“Kurt is not going anywhere,” Blaine deadpanned and pulled Kurt closer.

Finn looked at him and his eyes widened in shock. “You two are dating! You two have been dating for three months…”

“Yes, we have,” Blaine nodded calmly.

“I worked really hard to get them together,” Jeff smirked.

Finn nodded to Blaine’s words thinking hard, ignoring Jeff. “Not anymore. I don’t want you anywhere close to my brother. You will only break his heart. I won’t let–”

“You have no right to tell me who to date, Finn,” Kurt grunted.

“Besides, Blaine is Kurt’s supervisor, he can’t stay away…” Jeff added.

“I’m your older brother; I’m the one who has to protect you!”

“You are not my brother! You are only my step-brother and you don’t have to do anything. If it wasn’t for our parents we wouldn’t even know each other.”

Finn’s face turned pale once he heard what Kurt had said. They all stood there, not being able to say anything. Even Jeff had no words left.

“I’m sorry, Finn, I didn’t mean it,” Kurt whispered.

“But that’s true,” he said silently and turned around to leave.

Kurt got out of Blaine’s grip and caught his brother’s arm. “Please, can we talk about it peacefully? I’m still not over the shock that my brother is here and I’m sure you aren’t either. Could we maybe go somewhere and talk? Please?”

The boy sighed and nodded. “I’m sorry for yelling,” he said.

“I wasn’t the friendliest either,” Kurt faked a laugh. “Let’s go to Blaine’s apartment, okay?”

Finn nodded and started going.

“I’ll see you later, guys,” Kurt said quickly and followed Finn.

The boys didn’t speak until they got into the apartment. They sat on the sofa and stared at each other for a minute.

“How?” Finn managed finally.

Kurt didn’t need to ask what he was asking about. “Remember when we skyped and I told you I had been fired? Well, afterwards I went out to get some fresh air. The next thing I knew was waking up here.”

Finn nodded slowly deep in his thoughts. “Why?”

“Are you seriously asking that? Isn’t that obvious?”

The other boy nodded again. “I don’t want you to get hurt.”

“I can’t promise, you know that. But I swear I will work hard to be as good as possible to decrease the chances of getting hurt.”

Finn smiled weakly. “I will help you.”

Finally Kurt gave him a genuine smile. “Thank you but Blaine is helping me a lot. He is a nice guy, he really is.”

“I know. I didn’t mean to–”

“It’s okay,” Kurt cut in before the other boy could finish. “I’m happy with him.”

Finn took his hand. “I’m happy for you. Both of you.”

Kurt smiled. “How long have you two known each other?”

“Since he was a ‘white’. I was his supervisor.”

“Seriously?” Kurt asked frowning a bit. He was overwhelmed by the coincidence.

“Yes. It was a pleasure working with him. Always a nice humble boy. The White Squad of that year surprised everyone. Before I became a supervisor I was more or less like those robots. I can easily say that what you see in front of you today is thanks to Blaine. He taught me that you can be good without being empty inside.”

“Oh, how romantic,” Kurt laughed.

Finn rolled his eyes but laughed as well. “Just so you know, he is not my type.”

They started laughing uncontrollably, the way one laughs after all the stress goes away. It took a few moments to get the breath back.

“I missed you,” Kurt said smiling softly.

“I missed you too. Anyway, tell me what is going on here with you.”

“Well,” Kurt said giving himself a second to think, “I’m mainly doing the ‘whites’ stuff. There are five of us. Tina, Santana, Sebastian, Wes, and me. The supervisors are Blaine, Mike, Sugar, Sam, and Nick. I don’t know if you know all of them. Usually we spend time together. Also Jeff and Noah join us quite often.”

“Noah?” Finn asked, one eyebrow raised in confusion.

“Noah. Don’t you know him?”

“I do… It’s just weird. Noah and Blaine don’t really like each other,” Finn explained.

Kurt giggled. “Not anymore. Apparently, Blaine and I are his favourite gays.”

Finn frowned. “It’s weird.”

“Why? I know they competed or something like who was stronger, who was faster and so on.”

“You are talking about Dave.”

Kurt shrugged. “I thought the three of them competed.”

“No,” Finn said.

“What’s wrong?” Kurt asked watching his brother carefully.

Finn sighed. “Did you know they used to be roommates for the whole year in the White Squad?” he finally asked.

“No…” Kurt frowned’ nobody had bothered to tell him that.

“Well, they were. They were good friends. And then some shit went down. They hadn’t spoken for a long time afterwards and when they started talking it was forced and only when completely necessary.”

“What happened?” Kurt asked worried, different scenarios playing in his mind.

Finn shook his head. “It’s not mine to tell.”

Kurt wanted to protest but he knew better – Finn would never tell him. He was about to ask about his life as an agent when the doors opened and Blaine came in with Rachel.

“We just wanted to check if you didn’t kill each other,” Rachel giggled.

Blaine sat down next to Kurt stone-faced and took his hand while staring at Finn. “Everything is fine, Blaine,” Kurt assured him and kissed him on a cheek.

“Don’t you ever talk to him like you did before,” he said silently.

“Blaine, baby, it’s okay. We were both emotional but now we are fine. We talked and it’s alright.”

Blaine eyed him looking for some evidence of his boyfriend lying. But Kurt looked and sounded sincerely so he squeezed his and gave a small smile.

“By the way, if you ever hurt Kurt–”

“I will kick my own ass because I know you couldn’t,” Blaine said and they all laughed.

Rachel clapped her hands cheerfully. “Can we have some breakfast now, drama queens?”

“Didn’t you eat when we left?” Finn asked her.

“Blaine?” Kurt asked crossing his arms over the chest.

Blaine raised his both hands in defence. “I swear we didn’t use any secret cameras in our apartment.”

“’Our apartment?’ Since when do you live together? Don’t you have a dorm room, Kurt?” Finn asked.

“We have lived together for a while,” Kurt giggled.

Finn sighed. “I guess, I will have to get used to seeing my little brother with his boyfriend. It was much easier when we were in different continents.”

End Notes: It would mean the world to me if you could let me know what you think :) xox

AKSLDHDKSHDKDNDKSGDMDKLM LOVE! Seriously, I'm stalking this story to the point of it being unhealthy. My poor best friend hasn't heard the end of it :') More! Or I'll go mad! xxx

Tell your friend I'm very sorry :D x

Loving the story...can't wait to see what surprises you have next for us.

Given it's a review on ch19... quite a few surprises ahead :D xoxThanks for reading ;) x

Of course I loved it. I had wanted to say something earlier but i wasn't sure if i read right but I just read it again so I knew I was right. In an early chapter when those 5 were trying to get Kurt and Blaine together and they were talking about if they noticed anything weird going on and Blaine said something like Jeff asking to throw a party in our apartment and right now I read our apartment again. I caught it earlier and thought to myself they have to be hiding something cause he said our apartment but they don't live together and next thing I read they were together lol just wanted to say this cause i new i wasn't reading what i wanted to see it was really there :D

Well, Kurt spent a night at Blaine's place once and after that it became kind of normal for them :) Sebastian didn't spend much time in their dorm room either so I guess they had a silent deal to not talk about it :DIt's great to know that I have an observant reader - let me know if you find any plot mistakes ;D
